well I figured out how to fix the girlfriend is not home glitch, you must have a blank save slot, save twice on the save slot you have running on then save a third time (or however many times you have to save untill you have reached the time period in which the girl is home) on the blank save slot and load from that slot. Proceed to date the girl untill 100% then do the save for any other girls you have left.

End of the Line is freakin' sweet. Blows the GTA3/VC final main story missions out of the water, IMO.

It would've had the ending been better. I think the last mission in Vice City sucked, but I think the last mission in GTA3 is still by far the best of the three games.

The Last mission in San Andreas has to be the best of the three. Crack house shootout = ratings with a movie-like car chase.

I actually liked Vice City's ending a lot since it reminded me of Scarface. I still wouldn't mind if Tommy returned in a future GTA since he was the best main character due to his insanity. Heh, he would've shot Zero the first time that little bitch gave him orders like a slave.

I beat all of Zero's missions and the main story mission and I have two more missions in the Wang car property before I'm finished with all the missions in the game. I'm about 60% done with the game right now.

Hired Hitman 12-08-2004 09:07 PM

My game is on 99.47% or so, I can't figure out what I need to do.

I'd get the guide since it has a list of all the things you need to do.

el fregadero 12-08-2004 10:57 PM

Or you could save your money and go to gamefaqs.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Here's a link to one that I found: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/f...00_percent.txt

Hired Hitman 12-08-2004 11:20 PM

Yeah I checked the gamefaqs guide but couldn't find out what I had left to do, then I remembered I loaded a pre-finished game to find out what caused the basketball glitch, so I thought what did I do on the game before I loaded the other section... then it hit me The Bike School!

el fregadero 12-08-2004 11:29 PM

I was gonna say check and see if you did boat school, but I guess it was bike school that you missed.

Hired Hitman 12-09-2004 04:19 AM

For the last 4 hours I had a non-stop 6-star chase which covered Land, Sea and Air.

I started out on foot climbed ontop of buildings then shot down some helicopters, blew up some cars using the chaingun, when I got 6 stars I proceeded to take my hydra (from sweet's place), just as I took off a hydra came at me and shot a missle, I just got the flare out in time, there was no smoke coming from the jet so I was glad... after a good half hour of aircombat with about 20 other hydras I clipped another hydra and bailed out into the ocean, south of Los Santos. I stole a police boat which got RAPED by police Helicopter gunfire soon after  , I bailed out and swam for a bit, got back on land stole a tank, went for a joyride through Los Santos, then along the train tracks into San Fierro, caused chaos there then proceeded to Las Venturas via the same train tracks, then bashed down the gates at Area 69, took out the north eastern S.A.M. site of the base, stole a hydra and started my 2nd air combat, flew back to los santos jumped out over grove street parachuted down landed right in front of the house, went in and saved

I had a few close calls with the tank flipping on it's back, but I was smart enough to fire the turrent in a direction which made the tank turn back onto it's tracks.

The Mackem 12-09-2004 09:39 AM

You da man HH!

Evil Vito 12-09-2004 10:32 AM

Haha, I love parachuting into Grove Street.

That's very impressive! I don't think I could spend four hours playing SA unless I went back in time and relived the first day I played it.

Hired Hitman 12-10-2004 04:03 AM

Well I have nothing better to do :o

VJW 12-10-2004 04:39 PM

I just beat bike school and I've collected 20 out of 50 oysters and about 5 out of a 100 horse shoes.

Hired Hitman 12-10-2004 11:49 PM

I used to have heaps of trouble with the jump and stoppie, but the first time I did it (the time i got to 100%) I got it in one try, but the normal stoppie took me 3 tries

el fregadero 12-11-2004 12:13 AM

Those trucking missions are much worse than any of Zero's missions.

I don't mind the jump and stoppie but the normal stoppie made me feel like tossing my controller against the wall in my first game.

el fregadero 12-11-2004 12:38 AM

It was the opposite for me with those stoppies, I could do the normal one somewhat easily, but it took forever to get the jump one to 100%.

