I hate how everyone is like "LOL how the heck can the Steelers lose to the fucking shitty Jets LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL they are pathetic"

Like making me angry. The Jets have basically been in almost every single game this season and have had double digit leads in like 5 of them. Could easily be like 6-4. Plus Clemens is the mannnnnn and is a huge improvement over Pennington.

Nervous Ferret 11-18-2007 10:02 PM

holla at cha' boyboy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Triple A 11-18-2007 10:03 PM

Did anyone see Kerry Rhodes pick in the Steelers game? It was fucking dirty. The highlights are on NFL.com.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-19-2007 01:11 PM

Some Buffalo Bills fan from my school claimed he threw a beer can at Belichick's son then punched him in the face last night, lol yeah ok

Gonzo 11-19-2007 01:14 PM

They would be in jail lol

in fairness you're 1-2 against teams over .500

A "close win" against .500 and sub .500 teams isn't something to really be excited about.

Someone should ask Chad if it's a Honor just to be on the sideline holding a clipboad for the new york jets.

ClockShot 11-19-2007 04:49 PM

Michael Vick surrenders to U.S. Marshalls.

Belichek when asked why he went for it on 4th and 1 when up 28 pts against Buffalo

"I really don't like kicking field goals"

LMAO. I can see exactly why so many people hate Belichek, it's understandable, but as a Pats fan I just find all his press conferences hilarious.

Way to butcher a quote...

What was actually said was he didn't like kicking field goals in that situation which puts points on the board, he thought it was better to go for in on 4th giving the defense a chance to stop them.

It's funny, the Pats punter doesn't qualify for pro bowl voting or any season records because he hasn't played enough.

We know, We know... the Colts are all perfect saints and never done anything wrong in their life, the only reason they have ever lost to the patriots is either being screwed by the refs or Catastrophic injuries which no other team has ever had to deal with when they beat us and if they say otherwise they're just making excuses for being beat by the best team to ever grace the face of the earth.

that pretty much covers it.

VonErichLives 11-20-2007 12:24 PM

sorry, no link... just heard it on the radio and missed the source.

but apperently the "trinity broadcasting network" as at the game last night wanting to tape the post game prayer, and the NFL or some security shut them down because they were filming during the game and only when 1 team was on offense...

if I hear the source I'll get a link, just funny...

lol you took all that from " The irony ".

Just made my point lol.

VonErichLives 11-20-2007 01:15 PM

it's ok RP, I understand what a let down is after a super bowl (see: Patriots 2002)

Anyway, is this why they call Merriman "Lights Out"?

What are you even talking about queer? What letdown? 8-2 is a let down these days? Do you have testicals for brains? For fuck sakes.

DrA 11-20-2007 03:08 PM

I can't put my finger on it, but there is something real annoying about VonErichLive's posts. Maybe it's the fact that you only quote RP's posts and go out of your way to stir shit about the Patriots/Colts all while using the AIDS-invested  guy. Give it a rest already.

I didn't butcher the quote because that's exactly what he said. You're giving me the context of that statement which is true.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-20-2007 08:59 PM

It was the 3rd quater and Belichick said he would rather go for and give the defense a chance to stop them (and eliminate any point scoring) instead of kicking a field goal and getting guaranteed points. If the Patriots took a fucking knee right there people would still find something to complain about so I'm not really worried about it. The thing that I am worried about though is some fag from the Steelers or Ravens or something taking out their bitterness and hurting a player on offense on purpose since they can't stop them within the rules of the game.

Also, why doesn't a team try to stop a 2nd string fullback playing running back from gaining 49 yards and a touchdown on the same play 6 times in a row before they start complaining.

RP 11-20-2007 10:41 PM

Who's complaining? I havent seen any complaining from the Bills. Stop being a cry baby.

Crimson 11-20-2007 10:47 PM

lol, I love football season.

Gonzo 11-21-2007 12:21 AM

I love watching the Patriots kicking the shit out of everyone. Then I can still have my pipe dream that the Giants uproot a perfect season. :)
