Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-03-2006 12:40 AM

Look at that, he caught the ball rolled over 3 times then hit it out with his own knee. Definetly not an interception, Manning doens't throw those.

The Miz 08-03-2006 12:41 AM

The Yeti is a Pirate fan FYI

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-03-2006 12:44 AM

Yeah they got a nice stadium

Dragon 08-03-2006 01:31 AM

crazy slide by A-Rod in the game earlier

We have Lidle going tomorrow, hopefully that goes well.

FakeLaser 08-03-2006 01:47 AM

Wang is the man.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-03-2006 04:02 AM

lol wow just saw Jay Payton's reaction to getting hit with the bases loaded in a one run game. What a fag, he flipped out and wanted to charge the mound. Is this guy serious?

SammyG 08-03-2006 04:13 AM

Hmm. Dodgers on a 5 game winning streak. And only 3 games out of the NL West lead again. Are things possibly looking up again? I hope. Betemit was a fuckin good pickup for LAD, he's solid.

ct2k 08-03-2006 07:17 AM

Wang just gets better:eek:

ct2k 08-03-2006 07:18 AM

Man for most of the season i've gone on about how the wildcard will definitely come from the Central, its wide open now baby!

FakeLaser 08-03-2006 11:32 AM

We're not going to win the wildcard.

We're gonna win the division.

ct2k 08-03-2006 11:46 AM

I'm starting to think that myself now, not gonna make a prediction yet though:p

Loose Cannon 08-03-2006 04:54 PM

*yawn* another Yankee win over those Jays.

This is getting rather boring now. *yawn*

SammyG 08-03-2006 05:05 PM

Maddux's first start today with the Dodgers. I'm excited.

FakeLaser 08-03-2006 05:38 PM

Nice start by Lidle. 6.0 IP, 1 ER, 5 Ks, 2 BBs

Loose Cannon 08-03-2006 05:43 PM

Mr August

Joey Slugs 08-03-2006 06:59 PM

Report: Red Sox get catching help in Javy Lopez

YOUR Hero 08-03-2006 09:03 PM

He has to go through waivers first now. I don't see other teams letting this happen... those that can afford it/him, anyway.

YOUR Hero 08-03-2006 09:04 PM

....hell, even a team like Pittsburgh would be wise to claim him if he went on waivers.

Yeah I think he might have gotten release right before that game you went to actually.

SammyG 08-04-2006 03:44 AM

Dodgerzzzz

ct2k 08-04-2006 08:41 AM

So Jake Westbrook gives up 6 ER on 15 hits and still gets the win:lol:

Also, Josh Beckett sucks, how has that guy won 13 games?

Also, happy to see Lidle, Abreu and Craig Wilson all producing:y:

What are you talking about? Excuse him for playing with emotion, he didn´t ¨flip out¨. Playing in a game like that with all the adrenaline flowing I don´t blame him. And the bases weren´t loaded, first base was open with Nick ¨5 hits in the last 2 months¨ Swisher on deck and it was obviously intentional. Not to mention he´d homered the previous two games vs. them, including a game winner. If doing what he did makes him a fag then Curt Schilling is by far the biggest homosexual in the history of the universe.

"When you get hit in the hand and you feel like it's broken, you react," said Payton, who will have X-rays taken. "The anger was more toward the fact my hand might be broken. I know [Shields] is a good guy."

YEAH MAN IS THIS KID SERIOUS

YOUR Hero 08-04-2006 10:33 AM

Jay Payton is an open homosexual.

RoXer 08-04-2006 01:29 PM

I'm not a Jay Payton fan.

OssMan 08-04-2006 02:14 PM

so does Josh Beckett still have that streak of home runs allowed still going

Boomer 08-04-2006 02:42 PM

Javy Lopez is past his prime, and had a great last contract year with the Braves. He's still my boy, just don't know how good he can still be. He hasn't been given that much of a chance.

ct2k 08-04-2006 03:00 PM

I like Javy, he's a pretty good producer if a little inconsistent, but catcher isn't a position that should be relied upon for hitting anyway so he gets a pass

Boomer 08-04-2006 04:34 PM

So Andruw has been claimed on waivers. Interesting. Gonna see if the Braves are ballsy and crazy enough to trade him.

He'd get a pass if he was a good defensive catcher.

The Miz 08-04-2006 07:27 PM

There´s no way Atlanta could get near the value they´re looking for through waivers, because players on the 40-man rosters aren´t eligible to be traded. It would be smart of them to trade Jones this offseason though

McLegend 08-04-2006 10:34 PM

It looks like Chase's streak might be over.

Evil Vito 08-04-2006 11:15 PM

Utley whiffs in the 9th. Barring a huge Philly inning or Mets pushing it into extras, its over.

Evil Vito 08-04-2006 11:28 PM

haha streak over

So what if they lost the game. 11 game lead still

It kills me how pessimistic Mets fans are. They all think the team will collapse ala 1978 Red Sox :|

-EDIT-

ROFL @ Phillies fans. Flooding the message boards calling Mets fans classless for cheering the end of the streak. Since when were Philly fans allowed to judge classiness?

Umm....the Mets were still in the game...why would we want him to get a hit and make the odds of winning worse? :o

mrslackalack 08-04-2006 11:39 PM

I wonder if the Red Sox is getting Jones? I have heard them the Angels and the Astros.

weather vane 08-05-2006 03:44 AM

Ortiz is too good for this league. Needs his own league. Him and Pujols.

BCWWF 08-05-2006 06:48 AM

Mauer and Morneau

I rate Pujols higher purely because he hits for a higher average and he actually plays defense
