The Outlaw 04-22-2004 02:18 PM

Yeah he is very talented at the roundball

AlphaBean 04-22-2004 02:42 PM

He's definitely one of the top 20 players in the West. :yesyes:

The Outlaw 04-22-2004 03:41 PM

No doubt about it

BCWWF 04-22-2004 09:06 PM

Its funny how 22-20-10 was a bad game for KG.

All I can say is why weren't the Nuggets prepared for Sprewell? It was obvious that Cassell wasn't going to put up 40 points again and in the paper all they talked about was getting Spree more touches. It seems like they focused all their energy on Sam and KG and weren't ready for Spree.

Are you saying KG is one the top 20 in the West? Because that's insane..you're not giving him near enough credit. He's one of the top 3 or 4 players in the NBA, period.

KG was broke. He kept missing shots... if he wasn't broke, he'd have scored like 50. That's what.

Anyway, 20 defensive boards = NBA playoff record!

The Outlaw 04-23-2004 12:09 PM

Oh I didnt know haha

I just saw Spree lighting it up, wasnt paying attention to KG :$

AlphaBean 04-23-2004 03:32 PM

It'd be like *miss* *miss* *miss* *pass to Spree* *THREE POINTER* *KG misses again* *cassell misses* *SPREE WITH THE LAYUP*

Just awesome. If all three of them are on the same page sometime, they will score 200 points.

You detroit fans make me laugh so much. I love how one win against the Indiana Pacer all of a sudden means you own us and your crowned east champs. Piston fans are always quick to whip out the stats of this one game because this is the ONLY GAME THEY WON IN THE SEASON SERIES! Then when you tell these dumbasses that they are quick to point out that they didnt have Bluntman Wallace on there team. Well since Piston fan wants to point that out then please allow me to point out that Indiana was playing without there starting PG Jamal Tinsley . Jamal Tinsley is one of the main reasons this team is so good. He can puch the ball up the court. Split defenses, penatrate to the basket and create shots for others. And he is hitting 39% from 3 point line.. which is decent enough to keep defenses honest. A.J Johnson was brought in for defense and to hit key shots. Kenny Anderson cant knock down a shot or break someone off the dribble. He was brought in for INsurance. Tinsley is the key to this teams success. But dont tell Piston fan that..No NO NO... they Have Bluntman and Afro Wallace on there frontline. While Indiana is in the NBA Finals you'll be making my mother ****ing car bitches! We guunna burn that shit hole you call the Palace down .

KingofOldSchool 04-24-2004 02:37 PM

All of the Pacers point guards suck, well except for Kenny Anderson...if this was 1995.

The Outlaw 04-25-2004 10:16 PM

Steve Francis might be the most annoying player in the league.

Kid Robb 04-25-2004 11:36 PM

Just quietly, i haven't seen the game or anything, but today's Lakers-Rocket's OT game, where Malone scored 30 - HOW THE **** DID JIM JACKSON GET 20 REBOUNDS.

Shaq, Malone, Yao Ming, Cato, WTF!

I wish more of the playoffs were on ESPN International. We get like 2 or 3 games a week max, should be one a night. Too much baseball, not enough basketball

PureHatred 04-25-2004 11:58 PM

Yao played with foul problems through most of the game. Malone was playing on the wing a lot. And on every missed shot Kato and Taylor bodied up Shaq. Basically, Jackson crashed the boards and took advantage of the fact that he was covered by a smaller guy most of the game.

Man, was it wrong that I watched the whole Wolves game?

I couldn't take my eyes off it... the Nuggets were playing such flawless and inspired basketball, I kinda wanted them to win.

When I saw Camby put back that O-board, I marked out. The single greatest move in basketball is Camby's rebound dunk.

The Outlaw 04-26-2004 08:18 PM

Yeah Jackson boarded it up

That was a crazy game.

Also, did anyone hear Malone's interview afterwards when they asked him about Steve Francis trying to bow up to him?

"You know what I do with that? *brushes off his shoulders* He's a ****ing nat"

Or something to that effect. I marked out haha

Ninti Ishkur 04-26-2004 08:47 PM

You all should've watches the Spurs/Grizzlies game.

That game was intense.

Parker was the man in that game. And Duncan. And Horry.

Quality stuff right there.

The Outlaw 04-27-2004 12:05 PM

Yeah I watched that ish.

