I'm not saying for sure, just that it's a possibility.
|
Not really looking forward to Kate's flashback.
|
God.
This sounds like a downer episode today. |
I bet sawyer is the con man that screwed the chick that is gonna help kate

It's not a dinosuar, it's made of smoke.

DAMNIT BLITZ..... well it sounds like one... and wtf with the light thing?
|
Yeah Blitz. That's what I've always thought, either Predator or T-Rex was on that island. Instead we got Will O' The Wisp.
Thinking Juliet gets sent in as The Others' op/spy. She pulled off some sweet moves on kate on the opening. Now where did Locke go? If I were Sawyer, I would have killed Hurley. |
Yeah they are pretty dumb for trusting Juliet. Good question about Locke. Guess we won't find out what happened between him and his father for a while.
I wasn't expecting much out of this episode, but it was pretty good. Love seeing the monster again. |
Did anyone else think this episode was a lot like those old WIP movies that Tarantino jizzes himself over? Two girls on the run from the law, stickin' together. Then the two girls cuffed together, fighting, falling in mud... It was like Katesploitation this week.
I'm just not all that impressed with Kate's backstory. Decent episode tonight, and I liked the Sawyer subplot. I'm definitely intrigued with where they're going with the Locke story. But I just really don't care about Kate anymore, other than the fact that she's hot. She's become a pretty one-note character. I was hoping tonight would get me back into her but it was just more of the same. |
i didnt like the kate's mom angle
|
Yeah, pretty good episode with the exception of Kate's flashback.
|
Oh, and now that the village is empty, all the survivors should just move in there.
|
They should change the name of the show to 'Jack, Kate, Sawyer and the rest of the Scrubs stuck on an Island.'
Or maybe just 'Sawyer and the Lost Crew' would work. If he's not a main focus of whatever the main story arc is then he's hogging all the screen time in the secondary story arc, such as tonight getting conned to be nice to everyone. This wasn't so bad when his character was interesting and he was a stubborn dick. Now that he's been completely pussified, it's pretty stupid. He can't gut a fish so he agrees to make amends with everyone? Whatever. I think the writers totally forgot that they have another 6 to 8 people to focus on storyline wise. The episodes themselves seem to be gaining steam, but for fuck's sake, I hope they remember the rest of the ensemble of an ensemble cast. |
OMG awesome ep
"See you in a week"!!! |
indeed... very good ep
|
Yeah, I called this last week.
Strange, I saw Terry O'Quinn in the credits. But no sign of him this time around. I guess it's game on next week. |
Answers and a cliffhanger ending. Good stuff.
|
yes, I mentioned before that I find Juliet's character interesting along with Locke, Sawyer, Ben, Desmond and Jack but I am really digging her backstory and overall she is an excellent addition, and a pretty good actress too. Kate is OK but Juliet is definately the dominant female on Lost.
great episode tonight, loved the end. |
Ok, when the fuck are people gonna start realizing that Sayid is always fucking right haha. Second, Locke needs to go. He's as useless as a screen door on a submarine and he just turned into the biggest dickhead/fuck up on the show. Sawyer needs his balls back and Jack needs to get a grip and stop being such a pansy.
P.S. that shot of Juliet eating ice cream with her naked back facing the camera  |
she kinda had a weird look on her face tho when she got done talking to benjamin... and she threw the gas mask so maybe shes working against the others
|
I think she's having reservations about her role as a spy or whatever. Thinking about turning to the survivor's side.
|
Good stuff. God, I just want to smack Juliet. She's so smug and shit. I love how Sayid was like "Cut the bullshit, gimme answers or I will kill your ass." I wish he and Sawyer didn't back down, but I think they did it more for Claire than worry about having a guilty conscience.
Desmond next week  |

"Dammit, Sawyer! There's no time!" |
Lovin the season so far. Esp the Desmond storyline. What I want to know is this; the presence of the old woman, she was more or less a guide to him in the past, where he was reliving days he already has, and she was explaining no matter how much he tries, he cannot stop 'course correction'.
Now for a long time I have thought that there is a force (a person, group or power) above that of Ben and Jacob and The Others. Purely for the fact he doesn't have all the answers, he is not invincible, and the mystery of the monster and the fact that all of these people crashed on the island together. So this old woman, is she part of a body or power that knows what has happened to Desmond after turning the key? She was there in the past with him and understands whats at stake, who is she? where she come from? Also just seen the preview clips for the next episode, 'something is coming' - Maybe Penny with rescue? Maybe an other force coming to get rid of the losties once and for all? I read a theory somewhere and kinda agree that Locke's father could be the very original Sawyer who conned Sawyer's family and resulted in their death, i.e he is the man he has been looking for and its Locke's con man father. That would be an awesome scene. I hear Sawyer yell 'FINISH HIM' lol and knock Locke to the floor in the jungle in the preview. Fucking love lost. |
Not sure if it's this week or not, but an upcoming episode of Lost is going to have no flashbacks. Hoping it's this week.
|
With this being the last episode of the season focusing on Desmond, I think the Penny thing will definitely be addressed this week.
|
Well. When we last left off with Penny, some Russians down in anarctica picked up the EMP blast at the end of season 2. And she got the phone call. I wonder if she is gonna rescue him?
|
I dunno I mean if she arrives, that means she knows where the Island is on the global map, and if she were smart, would have people tracking her when she arrives. This would mean, even if she and her party are held against their will, the real world would be able to find them. I don't like that idea much unless 3rd season is the last which it isnt.
I think its THE BRIG thats no flashbacks. Then there is an episode call THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN - There have already been enough references to The Wizard of Oz - The name Henry Gale and the balloon thang. But I take it we might find out who the big boss man Jacob is. I have no idea. It better not be someone like Jack's father. |
I've even read some people think Jack is the leader, which would be gay.

Yeah but they're "island flashbacks" about the time he's spent with the Others that we haven't seen, I believe.

Yeah, at this point it would be more of a twist if Locke's father wasn't the original Sawyer.
|
lol

Sweet. How do you guys know this? Is it just upcoming ep guides you're getting it from?
|
lostpedia.com is pretty good.

It's island flashbacks, like they did in the episode "Three Minutes" last season, when we saw what Michael was up to with the Others. |
