Other thoughts I have on the show before I ran out the door for work.
- I'm all in on the whatever is going on at Winterfell. This cat & mouse game with Littlefinger/Sansa/Ayra is getting good. I don't know if someone if being played or somebody's gettin' whacked soon, but I dig it. - Night King doing his best Sauron impression when he discovered Bran in warg mode. "I SEE YOU!" Had to laugh at that one. - Calling BS with Cersei being pregnant. - Bad day for Sam. Couldn't hack it as a Maester AND his brother & father get BBQ'd. Jim Broadbent not telling him made it much worse. He might just snap. - Jamie realizing there's no way Lannisters are winning this war might be what turns him face again. That's all. |

Only thing I can say to that is that Dany isn't a believer in the army of the dead and is preoccupied with her desire to knock off the Lannisters and take the Iron Throne so that's why they aren't using a dragon.
Jon not stopping by Winterfell? I dunno. You'd think he would but maybe he figured he was just there and the scroll Bran sent must be all the info he needed. He left Sansa in charge so as far as he's concerned his #1 goal is getting proof to unite everyone since the dead are close. |
He isnt going to WInterfell because its a bad plot device. Bran will tell John of his origins so they must be kept apart. So tail end of NEXT SEASON prob.

Or maybe the path to Eastwatch was faster if he didn't stop by Winterfell, which is more center of the map. So while he would have loved to see his family, he went the fastest way possible.

Does anyone else think the Queen of Dragons will be killed during this whole undead war thing? Lanisters will think they won until they realize the dragons follow Snow now. Snow ends up ruling the 7 kingdoms in the end.
