Ron Artest couldn't make anything, but yet he can somehow make that.

That was a hard fuckin shot.

Kinda h8 both these teams but "damn".

alvarado52 05-27-2010 11:45 PM

awesome game...Lakers blew some big plays, but so did the Suns. This series isnt over, far from it. The Suns fought back tooth and nail

alvarado52 05-27-2010 11:47 PM

Next game should be interesting...hell, they might even call a travel on Steve Nash once in the game.

Just like they MIGHT call an Over the Back on Gasshole and Scrodom?

alvarado52 05-28-2010 12:09 AM

Gasshole and Scrodom....god damn you come off immature at times. With SammyG gone, you pretty much stand out here. Congrats Wadding, no longer are you runner up for 'dbag basketball fan'.

Nark Order 05-28-2010 12:11 AM

lol. Love Lakers ability to blow such a huge lead.

Careful. He might come back with his ace in the hole; a Kobe/rapist "joke"

McLegend 05-28-2010 12:28 AM

Wadding's user title is hilarious.

Honestly, if you think I'm a dbag, you haven't looked in the mirror lately.

Juan 05-28-2010 12:31 AM

I dunno, avocado's posts have been mostly solid analysis/opinion. No name-calling.

Loose Cannon 05-28-2010 01:18 AM

Loose Cannon 05-28-2010 01:28 AM

Richardson hitting that 3 pointer was one of my biggest mark out moments ever. But that was a shitty ending.

Wadding thinks anyone who isnt a fan of whatever franchise he is is a dbag. Ive never once heard that dude say anything even remotely intelligent when it comes to basketball analysis

Juan 05-28-2010 04:43 AM

Kobe fucking Bryant

Game 1: 40 pts/5 rebs/5 asts/1 stl on 13-23, 3-6 from three
Game 2: 21 pts/13 asts/5 rebs on 8-18
Game 3: 36 pts/11 asts/9 rebs on 13-24
Game 4: 38 pts/10 asts/7 rebs on 15-22,6-9 from three
Game 5: 30 pts/11 asts/9 rebs/4 blks on 12-27,4-10 from three

the real "king"

IC Champion 05-28-2010 02:31 PM

Well the "king" is gettin ready to have a meeting with Wade, Johnson, and Bosh, Bryant is winning games in the playoffs. Suck it LBJ.

Nark Order 05-28-2010 02:42 PM

Why is everybody so hostile towards Lebron James?

IC Champion 05-28-2010 03:17 PM

I'm not, I just think it gets tiring hearing how great he is, and how he's the best, when he hasn't won anything yet. Yeah he's been to the finals, and then got swept.

Simple answer is he was anointed the next Jordan by ESPN and others before he even stepped onto an NBA court and then kept over-hyping him before he had a chance to earn that title. Last year's playoff hype was horrible since ESPN and Nike kept pushing for a Lebron-Kobe Finals match-up even though the year before the NBA had their best ratings Finals of the 2000s (Celtics v Lakers).

It took Jordan until he beat the Pistons in 1990/91 to earn the title of superstar/great player and by then his NBA career was about 6-7 years.

Nark Order 05-28-2010 08:10 PM

People sing the praises of Kobe non-stop everyday all the time as well. The Lebron thing has never really bothered me, I dunno. He is going to be one of the greatest of all time, I just don't see the issue here.

lol there it is

Nark Order 05-28-2010 10:06 PM

Am I supposed to ignore that and only focus on Lebron enthusiasts because they annoy you? Come on now...

alvarado52 05-28-2010 10:20 PM

its the fact that he is praised for essentially accomplishing nothing. He's praised as the next coming of Jordan and the savior of (insert franchise here), when he is just a physically gifted athlete. Like i said in an earlier post, his scoring and assists come from him driving the basket, not from him making Steve Nash type passes and Ray Allen type shooting.
