I'd no idea Hall had been using the Chokeslam as far back as the Diamond Studd days (around 40 seconds mark), always thought it was just a move he used to piss off The Giant.

No lIe. Hall was bigger in the AWA. Look at him in this video. STACKED.

Then he goes to the WWE an leans out during an anti juice era. He was def on the roids.

And yes, he eve used the chokeslam all through his WWF run.

When I think scott hall I think

Razors Ege
Fall Away Slam
Abdominal Stretch
Back Supler plex
Chokeslam
Discus punch

Saw that at the merch stand at the house show. The funny thing was that the kids were chanting "Let's go Cena! Cena sucks!" all by themselves. Which was pretty weird.

His mustache must have been on roids as well considering how big it was in the AWA to basically nothing by the time he's in the WWF :shifty:

What I found kinda chuckleworthy was the fact that after clicking on the link to the page where that shirt is listed, it has the "you may also like..." with the standard Cena "Rise Above Hate" shirt.

I mean, isn't the point of this one for the Cena haters NOT getting that one? Sort of like saying the following in complete seriousness:

"Do you hate Nickleback? If so, we thought you'd like some of their concert tickets!"

Watching the best show of the year (2011Wipe) and it's reviewing the year up to May so far. It used Cena announcing that we had killed Bin Laden at Extreme Rules as the link to that story.

I love this program.

Tazz Dan 12-31-2011 03:33 AM

So, it's been 12 months since my last New Years Eve video to tpww.net/forums. Who would like a shout-out this year?

Juan 12-31-2011 03:35 AM

I think ECG does

#BROKEN Hasney 12-31-2011 03:44 AM

ECG and CSL would love it. Limit it to just them so they feel special.

Tazz Dan 12-31-2011 04:10 AM

Fucking done!

My first WWE live event experience.

  • Mason Ryan looks ridiculously huge in real life. I am assuming that he is even bigger than Big Dave Batista.
  • Beth Phoenix was a delight to watch perform and it seemed like she enjoyed what she was doing.
  • Santino was very over and after his match he brought in a few kids to do his trumpet thingy. I guess he does it at every house show but nonetheless it was cute.
  • Got a lot of stares from little kids when I purchased The Miz's t-shirt at the merch store.
  • Dolphin was amazing and sold everything like it was nobody's business. Zack Ryder was pretty over too.
  • The kid sitting in front of me had a Primo sign. He would hold it up and look for cameras from time to time. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was a house show and Primo was touring with the Smackdown roster. It was terribly depressing and he also blocked our view during the United States title match.
  • The crowd was terrible.
  • John Cena got the biggest reaction.
  • There were kids who were chanting "Let's go Cena, Cena sucks" all by themselves. It was very amusing.
  • The Big Afro American Dad in front of us was visibly terrified and upset by the fact that we were booing the living hell out of Cena. He and his entire family were wearing a variety of different John Cena t-shirts.
  • Nobody cared for A-Ry, JTG, Hawkins or Tyler Reks.
  • The Miz was amazing as a heel and got the second largest reaction after Jonathen Cena.
  • Kids had absolutely no clue as to who Mick Foley was.
  • CM Punk got a decent pop and he seemed pissed off by the fact that the crowd was very silent during his match.
  • A few idiots and we started a few random chants like "Y2J", "Colt Cabana" etc. and the kids were absolutely lost.
  • Punk interacted with the crowd after his match and he was very sweaty. Did I mention that he was sweet and adorable?
  • I was quite happy with the show and we were shouting like 14-year-old girls when Howard Finkel came out as the ring announcer.
  • The crowd was lame and I am not considering going back to the Verizon Center for any future WWE events. I will probably travel to Philly or New York. Holla at you Xero Limit 126.

Thanks for completely ignoring the post Xero.

Xero 12-31-2011 03:48 PM

I completely missed that part. I gladly holla back. :'(

Honestly, house show atmosphere is completely different from TV and PPV. It's more "fun" and loose, but the diehard fans that make it that much better tend to stick to the TV and PPVs.

GD 12-31-2011 03:49 PM

GD 12-31-2011 03:50 PM

I can't get the mental image of a little Charles Robinson setting up the steel cage in the ring.

Xero 12-31-2011 03:50 PM

Did he literally do it by himself? Like lifting each section of cage and strapping it together?

GD 12-31-2011 03:53 PM

The ring crew handed him the cage parts from below and he strapped them together while standing on the top rope. The cage used at house shows aren't the same as the ones used on television.

Xero 12-31-2011 03:55 PM

Yeah, they don't bother with the lowering rig so it is a completely different one.

Did they change the ring canvas out at all? They do this after every other match on TV and PPV, but can't remember if they ever do it at house shows.

GD 12-31-2011 03:58 PM

No. They didn't.

Xero 12-31-2011 04:00 PM

Eww. Sweaty ring mat.

GD 12-31-2011 04:05 PM

Punk was soaking in sweat. Poor thing :(

... or the European Championship, the McDonalds Title, or the "HVVWTH CHAMDIDIN" toy belt. That's quite a number of accomplishments he's missing. Hunter is slippin'.

Maybe there needs to be "The Unification Match To End All Unification Matches!!!1!" with this man:

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PubEOSzWd2...on+J+Crown.jpg

Of course, Hunter won't job to the likes of him, so he gets them all, melts them all into the first ever championship worn as an ENTIRE SUIT OF ARMOR. )Complete with spartan helmet as seen on the tag belts.)
