I saw that, and I don't understand the Caity Lotz involvement yet.
I like it. They should do a Justice League TV movie soon. |
The article says she may not be playing the same character... which would be hard to do unless she would be wearing extensive makeup all the time or something.

Maybe Sara saved a Martian one day.... and now that Martian uses her identity.... when she isn't out fighting crime as Miss Martian.
|
Hmm maybe. Or maybe they give her a suit that beings her back to life, but she is only alive when she is wearing the suit. So basically she dies like 3 times every episode, when she takes the suit off.
Also what was up with Ray Palmer's eyes right before he put on the suit. It almost looked like he was under some sort of mind control. Am I reading to into that? |
You mean when he woke up in bed? Just seemed to me like he had that "eureka" moment... in more ways than one....
|
I am referring to that.
I thought so, but it was weird since his eyes were all blood shot. |
He just got done banging Ms Smoak's brains out.
|
Casting descriptions for the new spinoff:
“THE TRAVELER” | Described as a “Han Solo-esque rogue who gets by with his charm, this hero hails from the future, and has journeyed back in time on a secret mission. His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances. “FEMALE WARRIOR” | This twentysomething Latina is pretty but unassuming, book smart and socially awkward by day. But by night, when she hears the cry of battle, her fury is ignited and she becomes a fierce warrior — so much so, that sometimes she can become a threat to others. “MYSTERY HERO” | An African-American male in his twenties will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations. |
That is interesting.
|
My guesses are Booster Gold, Fury, and I would say Static but I'm not sure if DC still has the rights to him or not. Read something about Milestone becoming its own company again... If they don't have Static anymore than maybe they just use BLACK Lightning.
|
Caity Lotz isn't Latina last time I check. Which makes the Caity Lotz rumors all the more weird.
|
Or was she rumored for another show?
|
I think this casting description is for additional cast members. Not Caity Lotz.
|
I would imagine she would be the mean main character.
Now Is that the same show that could possibly involve Atom? Or is this a completely other show? Cause the rumor with her involved Atom. |
This is the same show. In addition to the announced cast (Atom/Dr. Stein/Captain Cold/Caity Lotz) it was stated that it would also star three more characters that have never appeared on live action TV before.
Which actually disqualifies Booster Gold.... so maybe Rip Hunter. |
I got you. I just read more about it. I thought they were main characters of their own show, and I can't even keep tracki of these things anymore.
|
Good episode but I still greatly dislike the shoehorning of Malcolm Merlyn into the main cast....
"I didn't have anywhere else to take him"..... PUT HIM IN F'N JAIL ALREADY. I don't care how much of a good fighter he is, he is still just human... you put him in a cage (much like how they had Nyssa held in a cage) and he can't break through solid metal bars. Worried that he will still somehow escape? Hand him over to ARGUS for them to keep him perpetually drugged or something. Even if he does escape, at least you TRIED to bring him to some kind of justice for all his crimes rather than letting him stay on your sister's couch. |
Is Nanda Parbat the next town over from Starling City? I found it hard to believe that Nyssa went from Starling to Nanda Parbat and back to Starling all in a 10 minute time frame.
I know TV magic and all is in play, but I had to roll my eyes at the end. |

Good stuff though. Matt Nable was an excellent choice for Ra's btw. I like this take on him. What was up with Shado. Twin sister? Cousin? |
Anyone else find it funny after the Arrow/Atom fight that Oliver left behind an unconscience Roy Harper?
|
Also I kind of loved this episode tonight.
It was good stuff. |
I don't know about you guys, but either my TV was on the fritz, or Brandon Routh had a bad case of pink eye in the office scene with him and Steve Amell.
|
He had it in his last scene with Felecity to.
|
Missed the show because DirecTV keeps fucking up. Will have to go out to my brithers to watch it.
|
Mayor in Star City doesn't have very good job security
|
What's up guys. It's been months or even a year since i said something here. HOpe you've all been well.
This season of Arrow has been amazing. I'm looking forward to Atom being off my show. Let him go to that spinoff with FIRESTORM and Canary. |

The atoms cg budget was hilariously bad
|
I thought it was good for CW special effects. I always think the Island CGI is horrible however.
|
Hawkgirl cast for the Arrow/Flash spinoff. Some braud I've never heard of. Already closed the tab, can't be bothered to find the name.
|
Ciara Renee is her name.
I'm intrigued by this spinoff to say the least. |
Arthur Darvill cast as Rip Hunter for the spin-off
|
All the scenes between Oliver and Lance were really good.
Strong episode |
Yup.... game changing episode. Arrow seems to have a lot of them.
|
That it does.
Oliver takes a beating from people. I'm not even talking about a psyical beating, but he lets people say whatever they want to him, and he very rarely responds to it. I think that has change a little in upcoming episodes. |
I thought I saw somewhere that Ray Palmer and Felicity were gonna be in next week's Flash episode.... wonder how that will work....
|
Oh, ok, never mind. There is no Flash episode next week.
|
Oh, ok, never mind. There is no Arrow episode next week either.

