Danielson loves to wrestle, he's wrestled almost every week since his debut. That's pretty cool.
The opener was really good, some great spots and keeps the stories going. If Punk is now done with Team Taz then I'd really like to see a build where maybe Punk steps in to take Christians place in this feud at least for the amount of time to get that Punk & Danielson vs Bucks Match. TNT Championship was good. Bobby Fish has some really good offense, I thought the match was a bit too long for the lack of heat the match had going in but still they did a good job. Dante Martin's promo was promising, Malakai Black and Martin should be a good match. I liked that segment a lot. The Arn segment at Cody's house made me LOL but I loved it. I know there keeps being articles about how Cody won't turn heel, but I'm thinking that just part of the work and eventually Cody will turn. Maybe against Brock Anderson? Or maybe they turn Arn and Brock, IDK. Serena Deeb is a good worker but she looks a bit ridiculous out there. Shida is awesome. CM Punk needs a big program now, time to stop with this promo style every week. TBS Championship will take some getting used to for me because I think it sounds odd. Darby/Commorato was good. The Ladder Match was ridiculous, fun and awesome. Insane spots, Hangman's moment was golden and Mox/Archer in particular came off very well. Shame that Matt Hardy didn't win this one but I think he's got something special up his sleeve! |

It is a problem when they sign every Bobby Fish. Definitely not an issue signing D-Bry and pushing him. There is a definite double standard at play.

I kinda enjoy seeing "WWE" guys not wrestling a "WWE" style just to see what else they offer. Diversifying your portfolio is paramount to success. |

I would argue the finish was the worst of all, especially when you consider that the EVPs allegedly no longer have creative control. Because that means either the report was bullshit (a fair assessment). Or worse, the report was true, and having the Bucks, Omega, and Cole standing victorious over Bryan Fucking Danielson, Christian fucking Cage, Dinosaur Man, and Luke Perry's Uncharismatic son in the manner that made them all look like chumps was pitched to Tony Khan, and Tony Khan THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD FUCKING IDEA!
If anything, I get the report now. They leaked it out because they fucking knew that this shit would look self indulgent to anyone who isn't in the bubble. The optics of a match with 3 EVPs burying one of the biggest gets in wrestling is just astonishing. I guess the only thing Khan argued against was them doing the quadruple team move to Danielson. |
