Mike Williams should be there when they pick. If they were going to trade up it should be to get Braylon.

Right now, it should go like this...
1. 49ers - Aaron Rodgers
2. Dolphins - Ronnie Brown
3. Browns - Alex Smith
4. Bears - Braylon Edwards (Most likely trade down and let somebody else have him)
5. Buc's - Cedric Benson
6. Titans - Pac Man
7. Vikings - Derrick Johnson
8. Cardinals - Cadillac
9. Redskins - Mike Williams
10. Lions - Dan Cody

My bad, I came back to this browser and it was still there so I assumed the reply didn't work.

Not to mention Corey Fuller is 80, and Dale Carter probably retired, and I don't know if Deion is coming back, but talk about a bunch of old guys.

Whichever the case, they only had one good corner left. I don't think Raymond Walls is going to shut anyone down.

MoRcHeEbA 03-08-2005 02:06 PM

lol appearently Burress didn't go to visit the giants yesterday saying he had the flu and was then spotted in Miami with McCombs.

OssMan 03-08-2005 03:57 PM

Well thats not really a big deal considering that he was scheduled to leave from miami anyway

I was annoyed about that. Burress has a meeting with the Giants Wednesday though.http://tpww.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

So far the Giants have been pretty active, maybe the most so far out of any team with the signings of McKenzie, Miller, Pierce and Feely.

Innovator 03-08-2005 05:28 PM

yeah Burress had the flu *hungover*

the Giants are doing what they needed to do, especially since we don't have a first round pick.

OssMan 03-08-2005 06:54 PM

who is miller

BCWWF 03-08-2005 06:57 PM

The point guard on the Nuggets

AlphaBean 03-08-2005 06:59 PM

Hahaha it's Jim Miller, loser QB. Don't know why anyone would care.

ANYWAY

It sounds like Fred Smoot is a Viking. DUNNO YET.

Gonzo 03-08-2005 07:24 PM

Jim Miller, more or less someone to fill out the depth chart.

Thats a pretty big understatement. Those are two legit shutdown corners

And they just have one of the best of all time in the defensive backfield (even though he is mad old football wise, and just plays nickle back) for shits and giggles

MoRcHeEbA 03-09-2005 01:13 AM

yeah god damn if Baltimore had an offense they would be killer.

BCWWF 03-09-2005 01:22 AM

The updated ESPN draft predictions go as follows

1. 49ers - Alex Smith
2. Dolphins - Ronnie Brown
3. Browns - Aaron Rodgers
4. Bears - Cedric Benson
5. Bucs - Cadillac Wilson
6. Titans - Pac Man
7. Vikings - Braylon Edwards
8. Cardinals - Derrick Johnson
9. Redskins - Mike Williams

Another one they just put up had the Bears taking Braylon, the Vikes taking Mike Williams, and the Cards taking Cedric, that seems more realistic to me. I could see Benson and Fitzgerald dominating in the future.

MoRcHeEbA 03-09-2005 01:31 AM

k this might be a little out of left field but does anyone think that perhaps the Browns take Pac Man (as they signed dilfer for 4 years today and have two good young QB's) but where would this leave Rodgers if that's who everyone thinks they're gonna take? how far do you think Rodgers would fall and who would Tennesse take if Pac Man wassn't available to them?

BCWWF 03-09-2005 10:42 AM

Tennessee is a complete hole for me, the only reason I think they will take Pac Man is because thats what the experts keep saying. They dropped so many guys I don't know what they need.

All that needs to happen is Boller needs to improve a bit. A better Boller + Jamal Lewis + Derrick Mason = above average.

Innovator 03-10-2005 03:05 PM

he wanted more fucking money...bastard

MoRcHeEbA 03-10-2005 03:30 PM

I don't really understand why he didn't get a contract like Muhammad's apart from last year he's always put up decent numbers... OH WELL Giants loss can be the vikings gain.

Nervous Ferret 03-10-2005 03:49 PM

Giants didn't get Burress. HAHA....Dunno guess he'll be a Viking? Unless someone swoops in at the last second.

Gonzo 03-10-2005 03:58 PM

Fuck him then, greedy bastard. Thats pretty bad. Wanting to play one year to throw up some statistics to increase his own self worth. Doesn't seem like a team player in that respect.

Nervous Ferret 03-10-2005 04:00 PM

Somebody got shaftedddddddddddd

AlphaBean 03-10-2005 06:24 PM

He's been hanging out in Miami with Pep.

The thing with him is, he may not be a team player, he may play for the money, but it's not all about the money. He does what it takes to earn the money. He keeps his mouth shut and works hard so he can get paid. Everyone plays for money in the NFL.

But if he's talking to Pep,, that means they will get along great. YAY.

Rain Man 03-16-2005 06:26 PM

Burgess went to the Raiders...

MoRcHeEbA 03-16-2005 06:34 PM

there goes their superbowl chances.

Rain Man 03-16-2005 07:57 PM

Miek McMahon is talking with the Eagles. Better back up than Koy Boy

Yeah, but Carson Palmer has to get the ball to Chad Johnson FIRST.

SammyG 03-16-2005 11:39 PM

YES, pace resigns with the rams.. that woulda sucked ass if we woulda lost him, the line is weak as it is

Well he had 700 yards against the Ravens last year so I wouldn't worry about it.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-17-2005 04:14 AM

and Rudi signed a long term deal

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Innovator 03-17-2005 11:47 PM

PLAXICO SIGNS WITH BIG BLUE

BCWWF 03-17-2005 11:55 PM

Personally I think we are better without him, even if we don't take Braylon or Mike in the playoffs. We have a solid WR core and three outstanding running backs