Kinda wanted it to be a better series, I am a semi-Grizzlies fan but I am an Horry mark.

BCWWF 04-27-2004 10:04 PM

I think the Nuggets talked themselves up a little too much in the media since the last game, they know where the talent is, and you don't want to upset guys like Sprewell and Cassell. Tonights game should be intense.

BCWWF 04-28-2004 01:20 AM

Man, this playoff scheduling this year is bull shit. First of all our home games were scheduled for 8:30 on weeknights, and now our away games are 9:30 on weeknights? Are they wondering why they aren't getting good numbers? Also, I have watched three of the four games that took place so far (Well, one isnt over yet) but these TNT doubleheaders clearly don't work because the damned East can't finish a basketball game on time, so every T-Wolves Nuggets game has been postponed half an hour at least. Our home games should be at 7:30 and away games at 7:30 mountain time, we don't give a **** about the Heat and the Hornets, so quit showing their games before ours. Thank you.

The Icon of Elisim 04-28-2004 01:32 AM

Yeah, the NBA is pretty stupid when it comes to scheduling. The first round can take up to 17 days or something, thats garbage. Games should have 1 day between them at the max and none of this pre-empting garbage.

The Outlaw 04-28-2004 02:43 AM

Ya know, as much of a fan of Spree I am, that was pure trash right there.

You just missed two free throws and gave them a chance to win, you shouldnt be running your mouth after the game. I know you are a trash talker but COME ON NOW

Also, why wasnt Carmelo in the game toward the latter?

PureHatred 04-28-2004 02:45 AM

Not sure. That was a horrible set play. They were at home and needed one bucket. If not 'Melo, than they could have gone pick and roll with Nene and Lenard since Nene had beem killing his man all night. That might've been Bzdelik's job right there.

The Outlaw 04-28-2004 02:48 AM

I think Melo mighta been fouled out, if so thats horse shit

Also just saw the replay, Spree is a ****ing cock

Right after the game was over he ran to their bench and ran his mouth...to THE BENCH. Jon Barry, Chris Anderson, and Nene I think were the three. Nene just laughed at him which was good. Barry got into it with him, but seriously SHUT THE **** UP SPREE you jackass.

@Barkley's comment on him

The Outlaw 04-28-2004 02:50 AM

Ok...maybe not :|

Melo was just on the bench :|

Been reading the papers?

Barry has been running his mouth all week about the Wolves. Anderson and Nene have been abusing the Wolves. I love Camby, I love Melo, and the PGs are awesome, but Barry, Nene and Anderson need to die, seriously. Nene had like four vicious flagrant fouls, and only one of them was actually called for a "normal" foul. Anderson is a cocky bastard who thugged Wally THEN gets a "great" play on a no-call over-the-back on Fred... but Barry...

Barry talked shit and needs to shut up.

'Melo talked shit too, and look what that did. He ended up with 2 points on 16 shots, his only make was on a wide-open dunk. Then he got hurt, so he sat.

Spre did it on TV, so you talk shit. But Barry said it in the papers. Look it up. He ran his mouth as though the Nuggets had a chance in this series. :nono:

The Outlaw 04-28-2004 05:47 PM

Well I havent read the papers, Melos comment, while true, was totally unecessary and just showed us how old he is.

Ok, point taken, they ran their mouths in the papers. I didnt see it. BUT, on tv Nene and Anderson both didn't talk anything to Spree when he was showing his ass at the end. Barry yes. But both of them looked at him like he was a child, which I thought was good. Now Barry, I can undertsand why he was retaliating. SPree RAN to him AND the whole bench and obviously was yelling obscene gestures to them, which Barry responded by saying something to him about missing those free throws. I mean yeah Barry was being a little bitch too but it was in response to Spree. You gotta remember, I am a huge fan of the guy's and have always tried to see stuff from his point of view ever since the strangling incident.

But let me break this down.

Ron Artest gets suspended for running five steps away from the bench and then coming right back during an altercation

Spree does what he did and will get nothing

Sam Cassell shoves Jeff Bzdelik and will get nothing

Hmm, I smell something here

The Outlaw 04-28-2004 05:54 PM

And since you brought up the subject of bad calling, if I'm not mistaken Garnett either shot the same or more free throws then all of the Nugs.

Gotta be happy when that happens ;)

Did you watch the game? He fought for those ****ing fouls. He was mauled. He battled. I was impressed -- for a guy who doesn't take it to the hole, that's ALL he did. I was like  the entire game with how aggressively KG played. I was  and  That's why he's MVP.

