Wouldn't be surprised if it did occur because that once happened at Fenway when Red Sox won the division in 2007 and needed the Orioles at home to beat the Yankees.

Honestly, it has everything to do with injuries. Losing Jurrjens and Hanson for half the year has everything to do with this. Too much pressure on the most used bullpen in baseball.
