Vietnamese Crippler 12-07-2007 02:21 AM

Yeah, we definitely need to set up our own league for this :o

Drakul 12-07-2007 02:27 AM

A TPWW SSBB League would be great but the European & Austrelian members wont be involved for a while. Nintendo has said SSBB wont get a PAL release until sometime after June 2008. So July at the earliest.

Vietnamese Crippler 12-07-2007 02:34 AM

Like we North Americans need you guys :shifty:

Drakul 12-07-2007 02:40 AM

Of course you need us. Who else can you brawl and annoy by assigning "USA! USA!" to every single taunt?

Funky Fly 12-07-2007 03:03 AM

Sexy time.

MTH15 12-07-2007 04:10 AM

Lol. Yea Im sure we can set that up. And post pics and vids and shit. This is gonna be awsome

Drakul 12-10-2007 02:04 AM

Bonsly

Why is this Pokémon named Bonsly? Those familiar with the world of Pokémon understand that while it appears to be a bonsai tree, Bonsly’s body is made up of rocks and stones.

Even if an opponent’s damage meter is below 50%, this thing packs enough power to potentially knock him or her off.

You may only get hit once in a while, but if you do, watch out!!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...08_071210f.jpg
Oh, and it’s not like it can’t be reflected.

MTH15 12-10-2007 02:51 AM

wtf IS THAT?

Vietnamese Crippler 12-10-2007 03:22 AM

It's a walking bonsai tree, what else :o

Rotation

Picture five or more players huddled around a Wii.

The number of people who can play is limited by the number of controllers that can connect. When that happens, you usually have the people who win or lose rotate out so that everyone gets a turn, right?

So be nice and give everybody a chance to play!

... ...That’s how I feel anyway, but just in case you need a little help being nice (and since everyone has their own controller preferences), I went ahead and rigged up a Rotation mode.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211a.jpg
This is the top menu for Group mode!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211b.jpg
First decide the number of controllers.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211c.jpg
Then get a count of people in the room with you
and enter that in.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211d.jpg
How many people per brawl?

You can set the rules to rotate out a set number of winners or losers from the brawl. Rotation doesn’t have to be about coming in first place.

If your group is on pretty equal footing with each other, go for Loser Swaps Out. If you’ve got some green players in your midst, why not start out with Winner Swaps Out?

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211e.jpg
It’s always useful to log your name.

But, hey, if it’s too much of a bother for you, you can play fine without it. Just as long as you remember your guest number, that is.

If a new player happens to come by during a Rotation match, you can add him or her to the group if you’re willing to head back to the name-entry screen.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211f.jpg
When your name comes up, press a button to confirm.

Press a button on the controller of your choice when your name pops up. That sets the controller you’ll use.

And of course, your control settings will be applied when you play.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...17_071211g.jpg
Need a bathroom break? Opt to sit out a match!

Even with numerous controllers and dozens of people lined up to play, you’ll be good to go if you use this mode!

... ... Well, not quite.

Rotation is limited to 16 players. Mm hmm.

Vietnamese Crippler 12-11-2007 02:33 AM

Ok... Don't think I'll ever have to use that mode, but ok :-\

Drakul 12-11-2007 02:36 AM

Same here.
I'm guessing these are filler updates because of the delay.

Vietnamese Crippler 12-11-2007 03:10 AM

Sucks knowing that instead of studying for finals right now, I could've been playing BRAWL :foc:

Funky Fly 12-11-2007 05:57 AM

My nephews and nieces will certainly use that a lot. They always lose track and leads to fighting.

Shadow 12-11-2007 12:04 PM

That is awsome taht it actually takes into consideration what controller you're using.

Drakul 12-12-2007 02:10 AM

Options

Here you can find these six areas.
  • Group
  • Solo
  • Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
  • Vault
  • Options
  • Data

Today, I’m going to introduce Options.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112b.jpg
All options are coloured purple.

Deflicker
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112c.jpg
Choose between graphics that are razor sharp
or nice and smooth.

This is... Well, it’s sort of hard to explain using only static shots, but try toggling it on and off on your own TV. Play with the setting that fits your taste.

Rumble
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112d.jpg
Set rumble separately
for Gamecube Controllers and Wii Remotes.