Post NYPD Blue years has not been kind to Charlotte Ross. Looks like she put on 20 years after that show ended.
|
I don't know how they are going to spin in with Roy being the Arrow.
Just for one won't people notice gigantic height difference between Oliver and Roy? Obviously Lance knows The Arrow is really Oliver so I'm not sure how it will play out. Great stuff last night though regardless. |
They must have a tailor to make a suit for Roy on such short notice.
|
Don't know how this is gonna work out since Lance figured out Roy was Arsenal no more than a few episodes ago.
Unless the writers are going the WWE route and want us to pretend that it didn't happen. Either way, this hasn't been the best season. Flashbacks haven't done nothing, and we're all waiting on pins and needles to find out what happened with Maseo to send him down the path of The League. |
Lance is a real dick.
Good stuff this week. I do believe that Ray Palmer could not handle his own show, and hence why he needs 6 or whatever other Super heroes along side him. Is it going to be a really long time until we see the green hood again? I'm kind of saddened by that. |
I really liked this one tonight. Big fan of the Olicicty moments there. Finally got to see Malcolm Merlyn kick ass, and I'm all for Darth Arrow next week.
Now sending Oliver back to Starling City so soon will probably end up being a bad move for Ra's, but whatever. |
We are getting somewhere with Hong Kong now.
|
Good ep. Felt like a season finale.
|
Great episode, I really dig Oliver embracing Ra's . Next week should be good.
|
Can't believe there are still three episodes left in the season. Have no idea where it is going to go in these last episodes. Like I said, tonight felt like a "season finale" already...
|
Now Hong Kong is starting to tie together.
Arrow is on a roll right now. |
Great, another wedding!
Who's gonna step in when they get to "speak now or forever hold your peace."? |
Sara.
Yeah, she's dead, but it would make about as much sense as a lot of the things happening over the last couple weeks. |
It could still be Oliver.
I'm still unsure if he's 100% behind Ra's. |
Season 3 has been so bad.
|
Quote:
I also have grown to despise all the forced cross overs between Arrow and Flash. |
I dunno, I've quite liked Season 3. It definitely could have been better, but I'm not hating it.
Don't hate the crossovers much either since I'm really liking The Flash. |
Season 3 has had some really good moments. It has also had some really ridiculous moments.
Probably the top being Oliver getting stabbed in the chest and tossed off a mountain and somehow surviving and just having a bandaged abdomen. Really should have used the lazarus waters to bring him back... |
I don't mind that. I still feel like Oliver has some sort of "super power" that we aren't aware of yet that helped him through that.
Season 3 is still good. It's clearly not as good as Season 2 or even the 2nd half of season 1. I blame it purely on the The Flash diverting attention of writers and creators away from Arrow. With that said Laurel is terrible though, and it's a huge mistake to make her Black Canary. I don't care about the comics... It hasn't worked so far. Just have be a lawyer who is dresses is bright clothes like how she was at Diggle's wedding. She looked great. Also most Thea subplots have missed the mark. |
Quote:
|
Diggle either needs a costume or they need to write him off. I dont care which
|
I really hate previews for next week shows. First the Flash spoiled Arrow, and now Arrow spoils Arrow.
I knew they weren't going to die tonight, but at the same time I didn't need to see them all alive in the previews for next week. Either way very enjoyable tonight. |
Yeah, it is "good"..... but this time last year was "amazing".
|
Oliver is making the LOA look worse than the Putty Patrol in MMPR.
|
Pretty weird how Laurel's training was so good that she has no problem taking on League members...
|
Well she did attend 3 whole boxing classes.
|
I really liked it, and I don't know where they are going with season 4.
I thought Oliver got his hand cut off on the bridge. |
Season 3 not as good as Season 2, but it's still good. Fight with Ra's wasn't nearly as good as the fight with Slade from last year. Or even the fight with Merlyn from season 1... Still the fight was good. However after the fight with Ra's on the mountain most of the fights in 2nd half of the season weren't up to par with with previous seasons. That has to get fixed.
I'm glad that Malcolm Merlyn is a full heel again. Oliver's reasoning for keeping Merlyn around makes some sense I guess, but it leads to heel Merlyn. I don't understand how Oliver doesn't say anything about him killing his own son along with 500 other people, but again it leads to heel Merlyn... So whatever Another criticism... Oliver suddenly kills too easily now. That's wasn't made a big enough Stephen Amell was really good this season. I knew he was going to have a career after Arrow ends, and he reconfirmed this season. He's going to be around for a while. |
Yeah, nowhere near the level of season 2, but still generally ok.
I am making a bold prediction and saying that HAL JORDAN and Green Lantern will be in season 4. The boat Oliver looked towards at the end of the Flashback storyline had Coast City on it, well known home of Hal Jordan. Last episode they introduced Ferris Air and said it was shut down when one of their test pilots disappeared. Therefore: I think that in Season 4 we will see Flashbacks with Oliver in Coast City, meeting Hal Jordan, possibly going on a Road Trip. Present day storyline could have him reappearing as the Green Lantern. |
Agree with the vibe that this season was not the best. Felt as though the finale should have been more.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that eventually the show's name will change to Green Arrow in some way or form. With "The Arrow" now gone, what will Oliver Queen do? The crossovers..........that's gotta stop. It was great when the show stood on it's own. I know CW is going for the monopoly for being the superhero network, but I don't wanna start watching other shows in order to be up to speed on my favorite show. |
|
lol
Also yeah I can't get over how Oliver supposedly got his hand chopped and then got shot at, but was absolutely fine a day later. The guy IS the Lazarus pit. |
It was his sword that got chopped, but it really looked like his hand at first.
Or at least to me it did. |
Just looked like his sword to me.
|
Yeah I think I'm one of the few that thought that.
So Sara Lance is coming back, and I don't think that's a spoiler now. So will Sara Lance go after Thea? I think she has to. In fact maybe she comes back and is going after Thea, and that brings Oliver out of retirement. I think the flashback's next year goes back the island pretty early. However befor that he might end up in Russia. |
Honestly, I think the main reason the show has gone massively downhill has been since he left the island. There was a large appeal to how he evolved from a massive faggot to a warrior on a secluded island, just mostly from trying to survive. Going to Japan, and especially back to Starling City to go to a party has been extremely boring/ridiculous, and the flashbacks make up like 25-30% of the episodes.
And I know it's a CW show and all but the driving off into the sunset in a sports car ending was embarrassing to watch in 2015. |
Need Slade Wilson back. If any villain were to get awkwardly shoehorned into the main cast, would rather have had Slade Wilson over Merlyn.
|
Slade was a better villain but every tv show needs more John Barrowman
|
They never should have taken the mirakuru away from Slade Wilson. Without mirakuru he's not that big of a threat. He needs to get the mirakuru back, and then they can work him in.
Also why didn't Raz Ah Ghul and the League of Assassin's work out that well? I really liked how Raz was portrayed, but still there was something missing with him. Makes me think making him and the league of assassin's more comic booky might not work in live action... Batman Begins might have had that right. Also I never liked the name League of Assassin's. League of Shadows is much better. |
Neal McDonough has been cast as Damien Darhk.
Star power like that, $5 will get you $10 he's probably the villain for season 4. Not a bad pick up. Loved him during his run on Justified. |

