Whatever folks, that was a pussy tactic.
I'd drill Varitek on his first plate appearance if I were the coach. I'd start some mid reliever instead of my starter. All with the sole purpose of drilling Varitek between the shoulder blades. Old School. |
LOL WTF. Nice dive right in front of Damon, Kapler.
Looking nervous. |
Red Sox just proved in the 1st inning why they're 8.5 games out. Lofton catches Damon sleeping and takes 2 on what should've been a single, Jeter bunts him to 3rd, and Sheffield pops it up to right center and no one calls it. 1-0 Yankees.
Lowe hits Posada, bases loaded. Not a hard ball hit yet.
Lowe looks frazzled.
Varitek isn't playing. LOL. Sorry, but he's gotta be out there, saying he hurt his wrist in the scuffle, that is weak.
How does Matsui take that pitch. My god.
Nice catch by Damon, I thought that was over his head. A little atonement.
Ump's got a tight strike zone it seems. As long as he's consistant.
Red Sox match a season high with 2 flyball catches in one inning.
Good hustle by Damon there. He's playing like The Man.
That 'wake me up' HAs slapped Johnny in the face. He's ready to play now.
LOL WTF. Throwing the ball over the 1st basemans head on a pickoff? This like watching a little league game.
Now they walk Bellhorn. Gonna be an interesting game to say the least.
Quote:
well, actually, he's always frazzled... He blew about 4-5mil a year by not accepting the sox offer in the offseason. |
Quote:
and the yanks have a better coach... smart plan, try and score early and get lowe all screwed up. |
Bit of a high strike call there, Ortiz didn't seem upset by it. Mighta said it, before signaling to us TV people.
Bases loaded for the best RBI guy I've ever watched, Manny.
Contreras has gotta throw strikes.
Force at home, LOL. Looked like he was off the plate. Need a replay...
Posada dragged his leg nicely actually.
Bases loaded, no outs. Gotta get something. 2 outs now and nothing.
Tie game. Millar been getting the job done all series.
Yeah, Kerry just lost my vote.
Don't worry he'll Flip Flop [/republican] |
Varitek ain't playing so they hit Marribelli (SP). Well that's not why...
I fucking love Johnny Damon
He's in the game, I'm telling you. Lofton taking the extra base on him was the worse thing that could have happened for the Yankees. Also, that foul ball call, that did look fair, was also a bad thing for *UPDATE BELLHORN HITS A HR TOO* the Yanks as well.
God dammit, I go to get some cheetos and it's 6-2 Sox. What happened?
Damon got a 3 run home run and belhorn got a solo homerun right after him
Grand slam by Matsui.
Millar is going crazy at the plate
he's now 10-12 in the series with 5 HRs and like 16 RBI or something |
what is the score now. 9-6 when I stopped watching :o
21-6 Yankees. They had a big rally
Foulke closes it out.....Nice
That grand slam shouldn't have even happened, A-Rod should have been called out on strikes. 3 "borderline" pitches, I am pretty sure ATLEAST one was a strike, either way though, Sox pull out with the victory  |
what was final scoreeeeee
9-6
May be the year for the BoSox. Or not. Maybe.
I really thought last year was the "year" I always say it, but last year I really had a feeling like they were going to win it all. But I was wrong
I am not too sure about this year. Last year they won every close game, and didn't make bonehead plays in the field..they seem to be doing that type of shit this year though. Take away the errors and unearned runs the Sox would probably be in the running for the AL East crown |
I don't follow baseball too closely, and I surely know the Yankee-BoSox rivalry is very intense but if a team is willing to go to fist-to-cuffs over baseball, they mean business.