Toggle the proverbial buzz-buzz on your controllers on and off.

Just remember, the Classic Controller doesn’t have rumble, so don’t get too carried away.

You can also set rumble preferences for each logged name.

Sound
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112e.jpg
The slider goes left and right.

You can use this to adjust the balance between the game’s music and sound effects.

Oh, a sound test is also available from the first time you power the game on!

There’s quite a few songs available, so I’ve decided to also divide things up by category this time.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112g.jpg
You mean I can listen to sound effects from my favourite character as much as I want?

Erase Data
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...18_071112h.jpg
This is by far the most dangerous of the option modes.

Yeaaah... Don’t fiddle around with these options.

I mean it now. Don’t mess around on this screen.

No, seriously. I’m not playing here.

And that’s not all.

For more about these three, you can go over and check out their individual pages.

Each of these modes is designed to let you tweak the game to match your own preferences, but obviously you don’t have to mess around with these options if you don’t feel like it.

Relax and enjoy.

Drakul 12-12-2007 02:11 AM

Second update is music for the Ice Climbers.

The option updfate just proves my filler update thing.

Funky Fly 12-12-2007 02:27 AM

Well, their update schedule is being fucked up by delays. BTW, I have to wonder about how much stuff is actually hidden in this game. I mean, they've shown us just about everything at this point, right down to the options.

MTH15 12-12-2007 06:04 PM

lol, I anymore characters gonna be in?

Funky Fly 12-12-2007 06:29 PM

Obviously there are going to be hidden shits, but just how much ish other than hidden characters will be left to be discovered before the game is out?

Drakul 12-13-2007 02:02 AM

Mario Circuit

The Mario Circuit stage appears! Of course, we HAVE shown it briefly in past movies...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...19_071213a.jpg
This popular series makes an impressive debut.

It’s a figure-of-eight course, and you do battle at the crossing of the 8.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...19_071213b.jpg
There are even grandstands in places you can’t see!

It hurts when the karts racing around the track hit you. They come in from the side and from the back of the screen, so be careful.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...19_071213c.jpg
When they come from the back, and you are on the lower level, look out.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...19_071213d.jpg
When they come from the side, and you are on the upper level, look out.

The karts are serious about their race. You can get a general idea of their location on the screen at the back, so pay attention to it.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...19_071213e.jpg
You can actually make them wipe out, too.

Funky Fly 12-13-2007 02:20 AM

The successor of the F-Zero X tracks? Nice.

Hopefully they keep those ones tho. They were the shit.

I think the F-Zero track will be Big Blue with the cars right under you. Mario Kart seems to have taken Mute Citys place.

Funky Fly 12-13-2007 02:42 AM

I know, but I like them both. Mute city was great because the stage kept changing.

Drakul 12-13-2007 02:46 AM

Yeah. The Mario Kart stage makes a bit of a change from most of the stages in Brawl which seem to change a lot.

Funky Fly 12-13-2007 02:51 AM

If they can fit it all, I'd like every stage to return.

Drakul 12-13-2007 03:06 AM

I'd normally think that wanting all the previous stages in would be asking a lot but they seem to be crowbarring a lot into the game anyway so they would be as well putting most of the old stages back.

Funky Fly 12-13-2007 03:30 AM

They managed to cram a crap load of stuff into the limited Gamecube mini discs, so why not now in a full blown disc?

Cooler Tom Schuler 12-13-2007 09:59 PM

All options are coloured purple.

MTH15 12-13-2007 10:26 PM

Stafy

This character, the prince of the heavenly seas, appeared in the Japan-only release "Densetsu no Stafy". He’s shaped like a star, but maybe he’s really a starfish???

...He never says anything like that.

He’s rare for an Assist Trophy, as he can be attacked.

Sometimes you may wonder "Stafy, why did you even come here?!" – but that’s part of his charm.

Drakul 12-14-2007 02:12 AM

Waluigi

The fact that he’s an Assist Trophy means he won’t be appearing as a playable character, but...

Characters that suffer his stomping get embedded in the dirt.

Waluigi keeps on stomping, punishing his foe persistently with successive blows. As should be expected from Waluigi.

Never forget to finish off those who are helpless to resist. Such a philosophy should really be expected from Waluigi.