Disturbed316 12-11-2004 04:31 PM

Right, I'm having some trouble with that mission where you have to get Jizzy's phone off of him. First bit is a piece of piss, but when he runs and drives off is where I'm having trouble. At the first couple of goes I went after and shot his car to bits untill it exploded, causing the mission to fail. Then I just chased him round abit and eventually lost him after I had to switch cars due to his goon shooting it up.

So what have I got to do? Just keep chasing him dodging the bullets or what?

Hmm, that's weird.

When I did that mission, Jizzy got out of the car once it got lit on fire. Then from there you just kill him and pick up the phone.

Maybe I just have to set it on fire then? hmmm

Yeah, I assume that will work.

My percentage went up today 'cause I beat the low rider challenge (which was hard for me) and I bought a property in LV. I've also began the importing and exporting which is fun. Can anybody tell me where I could find a Patriot?

EDIT

I went through a funny glitch that I call "Statue" where I jumped out of the military jet pulled out my parachute and pressed triangle to get out of it but landed in the ocean in the parachute position. CJ went underwater and above the surface over and over again without the air meter.

TheNamelessOne 12-11-2004 06:59 PM

I remember that mission, and I kinda cheated on it a little bit.

I knew from the start that there would be a car chase involved, so I shot the tyres on Jizzys car outside the building hoping it would work. It did.

I wouldn't consider that cheating since it's not as if you used actual cheat codes. I do crap like that in a lot of games.

Hired Hitman 12-12-2004 01:06 AM

For that jizzy mission I parked the limo infront of his car :D

Disturbed316 12-12-2004 01:23 PM

I did it in the end, I shot out his tyres before and then rammed the car to shit :y:

Best thing was, I didn't even kill him, another mad driver ran over him when he got out, so no blood on my hands :o

Did that "Monster" mission, man that was cool, gonna explore Los Venturas now :y:

House of Pancakes 12-12-2004 01:37 PM

The Monster should be harder to get. You can get it by winning a race at the stadium in Las Venturras, you get it from the Import/Export, you get it by meeting Michelle, and you get it in a mission in the desert where you can just drive it to your garage.

P.S. Did anyone think that the after-storyline game in Vice City was more fun to play? I just don't have any motivation in San Andreas to keep playing once I beat the storyline. All the extra missions and races suck for the most part [not to mention it takes awhile to find everything and drive from one county to the other], and you can only go around killing people for so long. I think part of the reason is because the map is so big. Vice City was a big map, but it was all bunched together, so killing sprees were easier. I just think that there's so much to do and so many places to go, I just don't bother sometimes. Does that make any sense to people? It seems like it was easier and more compelling to just start a riot in Vice City than in San Andreas.

I fucking love this game, and I'll probably get back into it and think "what the fuck was I going on about" but as for now, I'm resting from the game.

Yeah, sometimes I wish that there was a way to get to places more quickly instead of driving . . . Flying is great but sometimes I'm just too damn lazy to drive to the airport.

Hired Hitman 12-12-2004 08:50 PM

you can take a train. it's like taking a plane but it's on a train... :$

If you enter a cart it acts like you paid for a ride and will give you an option to skip to next station.

The Mackem 12-12-2004 09:05 PM

Me and my mate are still on thr first island. Do you have take all the terrorities are have full loving it your girl before you progress?

el fregadero 12-12-2004 09:06 PM

You don't have to do either of those things, Mackem.

Hired Hitman 12-12-2004 09:11 PM

Actually it gets you into the story more if you do take over all the turfs.

It would be really cool if you could get around SF in one of those trolleys. I could've sworn that R* confirmed that you could ride those but maybe that's just wishful thinking . . .

Optik 12-12-2004 10:32 PM

Na, taking over all the turfs don't get you more involved in the story the first time around taking them since well you know what happens. (Didn't want to say it cause of Mackem)

About the trains, if you've done the freight mission you get to ride them for free so yeh thats good...

The train missions were great since you get 50k which is was great for me since I didn't have enough cash to buy the abandoned airstrip at first in both of my games.
