Horton just got rocked.

Wow. Keep your head on a swivel when heading down the trolley tracks!

Arashi Kage 06-06-2011 09:42 PM

Hope that Horton is alright, didn't look like the hit got him as bad as hitting the ice did.

TheChairman 06-06-2011 09:56 PM

Update from CBC, Horton went to Hospital, has movement in all his limbs.

Lets start the guessing game, how many games does Rome get? I am predicting now, for the rest of playoffs, and 10 games next season.

Lara Emily 06-06-2011 10:06 PM

In the real world he should get a few but based on the fact that Chara got 0 for his Interference injury hit, by NHL precedent if he gets any the Canucks should be outraged.

OH and Bwhahahahahaha Don Cherry just lost the last 0.00000001% of credibility he ever had. He just argued that Boston should be able to put in a scratched player (Tyler Seguin) because Horton got hurt. That's right he basically is saying they should have free right to violate the whole concept of a roster. Fucking Bruins homer

weather vane 06-06-2011 11:02 PM

Horton will be ok. We need to finish this game strong!

Emperor Smeat 06-07-2011 12:05 AM

:D 8-1 beatdown win for the Bruins.

Thomas was great and so was the offense. Luongo quit near the end of the game while Vancouver had its chances (40 saves by Timmy).

Feel bad for Horton but  Lucic and others taunting with the hands to Burrows. Doesn't matter what happens this series for Burrows since now he's going to be known as a finger bitter for years with a lot of players upset at him (majority not even playing in the Cup).

Sean 06-07-2011 12:09 AM

Excellent game from the Bruins tonight. I have no respect for the Canucks and I'm glad they got their asses handed to them.

weather vane 06-07-2011 12:10 AM

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmyyyyyyyy

Sean 06-07-2011 12:17 AM

So is Alain Vigneault going to call out Jannick Hansen for the stick slap on Krejci since he made such a big deal about Peverley doing it to Bieksa or is it okay this time around? My guess is he won't bring it up on his own unlike before.

Stickman 06-07-2011 12:29 AM

I love how Boston's coach said Lapierre was classless for his finger taunt and two of his own players do the same thing.

Series just got interesting, still not worried.

KleptoKlown 06-07-2011 12:31 AM

Glad to see the B's do everything they are going to in 1 game. Nucks in 5.

Just like CJ wont bring up Recchi or Chara for the finger in the face taunt...which he earlier said was classless and an embarrassment.

KleptoKlown 06-07-2011 12:34 AM

Alright...

I was a drunken dickhead to all B's fans after game 1....

Slam me, rape me, bend me over...

enjoy it while you can, because this is the B's highlight of the year

He did in the post game press conference...

Yeah, seriously. So lame to see all these guys sticking fingers in each other's faces, "come on, bite it, come on!!".

Get over it already. Hilarious (ly sad) to see millionaire's on ice acting like school yard kids. :(

KleptoKlown 06-07-2011 12:38 AM

Coincidentally enough, this is the 25th year anniversary that the B's raped the Nucks for Dennis Pederson in exchange for Cam Mother Fuckin Neely AAAAND Glen Wesley.

Worst trade in Nucks history.

If the Nucks ever make a worse trade than that, Im actually going to watch Brazilian beach volleyball instead of just fapping to it.

Sean 06-07-2011 12:42 AM

It's also Cam Neely's birthday today.

Especially Recchi...who has been playing longer than a lot of posters here have been alive.

Does anyone remember Lemieux, Recchi, Stevens? (Kevin fu'n who?)

They would take Getzlaff Perry Ryan to school anyday.

He was a young future star...

He's been a legend ever since. To see him resort to such antics is a crying shame.

Like I said....glad to see Boston get it all done in 1 day. It's it the only day they're going to enjoy this series..this year...this decade.

KleptoKlown 06-07-2011 12:52 AM

You're not going to see the Nucks play any worse...you're a dick if you think otherwise.

You're not going to see the B's play any better...

Gmae 4 is going to be FUCKIN HUGE. If the Nucks come out with the split...it's game over.

If the B's come out on top, it's a best of 3 series with the B's in control with all of the momentum.

I think it's a little different but it's a moot point. Recchi claimed ignorance to the comments but Julien chewed them out for it apparently so I'm hoping the matter will be but to bed. Doubtful with all the puns made by the media, though.

Wrong. (as Spilchuck mentioned)

LOL why would I think the Canucks would play any worse? It's pretty hard to top giving up eight goals, two of which were SHG.

KleptoKlown 06-07-2011 12:56 AM

Bruins are also lucky to have Thomas...

Without him, the Habs take you out...

After the game 3-0...it was over. Doesnt really matter what the final score was. All running the goal up does is piss the Nucks off...do you really want a pissed off Nucks team on your doorstep?

Sean 06-07-2011 01:00 AM

It's a bit interesting to note how people completely wrote the Bruins off yet it took the Canucks 59+ minutes for them to score a goal in game 1 and they had to come from behind and then score in OT to win in game 2. And now when the Bruins rout the Canucks they blew their load and it's going to be all Vancouver for the next few games.

Sure? I can't say they really intimidate.

No one denies this.

KK, can you please explain to me what Daniel Sedin was doing on the collision with Andrew Ference? If you don't recall, the hit/post-whistle scuffle resulted in game misconducts for both. It was a shoulder to shoulder hit (clean) and Sedin went down clutching his face...then he went after Ference. Why? Enlighten me please.

This series is entirely up to Thomas.

If the B's win, it's because he's superman.

If the B's lose, it's because he's human.

Game 1 was owned by the Nucks, the only reason it came down to 19 seconds was because of Thomas.

Game 3 was owned by the B's...because they were motivated by the Horton hit, and no one from the Nucks responded.

Nucks will respond next game...guaranteed. You better home old man Thomas doesnt take a nap.

Game was already over...not in terms of the time clock...but in terms of reality.

Sean 06-07-2011 01:12 AM

Why did he clutch his face?

You've already seen the worst your enemy is going to display.

Your enemy is without its (arguably) best dman.

Your team played the best its going to play.

You're team is still down 2-1 in the series, and has to win 1 on the road.

Nucks are awesome at home...and have home ice advantage.

You're not worried? Must be some good (Canadian made) pharmaceuticals you're on.

Same reason Bergeron acted like he was shot after a nick on his pinky?

Polishing your halo is the same as polishing your knob...you're only fucking yourself.

Lara Emily 06-07-2011 01:32 AM

Winner of Game 4 wins the cup. That's my guess.

You're comparing a phantom hit to the face to an actual bite that drew blood? okay.

If the Nucks win, I agree...

If the B's win...not necessarily.

All that means is that the home team has won every game.

Last I checked, Nucks have 4 home games scheduled compared to the B's 3.

The Bruins have (at the very least) held their own against the top team in the NHL - on the road, at that. I think you're mistaking my desire to see the Bruins receive more recognition & credit for some sort of belief that the Canucks will get blown out.