Blitz 12-14-2007 02:21 AM

Waluigi stomps a mudhole and walks that sumbitch dry.

Funky Fly 12-14-2007 02:29 AM

lol

Drakul 12-15-2007 01:46 AM

According to IGN, Europe is getting a February release.
http://uk.wii.ign.com/objects/748/748545.html check the release date under the boxart. IGN is usually pretty reliable, right?

Vietnamese Crippler 12-15-2007 02:55 AM

Their release dates are ok, but I tend to not mark my calendar by their dates.

MTH15 12-16-2007 06:05 PM

This game is gonna be played for 5 years from me

Drakul 12-17-2007 02:11 AM

Co-op Events

This time, Event matches can be played in two-player mode! Wow. This is a great game for couples.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217a.jpg
When you press the Player 2 button here...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217b.jpg
The two-player Events begin!

These are not battles – they’re co-operative play. So, you tackle the challenge of each Event together.

There are fewer two-player Events than single-player ones, but they each have different settings than the single-player matches.

Two Trouble Kings
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217c.jpg
Characters: Mario, Kirby
Battle togother against Bowser and King Dedede!
This is a proper 2-on-2 match.

Master the Pokémon Tag Battle
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217d.jpg
Characters: Pokémon Trainer, Pikachu
This features Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, and one Pikachu.
It’s a tag battle with pretty much equal teams!

Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217e.jpg
Characters: Yoshi, King Dedede
See who can defeat the most enemies in just 10 seconds!!

ALL MINE!
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217f.jpg
Characters: Wario, Bowser
C-could this be a Coin battle?! With lots of notes...

That reminds me, there are Coin battles this time around, too. When you launch an opponent, you collect their money. The player with the most money at the end wins.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217g.jpg
The fact that it isn’t bloodthirsty is nice.

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier that you can play Target Smash!! with two players simultaneously as well!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...19_071217h.jpg
Oh! I see! Delegation of duties is important!

Funky Fly 12-17-2007 02:18 AM

Nice.

Drakul 12-17-2007 02:20 AM

Now all I have to do is convince someone to play co-op with me.

Vietnamese Crippler 12-17-2007 05:56 AM

Loose Cannon 12-17-2007 09:56 AM

Frigate Orpheon

This appears in Metroid Prime. It’s the first spaceship Samus infiltrates.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...20_071218a.jpg
What you see in the background is the Parasite Queen.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...20_071218b.jpg
Th-the power went out?!

For a spaceship that just causes trouble, it sure does have a lot of problems.

But what really defines this stage is the way it rotates 180 degrees.

When the siren goes off, jump into the air to flee.

But when you’re in a pinch, so is your opponent. Stall your opponent to take advantage!

Drakul 12-18-2007 02:04 AM

The 2nd update today is music from Mother 3. Porky's Theme.

Drakul 12-19-2007 02:10 AM

Team Healer

This item has absolutely no relevance for those who normally just play free-for-all brawls. But not knowing how to use the item would be problematic, so I’ll just explain it.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219b.jpg
You might be able to imagine what it is from its name...

Before I get ahead of myself, I must explain that this game features a Team Battle mode.

For example, this function allows people to break into teams of two and do battle when four people are playing.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219c.jpg
There are three team colours: red, green and blue.

And the Team Healer has absolutely no function if you’re on your own.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219d.jpg
If you pick it up, you just hold it. It doesn’t do anything.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219e.jpg
But, if you throw it at your ally...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219f.jpg
...your ally’s damage meter gets replenished!

The higher your damage meter, the more you recover.

But, if you don’t alert each other, you may not hit your team-mate.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...13_071219g.jpg
And occasionally,
it may cause an opponent to recover damage instead...

Drakul 12-20-2007 02:02 AM

Kirby: Special Moves

The move that symbolises Kirby is none other than his standard special move, Inhale!

He’s able to copy an enemy’s ability (by which I mean, their standard special move) and use it as his own.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/chara...by_071220a.jpg
When he inhales a foe and swallows...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/chara...by_071220b.jpg
...he copies his opponent’s ability!

Subspace Emissary Movie

We created a movie introducing one of the game’s modes – Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary.

