Way to go, Denver. Your greatly improving D just reverted back to where it was 2 months ago. All we need is to either win one or San Diego to lose one.

HeartBreakMan2k 12-14-2008 08:42 PM

PPPPPAAAAAAANNNNNNTTTTTTTHHHHHHEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

ClockShot 12-14-2008 08:44 PM

It was the Panthers, dude. Denver was the underdog in this game and Cutler had to be flawless to come out of this alive. After I saw he threw an INT, it was probably done. We'll probably seal the deal next week against an off and on Buffalo team.

Thanks, Chefs. All you had to do was have a big game and put away the Chargers for us.

ClockShot 12-14-2008 09:38 PM

Steelers pull off another miracle.

Evil Vito 12-15-2008 12:23 AM

God, I have a horrible feeling everything's come full circle. It was this game last year against the Skins where Shockey got injured and they turned it right around.......and now 1 year later they are stumbling to the finish line.

Reallllllly bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that they could wind up going 1 and done.

Gonzo 12-15-2008 12:27 AM

God damn. Another dud. Got to give the Cowboys their due though. Tough one. I think the realization that missing Brandon Jacobs (and to a lesser extent Plaxico) is catching up to the Giants.

IC Champion 12-15-2008 12:32 AM

FUCKING EH COWBOYS WIN

Choice is a quick little fucker.

HeartBreakMan2k 12-15-2008 01:24 AM

Overall I'm really happy for my Panthers at the result of all the games. Plus I saw some holes in NY that I think they can exploit. Good shit.

RP 12-15-2008 08:31 AM

LOL what was Jeff Fisher doing?

Bironas is kicking lasers and he decides to have Collins throw a 20 yard pass to Justin McCareins, who coincidently just met Collins during the timeout...

Supreme Olajuwon 12-15-2008 01:35 PM

Fisher said during warmups that the wind was so bad at that end of the field that Bironas couldn't even make 40 yarders. Still, you've got one of the best kickers in the NFL who's 4/4 on the day including a 51 yarder and your offense hasn't done shit all day. It's hard to question a guy like Fisher who I respect as much as anyone on any level of football, but I think he made a bad decision.

Boomer 12-15-2008 02:26 PM

Not a big fan of the fact that the Falcons need help right now and could go 11-5 and miss the playoffs.

DrA 12-15-2008 03:42 PM

That would be balls.

MVP 12-15-2008 05:32 PM

Looks like it'll go to week 17 before we know if the Pats make the playoffs, assuming they don't lose next week and the Jets win. It's gonna be tough considering we're playing Arizona next, and Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald will probably set records for receiving yards against our miserable secondary.

McLegend 12-15-2008 10:30 PM

Enough of the fuckin wildcat.

SammyG 12-16-2008 12:21 AM

Wow this game is gay.

Noooooodle! 12-16-2008 10:56 AM

God damit, The patriots secondary sucks ass! to give up 20 odd points to a useless oakland raiders team is shocking.

Well it doesn't exactly matter when you reply with like 50 points of your own. That game was dead after the 1st quarter, that's not really a fair way to asses it.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-16-2008 07:33 PM

Bret Favre, who leads the NFL in interceptions, was selected to the Pro Bowl. Phillip Rivers, who leads the NFL in TDs and QB rating, was not. Favre was not voted in by the fans, mind you, but selected as a backup. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

FearedSanctity 12-16-2008 09:42 PM

And Ryan Clady, a tackle who has allowed only .5 sacks and 3 penatlies so far this season, was not voted to the Pro Bowl. Meanwhile, Jason Peters (11.5 sacks, 8 penalties) is a starter

Supreme Olajuwon 12-16-2008 10:07 PM

not even close to being the same thing

Boomer 12-16-2008 11:13 PM

Dunno why John Abraham didn't get in, but eh. Of all the All Star games, I really care about the Pro Bowl the least.

OssMan 12-16-2008 11:28 PM

Winner gets home field advantage in the super bowl

Boomer 12-16-2008 11:47 PM

Only good thing about the Pro Bowl ever.

Team Sheep 12-17-2008 12:44 PM

Pfft why does everyone always talk about the Pro Bowl. Who fucking cares.

#1-norm-fan 12-17-2008 09:54 PM

So two weeks ago it was being reported that Adam Jones had suffered a season ending and possibly career ending neck injury.

He is now back at practice and will be starting this Saturday against Baltimore.

Someone deserves an award for that report. :shifty:

RP 12-18-2008 08:16 AM

Ed Werder reporting.

#1-norm-fan 12-18-2008 06:48 PM

RP 12-19-2008 12:20 AM

The MVP award was clinched tonight by Peyton Manning. They should award him next week.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-19-2008 02:11 AM

VonErichLives 12-20-2008 06:53 PM

RP - ESPN was saying today that Dungy may step down this year and there is a good chance he'll take over in STL...

can you explain to me, is ESPN talking out their ass or is their a reason for this?

Cause, even if he's not the GM in indy would you really leave one of the best teams in football to rebuild a team so you can have control of player personel? or is their something else, like his family is there or something?

Cause it doesn't seem to make sense..

Mr. Monday Morning 12-20-2008 06:59 PM

Last time Dungy and retirement were mentioned together he was meant to want to go be a pastor, probably down in Tampa I think. I don't know that he's ever gone on the record as saying that though. Either way can't imagine him going to STL, makes no sense at all.

RP 12-20-2008 07:37 PM

ESPN are idiots. Dungy doesnt wanna coach much more. If he leaves this year, he's done with the league. He's not gunna go rebuild another team. Dungy has been saying for a few years now that he wants to do more important things with his life, including being with his family. Theres no way at all that Dungy is coaching the Rams next season. It wont happen. Thats just ESPN reporting fake stories.

ClockShot 12-20-2008 07:37 PM

R.I.P. RCA Dome.

They said Dungy may step down and the Rams are looking to get Jim Caldwell. Not Dungy.

Shadow 12-21-2008 01:13 AM

Cowboys just totally collasped there against the Ravnes.

How do you let two running bags go back to back touchdowns?
