Currently playing The Witcher 3 but also bought DA: Inquisition, Elder Scrolls Online, Hyrule Warriors, and Windwaker. Joined Best Buys gamers club for $30 and saved $54, so it already paid for itself.

Recently finished Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Great platformer, short (~8-12 hours total) and lots of fan service (fuck yeah titties). Pacing of the game is really good too, never really felt like it lagged or anything. Would be cool to see more Shantae stuff in Nintendo's future, a Smash character or something... even an amiibo, hell yeah

Finished off Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright on the 3DS.


I enjoyed it. Court cases took longer than they should have, but I got through it.

I hear ya...that's me right now. Trying to grind all my character classes that aren't there yet to lv. 72.

Then will probably move on to more The Pre-Sequel...

I've always loved the Layton games but never actually played the Wright series (I know, I'm a communist fucker)

The game worth picking up?

Yeah it is. It's like 80% puzzles 20% cases. I never played either the Layton or Ace Attorney series so I didn't know what I was getting into. Picked this up to give a boost to my 3DS library.


Think I clocked in at about 24 hours of play time. Which is what I look for in a good story/campaign. The plot kept me guessing.

P4Dancing All Night made me replay Persona 4 again. May as well pick up the Platinum while I'm at it.

Opted out of the dashboard preview because it was making Netflix and Hulu unwatchable most nights. Fired up my One yesterday afternoon and reverting back to the current dashboard FORMATTED MY FUCKING XBOX!

Had to re-establish profiles and install every fucking thing over again. Combine that with numerous ISP outages this weekend and yea....... NOTHING!

Chibi Robo Zip Lash came in the mail Friday (pre-ordered it for the amiibo) so I've been playing a bit of that. Mostly Pokemon Shuffle + Pokemon Y + Dota 2 this month though. Been playing some Mario Maker as well.

Still need to grab Mario Kart 8 but no desire to pay $65 for it still. Need to find it used

Checking out Escape Dead Island...art/visual style is cool, but the storyline, gameplay, presentation and graphics leave somewhat to be desired.

I am kinda puzzled. Why does MW3 work exactly as well as MW1 on my laptop? Integrated graphics and whatnot, thought the higher requirements would make my FPS drop to like 10. I sometimes even think it runs smoother than the first and second parts. Weird, but cool.

I just beat Arkham Asylum

Lemme tell ya, Escape Dead Island I thought would be cool, and for the most part it's been alright, but I dunno about this one part I'm on way towards the end after Cliff fights his zombie self and kills it...he goes to this surreal world where he has to fight through in order to apparently wake up. Problem is there's this huge room where a giant orb rises out of the ground and you have to kill normal (white) ghost zombies and try to kill the green (acid spitters) and a red one as well, but it seems the green guys keep respawning and damn red one can only be hurt by your attacks when he's moving, otherwise he uses his claw-like arms to block your attack. It's easier to die dozens of times in that 1 area than it is to pass it in a sane amount of time...wanna beat this fucker just to see the damn ending...UGH.

Platinum'd Mad Max last night. Probably be spending time on Destiny or picking up something down the road that's been released. Most likely AC: Syndicate.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be finished tomorrow. Hopefully Gamestop got a deal going where I can get the most out of my trade in with Black Friday and all.

Back to Destiny...........again.

Let me know what you think of the new Guitar Hero and Elder Scrolls. I was close to buying ESO, but stopped short b/c of other games currently needing to be finished.

GH Live makes you earn your keep. That's for sure. You can't just jump right in and do whatever you want. The guitar is different, more difficult than the 5 button crap.


It took me fragmented 3 days to get ESO dl'ed so I only played one or two opening quests. Looks nice to me, I love the lore so I'll probably just breeze through that stuff.


Still playing Fallout 4 tho, that is my baby

I can't even BEGIN to tell you how many books between TES III: Morrowind & TES V: Skyrim, including DLC that I've read in-game. They really do add so much to the lore and mythology, etc. of Tamriel.

lol Yeah you can just jump in and do expert songs with the five button crap with Rock Band. Good luck with that. How long it took me to 4* Ride The Lightning, that was just my stupid fingers. Game's easy peasy.

Hearthstone is pretty fun.
Really helps the long ass boring work shifts.

My only gripe with the game was its load time on my iPhone :'( Any time you'd switch out of the app at all it would take forever to get back going again. User error and all that, but yeah

The way Guitar Hero is setup you can't just sit down and master a song unless you've built up in game credits to purchase the song itself. I love Rock Band to death, wish it was on sale over GH, but compared to the 5 button guitar it's a step up in difficulty I craved in this genre. I'm going to get Rock Band somewhere down the line, but switching back and forth between game guitars is going to be weird for sure now