I'm not saying that the officiating was bad, I just think it was lopsided the fact that the Nuggets were thugging the wolves and while not always getting called for it, they got called a lot -- WHAT I AM SAYING is that when the Wolves fouled, it would be a touch-foul, or something slight. Whenever the Nuggets got a foul, they fouled hard, with the intent to hurt KG.

AND THE DENVER FANS BOOED KG WHEN HE GOT UP.

God, I was like... where are we, Philly? :wtf:

Wolves gotta foul harder. They need to foul with the intent to injure, like the Nugs do. Bring in the scrubs like Anderson to hurt people on dunk attempts. Whenever there was a breakaway for the Nuggets, the Wolves tried defending it, rather than hurting the guy. They played smart, the nuggets played street ball.

And they knew that the Wolves win when they can get to the line. Stupid.

By the way... the feud is getting heated. The "feud." And Barry needs to shut his ****ing face. He said the first two games were "boring," why? Because they got the shit beaten out of them. It will happen in game 5, too, and then what?

Spre was out of line, but when Andre Miller pushed KG in game 3, that was out of line. The things the Nuggets say are out of line. The fouls on Wally and KG were out of line. KG is being awesome in all of this, letting his play speak for itself and not trying to start anything with his words. I was sad when Spree missed his FT... but he also had just made a 3-pointer which ultimately meant the game for them. Had he not made that, then missed the FTs... then we woulda lost, then you know Barry would have talked shit.

I'm pretty sure Spre was talking to Barry. That's why Barry got mad, and everyone else laughed.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be laughing if my team just lost a close game... having fun is one thing, but "just being happy to be here" is another.

And while I hate Barry now for beign an asshole, at least he wants to win. You can see it in him, Camby, Voshon... they're veterans, and they want to win. 'melo Nene Anderson are like "whatever :D" then Boykins, Miller, they're in between. They're playing hard but they know they will be back. Well, Boykins is just a soldier -- a role player who will come through whether it's the Finals or a scrub game. Like Hoiberg and Hassell. those two guys.

OMG that pissed me off so much! You could cut that clip out and put it in the NBA Rulebook as a textbook "Over the back violation," god damn that was blatant.

Anderson just sucks, what is he like the reserve center behind fu</>cking Nene? What does he have to be cocky about? And his tattoo's look like shit all over his arms. I don't care if he didn't say a word during the game, he acted like an idiot after making decent plays.

I watched the first half and listened to the 2nd on the radio (it ended at what, 12:30?) and I knew the whole way through that the Wolves would win, because in a game that fought out in the beginning, the lesser team dies first, and that is exactly what happened.

Also, its kind of funny how Fred Hoiberg is our best guy at guarding Earl, that says something.

Anyway, the Nugget's just got way too cocky for their own good, and now that they don't even have their fans behind them, they will fall off in game 5, making history. Sorry Carmelo, but we're not changing our name anytime soon.

HeartBreakMan2k 04-28-2004 08:44 PM

Melo was out because he got hurt. Don't know if it's already been answered but just responding before I read everything

The Outlaw 04-29-2004 12:08 AM

Yeah funny that you bring up Fred being the best defender against Boykins.

"Fred cant stay in front of Earl. If he cant guard him, noone can."

One of the announcers talking about Fred. I thought they should have fed Earl on the last play, he was wide open and he was hitting shots when I was watching.

I dunno the last two games have been pretty interesting like Barry said, but I mean trash talking is fine. I did a good bit in my playing days but I mean when you started doing what Spree did thats just going over the line. And when Sammy shoved Bzdelik it just made me groan.

LOL Why are you commenting on CHris Anderson if he's just a scrub center? I mean if hes JUST a scrub one wouldnt be talking about him. I think he brings serious energy to the game. Kinda like Mark Madsen

But yeah, Im sure the next game will either be boring and not interesting or boring and have a span of 5 minutes thats interesting.

DOnt see Denver making a game out of it, but I will watch for the sole chance of seeing Chris Anderson's hair. :D

BCWWF 04-29-2004 12:20 AM

Boykins did what a typical reserve does on a good night, hits about 5 shots in a row and then is unheard of the rest of the time. That isn't trying to be a diss on Boykins, but typically reserve players don't stay hot for the whole game.
