I hope Don West has a safe space right now. Don't want him to go insane with great deals.

Drew Galloway has been removed from the BFG card and will be replaced by Eddie Edwards in the Impact Grand Championship final due to injury. That's if there is a BFG.

Anybody Thrilla 09-30-2016 08:23 PM

The same Eddie Edwards that just lost to Zema Ion on Impact?

Simple Fan 09-30-2016 08:24 PM

Yep.

Simple Fan 09-30-2016 08:25 PM

I think he was the one Drew beat in the similar finals.

Anybody Thrilla 09-30-2016 08:46 PM

He was. I was actually watching that.

Simple Fan 09-30-2016 09:08 PM

Well Drew says he will be there. Try and stop him.

Moments ago it was reported that top TNA star Drew Galloway had been officially removed from this Sunday’s big Bound for Glory pay-per-view, where he was set to face off against Aron Rex (former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow) to crown the first ever Impact Grand Championship.

Galloway took to Twitter just before the announcement became official and threatened TNA doctors and officials, telling them to “try and stop me” from being at Sunday’s event. The former world champion has been one of the key players for the promotion in 2016, and his loss on this weekend’s show is a major blow for TNA, who is still battling through speculation and rumor that the show may not even go on as planned. It is likely they will try and bring Galloway into the match in some kind of angle, if not in a wrestling capacity, than just to get him on the show.

Let's not forget that time when TNA were assholes and robbed a man of $5,000 and him and his tag team partner of their jobs.

According to the Observer its not just Dixie who is rumored to be sabotaging Corgan's attempts to buy the company.

TNA's Vice President John Gaburick was also rumored to be involved and the main reason due to him beliving he's getting fired the moment Corgan owns the company. He played a big role in getting the WWE involved for talks and trying to persuade the WWE to give him a job if they buy the company.

Droford 09-30-2016 09:28 PM

Dudes getting fired either way

He was in WWE around 2005/2006 (I think), but got released shortly after being filmed in the crowd at a TNA event.

Dick move from TNA to film him for so long and let everyone know about it. Also kinda a dick move for WWE to fire him for it.

Anybody Thrilla 10-01-2016 06:42 AM

Also kind of a dumb move to be there on his part.

The Highlanders were...well, they were a team. I'll say that about them.

Rammsteinmad 10-01-2016 06:53 AM

I work for Asda, but that doesn't stop me from shopping in Tesco.

I guess when you're a professional entertainer on a worldwide televised show, it's a different angle. But still... they wouldn't have fired him if it was an NFL game.

Aw well. They were never that good anyway. :p

Rammsteinmad 10-01-2016 06:53 AM

Also, this thread is amazing! I kinda want WWE to buy TNA now, and just release a Rise-and-Fall DVD, with a whole segment dedicated to stupid clips like these.

XL 10-01-2016 06:57 AM

In fairness you could do exactly the same with WWE.

so does bound for glory happen or not if so does it start with gaburick in the ring and all the wrestlers come out and beat the crap out of him

I really liked them. :(

Cool King 10-01-2016 08:42 AM

Though it's probably because they're Scottish.

There's some bias from me there I guess.

DAMN iNATOR 10-01-2016 12:13 PM

I too, like Cool King, enjoyed RORY! AND ROBBIE! McAllister as The Highlanders in WWE...always cracked me up when they'd scream their names "I'M RORY!" "AND I'M ROBBIE!" Unfortunately no matches they had really ever stood out to me.

I too feel that I could be slightly biased in this due to having Scottish ancestry...may have also been a big part of why I really enjoyed Drew McIntyre pre-"3MB" and foolishly thought he would be a future WWE Champion.

TNA will be greatly missed by the TLP podcasters.

All kinds of "wrestling news" sites saying that an "unidentified third-party" has come forward and made sure TNA will at least be able to go on with BFG this weekend and possibly tapings for TV as well, and that sales talks will resume next week.

Doesn't seem like Corgan bought the company or at least a majority of it from Dixie. Nor did the WWE according to PWI.

Ooooh. The "anonymous donor" route.

The plot thickens.
