Tony Khan said it was one of his favorite wrestlers and someone who can contribute a lot to the company. Both of those things are true.

But calling him a "major, major star" was always going to cause people to dream a lot bigger than Christian. Khan should've cooled his jets.

The Mat art in the middle is wicked.

The "Hall of Fame" worthy line ends up being a great one in hindsight because Christian not being in the HOF feels like an ongoing rib.

That said, the eventual podcast where Christian explains how WWE managed to lose him right after being in a Rumble will be a good one.

This is the best shot cinematic match I've seen so far.

AEW probably should have ditched the epic music for this cinematic street fight if commentary were going to be talking the whole time.