Enjoy it like you would a preview at the cinema!

Vietnamese Crippler 12-21-2007 02:02 AM

That looks like it's going to be awesome

Drakul 12-21-2007 02:12 AM

I liked it. Good end to a good week.

Savio 12-21-2007 09:08 PM

bad week I want character updates!

Overalls Wario

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/chara...io_071224a.jpg
This is the standard Wario found in Smash.

Everyone can change colours, of course. But Wario alone is special...

There may be some people who prefer this one. This is the "classic" Wario.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/chara...io_071224c.jpg
Flab is poking out from his sides...

Choose him just like you would any of the other characters. This outfit appears after the six standard colour variations.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/chara...io_071224d.jpg
Press the X or Y Button, or poke the pattern to change colours.

What’s more, this version has its own colour variations. What a bonus!

Lock Jaw 12-24-2007 02:44 AM

Sweet. I like the original Wario look better than biker-Wario. Maybe they'll have Ness be an alternate of Lucas, since they're basically the same almost.

Drakul 12-25-2007 02:02 AM

Sonic: Final Smash

Super Sonic

When talking about Sonic’s Final Smash, there is no other option than Super Sonic!

Use the power of the Chaos Emeralds to transform. Race through the air at reckless speed!

He has tremendous inertia and is hard to control, but his top speed is top class!

Those who are witnessing this move should plan on dodging!

If you boost your speed recklessly, you’ll pass by people too quickly, making it easier for them to dodge.

Speed control is important with this Final Smash.

Drakul 12-25-2007 02:04 AM

The 2nd update today is music for Sonics stage in Brawl. The music is from Angel Island Zone.

Merry Christmas BTW.

Savio 12-25-2007 11:21 AM

@ last line: maybe Knuckles is an alternate costume for Sonic?

Drakul 12-25-2007 11:26 AM

A few people over at GameFAQS and the UKs Official Nintendo Magazine forums think it could mean Knuckles will be playable as a seperate character.

MTH15 12-25-2007 10:46 PM

I would use knuckles all the time

Drakul 12-26-2007 02:21 AM

Trophy Stands

Among the many trophies are some representing the enemies that appear in The Subspace Emissary.

But they cannot be acquired easily.

You must turn the enemies directly into trophies to get them! The item you need to do this is a trophy stand.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...11_071226b.jpg
Basically, it’s the stand the trophy rests on.

When an enemy appears, you need to significantly weaken it.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...11_071226c.jpg
Pay attention to the damage meter at the top-left corner
of the screen.

If you’re lucky enough to have a trophy stand, throw it at your enemy after you’ve weakened it!

Now you get the trophy. Whoa! What’s happened?! You could say this is only possible because of the setting of the Smash world.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...11_071226g.jpg
You can then view that trophy in your trophy gallery!

Perhaps the trophy descriptions will give you some insight into the back story of The Subspace Emissary...

Of course, you can also do this to get boss trophies.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...11_071226h.jpg
Yes! I’m definitely gonna get you today!

Since you can’t get these trophies if you don’t have a trophy stand, pure skill is not enough – it requires a little luck, too.

I’ll make it so you’ll somehow be allowed to fight the bosses even after you’ve already cleared the game, so it’s OK if you don’t hunt all these trophies down in the first battle.

MTH15 12-26-2007 02:28 AM

This is gonna be sweet

Drakul 12-26-2007 02:29 AM

I'm guessing there will be a Boss Battle mode or something. Maybe like a Survival type match. One boss after another until you die. That way you can keep trying until you get the trophy stand.

Vietnamese Crippler 12-26-2007 04:22 AM

That is an awesome way to get trophies :y:

Drakul 12-27-2007 02:11 AM

Coin Launcher

In the last game, you dropped the coins you collected into a prize-dispensing machine for a chance to win trophies. That was fine and all, but I got to thinking that there wasn’t really any strategy involved.

So this time, I dropped the crane game. Instead, you’ll be earning your trophies in THIS kind of game!

I’m gonna have you play every inch of this game!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...20_071227b.jpg
That option on the right is the entrance to the Coin Launcher.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...20_071227c.jpg
That’s the launcher at the bottom.