John Constantine, as played by Matt Ryan, confirmed to be appearing on Arrow this upcoming season.
Pretty sweet.... I didn't care for the Constantine TV show, but thought that Matt Ryan did good job in the part. I think I've said it before too, that I think the character of Constantine itself is better as a supporting/guest character instead of the main guy. I know he did have a 300 issue comic book series where he was the main guy, so I am probably wrong. Dunno. Haven't read most of it. And of what I have read, I have liked his supporting/guest spots in other comics better. |
I didn't watch any of Constantine so I can't say anything good or bad about it. However that's cool that's he's going to be on Arrow. I'm all for it.

Diggle is now Magneto, cool.
|
they're definitely casting/they definitely have casted someone else as mr terrific right? coz i'm kind of getting an 'inverse' vibe of the mr terrific face with the "T" shaped opening sort of
but yeah the magneto and juggernaut comparisons are right there for the taking |
They cast Mr. Terrific, yeah..... Forget who... some guy I never heard of...
I don't think my theory last year of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern being in this season is going to turn out right.... probably would have heard some casting/rumours by now.... |
yeah but they did just re-tease coast city in the promo material for s4 so they're being kind of dicks about it if they're just going to end up not bringing in hal in ~some~ capacity
|
Is a heel turn coming for Diggle?

damn, looks good. can feel the shift in tone even in the trailer. marked out bigtime for constantine's cameo. interesting to note the star city change, as well as the coast city thing - looks like ollie and flick have relocated there at the outset of the season. speedy looks awesome, damian dahrk seems like he could be good, introduction of magic and the supernatural/mysticism to arrow universe opens a lot of doors... dunno, definitely think they needed the 'clean break' to be able to 'begin again' as it were, more in line with what they've established really works in the flash |
What's with his voice at the end?
|
the "you're about to find out"?
nothing that he hasn't used when talking to captain lance and everyone else who didn't know his identity over the past three seasons tbh; i had to rewatch the trailer to see what you were talking about because it didn't jump out at me as being out of place the first time, sry |

Lol Coast City flashbacks
I'm going to miss the old suit. I know very little about Damien Dark or however you spell his name, but I'm looking forward to Neal McDonough. He's going to work well in the show. |
