Stupid how players run back any kickoffs any more... seems like it takes an insane effort to get it back to the 20, most times they get stopped at the 12

ClockShot 11-30-2014 07:32 PM

Oakland gets annihilated 52-0.

Gonna feel really bad for whoever goes #1 in the draft next season.

Emperor Smeat 11-30-2014 07:34 PM

:-\ Pats lost. Game was really good though.

Was hoping the Pats defense would have been a lot better against Rodgers but instead he was way too great.

Phil Simms might be the biggest on-air jinx in the NFL. Whenever he praises something good about the Pats (ex. Pats great at man-to-man), something bad occurs afterwards almost every time (ex. Pack scoring right before the half against man-to-man coverage).

That was a fucking gift for San Diego, BUT if the Ravens scored just one TD instead of settling for a FG, that play is irrelevant/maybe doesn't even happen.

OssMan 11-30-2014 09:07 PM

Phil Simms kept talking about the "sinner" they drafted and how he was a "true sinner"

Droford 11-30-2014 09:26 PM

The Chiefs should rethink the Eva Marie all red everything uniform choice

Nark Order 11-30-2014 09:28 PM

Droford, make a comment about your favorite team losing.

Reese needs to go because of years and years of bad drafting but I'll believe the franchise that has had only 3 GMs since 1979 and didn't fire any of them will fire a GM when I see it.

The minute they start the fire Coughlin rumors, they'll win another Super Bowl.

Evil Vito 11-30-2014 10:04 PM

That's reason enough to keep him tbh. Next year can continue the every 4 years plan. :)

Ruien 11-30-2014 10:18 PM

This Anderson guy can play.

Tom Guycott 12-01-2014 01:02 AM

Sigh. Browns being predictable. Hoyer will now get a "last chance", then they'll milk the Johnny Football cash cow into the next season... and the team will still be mediocre. Then, they'll draft the next hot young QB savior the following year, and Manziel will have to look over his shoulder... and that isn't even taking into account the possibility of a new head coach, since they kinda breeze through those as an organization as well.

They squander any talent they get in the position by always getting a young lion to nip at the heels and aquiese to fan wishes for immediate change, instead of just saying "this is our guy- deal with it" and building to the future without creating their own damn drama.

In perspective: Matt Ryan has started for Atlanta since drafted in 08 in the wake of that whole Michael Vick thing. In that same time span, Cleveland has shifted to 11 (well, now 12) different starters. A dozen QBs in six years. Can't build confidence and improve ability in the space of a cup of coffee, and the team can't become "better" overnight. Can't keep their head in the game if they constantly have to fear the next guy coming in to take their job.

And I don't even want to discuss the trainwreck my 49ers have become... tis a dark time for my pro football fandom.

At least my college team beat "that team up north".

ClockShot 12-01-2014 07:39 AM

I don't know where this C.J. Anderson guy came from, but let's keep him around.

Droford's right about the Chefs uniforms. All that red in HD made my eyes hurt.

Heisenberg 12-01-2014 09:17 AM

Alex Smith being a starting QB in the NFL makes my eyes hurt. Too conservative. I want Denver v.s. Green Bay in the SuperBowl

Triple A 12-01-2014 11:03 PM

come on Nick Folk.......

Helmsphere 12-02-2014 08:29 AM

YES The Fins won. Now only a quarter of the season left to screw things up.

road doggy dogg 12-03-2014 11:47 PM

Bills not gonna play in Toronto anymore

Definitely think it will be Green Bay for the NFC. Feeling New England for the AFC. Green Bay wins.

Yeah, it's not original. I'm not hear to shock anyone. Fuck off.

#1-norm-fan 12-04-2014 02:45 AM

Also, I think Dallas will go 11-5 and miss the playoffs.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-04-2014 04:43 AM

10-6 is more likely.

Win Loss Loss Win.

You need a few Seattle Divisional losses in case the 3 way tie continues.

Innovator 12-04-2014 10:23 AM

It's amazing how ESPN and talking heads all talk about how QB play without mentioning the o-line.

Evil Vito 12-04-2014 10:53 AM

Yeah I'm having a really hard time seeing Green Bay not representing the NFC, especially if they lock up homefield. Yeah their season ended in Lambeau 2 of the last 3 years but they do seem to be a different team at home...and moreover Rodgers is playing out of his mind right now. He isn't getting sacked every other play as he was the last couple of years. You give Rodgers any sort of time and he's going to find an open receiver like 97% of the time.

screech 12-04-2014 01:57 PM

Haloti Ngata out 4 games for PED. Well, shit

Droford 12-04-2014 06:24 PM

He can at least come back when they make the playoffs unlike the situation with Chris Davis for the same thing with the Orioles. Might actually be a good thing.

screech 12-04-2014 06:31 PM

If they make the playoffs. Basically need to win out now. I can't handle this stress.

Droford 12-04-2014 07:25 PM

I messed around with the playoff machine and theyre pretty much in if they go 3-1 or better. They can even still win the division given that the Bengals still plays Denver and Pittsburgh twice.

#1-norm-fan 12-04-2014 09:38 PM

Droford locking the Ravens into the playoffs. It's a wrap.

Ruien 12-04-2014 09:54 PM

Droford also said the Ravens would win 12 games.

#1-norm-fan 12-04-2014 10:06 PM

Droford says a lot of things.

screech 12-04-2014 10:14 PM

Very nervous about the Miami game. I know they barely beat the Jets, but they also demolished the Chargers. Gdammit

You forgot Shoe-in.

Helmsphere 12-05-2014 01:45 AM

I really hope Miami ends up pulling it out this week against Baltimore. I know the Ravens aren't technically a Rival, but the two clubs have so much history, well atleast when it comes to Big Games for Miami.

Miami hasn't beaten the Ravens since my 23 Birthday, which was a somewhat big game for Miami (They defeated the Ravens to win their only game of that Season)

Plus the last two times The Fins have made the Playoffs, They have been kicked out at Home by Baltimore (2000 and 2009)

Miami needs to end that dought against the Ravens. Barring a New England loss, which I don't see happening, This might be the biggest game left on Miami schedule. Of course a Miami win and New England loss would put possible control of the AFC East up for grabs in Foxsboro. Even then, I don't seeing the Patriots dropping 3 in a row. Honestly don't see them dropping any between now and when they ultimately play Denver again in the Playoffs

road doggy dogg 12-05-2014 08:13 AM

Cool, nice to see a Dolphins fan here (for variety) since Spilchuk is MIA... ha ha get it

road doggy dogg 12-05-2014 08:13 AM

(Missing In Action + "MIA" is the abbreviated Miami letters)

screech 12-05-2014 09:04 AM

Look at you making a funny

Evil Vito 12-05-2014 01:04 PM

Saw a crazy stat today. Only 5 players on the current Packers roster played for other teams. So literally their entire roster beyond those 5 guys were either drafted by the team or signed as undrafted rookies. That's pretty damn impressive.