Tilt left and right to change the angle of the launcher and press the button to roll coins out. Basically, the coins themselves are your bullets.

The trophies move, so shoot, shoot, shoot them before they get away. If you land a few shots on a trophy, it will be yours.

When you defeat formations of smaller enemies, you earn stickers and bonuses. When your green gauge fills up, it becomes possible to shoot coins rapid-fire for a short time.

Shoot the missiles down. If a missile strikes, your coin count will decrease!

Press the Cancel Button to quit. The trophies and stickers you got this time will be displayed.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...20_071227i.jpg
The green ones are trophies. The red ones are stickers.

The more you play the other modes, the more coins you’ll earn for the Coin Launcher. You can even earn them in Spectator mode.

If you want even more coins, your best bet is to invite some friends over to play. The more people you play with, the more coins you’ll earn.

Wow. I mean, I would have considered a Wii is Fatal Frame IV was Wii-exclusive, but this game looks awesome.

Dragoon

It is said that if you collect all three parts, you will complete the legendary Air Ride machine...

It’s broken into three parts:
Dragoon Part A, the nose cone...
Dragoon Part B, the hull...
and Dragoon Part C, the tail.

Of course, given the amount of preparation required, it boasts tremendous firepower! If it strikes you, consider it a one-hit KO.

The battle for this item is hot.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items...14_071228g.jpg
When you get one of the Dragoon parts, these icons appear!

Hit an opponent who has one of the Dragoon parts to make them drop it. You also drop the parts when you lose a life. If you want to get a part in hand, then beat up your opponent!

The same can be said for Smash Balls – those, too, are items that everyone really wants badly, so the scramble can be quite funny!

The joy of finally getting all three. Your enemies doing whatever they can to flee. It’s like we’ve added a delicious new spice, so I hope you’ll enjoy it during multiplayer matches.

I have a request for the many people who want to play over Wi-Fi! The first time you play the Wi-Fi modes, please be sure to set the Smash Service to ON.

If you don’t turn this Smash Service on, you won’t receive any data! I ask that you take great care not to forget this step.

Data Sent by Nintendo
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228c.jpg
Choose Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

In order to receive data sent by Nintendo, you need to first choose Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection mode.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228d.jpg
You connect without incident. When you confirm the message...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228e.jpg
..data appears in the applicable mode!

Things that have "Download" written on them were sent by Nintendo.

Now, downloaded data from Nintendo will gradually be overwritten, so there’s no need to worry about your Wii console’s memory running out.

Data Sent by a Friend
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228f.jpg
Whoa. A lot of stuff arrived. Nice.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228g.jpg
When something arrives, you’ll get a message on your Wii Message Board.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228h.jpg
When you start up the game...

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228i.jpg
...the data will be in its respective places.

Now, since this data comes from your friends, this is where you have to watch your remaining save memory! If the remaining free space on your Wii System Memory is running low, you won’t be able to receive the data. Move old data to an SD card or erase it.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...05_071228j.jpg
You can also send data to multiple friends at once.

It’s difficult to put the joy of being able to exchange snapshots and stages into words. I certainly hope you will all enjoy it.

Drakul 01-04-2008 11:34 AM

Gamefaqs has the usual bunch of "insiders" saying so-and-so is in and so-and-so isn't. There is info on the internet from a recent event called JumpFesta or something. Turns out there is a soccor ball from Mario Strikers and sand bag are both items.

Drakul 01-04-2008 01:29 PM

Heres some of the info gathered from that JumpFesta thing. Contains AT and Item spoilers.

Quote:

