No way they just cut Peyton fucking Manning. Classless if so.

Too expensive to keep him and the 3 surgeries in a year seems to be the main reasons.

He was owed $28 million in bonuses alone to go along with his $20+ million per year contract (4 years left). The three surgeries was due to each one having complications so no guarantees he wouldn't need a 4th one once the season got under way.

There were rumors weeks ago about Luck not willing to be a backup QB if the Colts took him and the mess with management sort of left a sour image on Peyton.

Fuck Luck if he is "Refusing" to back anyone up when is isnt even in the NFL yet. Starting to go Eli and buy into his own pre draft hype.

You guys see amazing statistics and singular awards, and I see a guy who would lose AFC Divisional and Championship games, who rode an inspired Defense (Bob Sanders Freeney and Mathis specifically) to SB Title; and cost his team a second when the pressure was on him to deliver(pick six to the saints). Is he good? yes. Is he Great? hmmm, maybe. Is he the best ever? no. either way I"m not a fan.
