It's fairly obvious that's the set-up they have here. Rick has to be the goody-good while Shane plays the foil. Only in the event of Shane's death would they darken up Rick. And yeah, it would take something happening to Lori or Carl to reach that point. |

Damn good midseason finale. Loved how after all the rest of them were slaughtering zombies so easily Rick was the only one with the guts to put Sophia down.