- Pk freeze of Lucas is easier to control than Pk flash from Ness of SSBM
- The soccer ball, when used, will move very fast and flames will appear around it. (kinda like a Super Strike of the Mario Strikers series). the ball cannot be countered or caught in any way. If it is homing still remains unknown.
- The watch (clock?) item will slow down your oponent. how it is activated is not known. The article states that the user can be slowed down by this item too in some rare occasion.
- Kirby's final smash deals about 35% damage to all players
- The mines Snake can bury are not detonated if a player steps on them. The player must press a button to detonate them. Which button must be pressed is still unknown.
- Kirby's attacks seem to deal more damage than they did in SSBM
- Wario seems to be in the top tier, his strength is huge, but he seems to be rather slow. Kinda like Ganondorf of SSBM.
- Pegasus knight of the Fire emblem series is an assist trophy, also the song "The Kingdom of Bern" seems to be in SSBB.
- Rosalina of Super Mario Galaxy is also an assist trophy. She seems to float around and drop starbits, which heal some damage when picked up.
- Regigigas, Metagross, Onix and Garchomp are Pokéball appearances. Metagross seems to use earthquake, Onix seems to use the same he did in SSB64 and Regigigas seems to use Crush grip.
- Pokémon trainer and Pit seem to use voice acting. For example, when a pokémon of the trainer uses an attack, the pokémon trainer would shout something like "take that" or "triple finish".
- Zelda's Din's fire is less powerfull than it was in SSBM

Melee Stages: Part 2

There was already an entry detailing how we’ve brought back some of the stages from Super Smash Bros. Melee...

So here are some more stages that can also be played in Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/image...world_w_11.gifYoshi’s Island
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107a.jpg
The steep slopes on either side are its defining characteristic.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107b.jpg
That central platform screams "accident!"

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/image...world_w_03.gifCorneria
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107c.jpg
Battle atop the Great Fox!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107d.jpg
Of course, Arwings come flying in, too.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/image...world_w_07.gifOnett
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107e.jpg
The offensive and defensive struggles on the buildings of Onett return!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107f.jpg
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Watch out for cars.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/image...world_w_06.gifBrinstar
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107g.jpg
It’s the dreaded, legendary ocean of acid!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107h.jpg
The rising and falling ocean of acid changes the field of play greatly.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/image...world_w_10.gifRainbow Ride

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107i.jpg
Tour the course in this forced scrolling stage.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/stage...21_080107j.jpg
The boat sinks mid-trip and you embark on a roundabout tour!

This is amazing! Is this a lavish feast or what? I can tell you that for everyone working on this game, the amount of content has been surprising to say the least.

Savio 01-07-2008 02:14 PM

I hated yoshis board

Drakul 01-07-2008 11:03 PM

I thought Yoshis Island was a good stage. I wasn't so keen on Rainbow Ride though.

Savio 01-07-2008 11:24 PM

I like Capt F second stage but not rainbow road.

STADIUM: Multi-Man Brawl

Dive into a ruthless battle with an army of enemy pawns: the Multi-Man Brawl!

Multi-Man Brawl hosts a wealth of different brawls, including the widely recognised 100-man Brawl.

Speaking of the Multi-Man Brawl, what could the enemy team of fighters be this time around? It’s the Fighting Alloy Team!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...21_080108b.jpg
Red Alloy! He’s not the leader or anything!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...21_080108c.jpg
Blue Alloy! For some reason she seems kind of gentle.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...21_080108d.jpg
Yellow Alloy! These horns are scintillating!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/gamem...21_080108e.jpg
Green Alloy! It may look like Kirby, but it’s not him!

If it’s a 100-Man Brawl, then you continue fighting until you’ve beaten 100 of them. Destroying so many really cleanses the spirit.

This time, we’ve added a much desired mode...

Two-player Multi-Man Brawls!

With two of you watching each other’s backs, it’s that much more fun. But that’s not all!

There’s a mode for playing with a friend over Nintendo WFC!

We’ve included online Team Multi-Man Brawl!

Don’t you want to co-operate sometimes instead of just fighting each other? That’s what this is for.

Drakul 01-08-2008 02:03 AM

Pretty sure Red Alloy is Captain Falcon, Blue Alloy is Zelda, Yellow Alloy is Animal Crosser (he wore a hat with horns and is roughly the same size) and Green Alloy is Kirby.

Drakul 01-09-2008 02:07 AM

Warning! Challenger Approaching!

Pikmin & Olimar

Goodness! Captain Olimar joins the fray with five colours of Pikmin in tow! He plucks Pikmin from the ground and they fight as his allies.

Without Pikmin, Olimar can’t even do a Smash Attack. And the short-lived Pikmin tend to scatter. Theirs is a fated symbiotic relationship.

Drakul 01-09-2008 02:11 AM

The 2nd update was music. The Pikmin World Map.

Extreme Angle 01-09-2008 02:51 AM
