I hope Peyton Manning just bitchslaps the Charger's defense around all night. Philip Rivers is more annoying than Romo, and Romo fucking smiles after throwing picks and being a giant pussy in the NFL.

RP 12-31-2008 10:14 AM

I dont mind Rivers. I really hate L.T. I hate the guy's press conferences. He really does seem like he doesnt even wanna be there. I hate how he talks. I hate how looks like he's gunna cry. I think he's soft and gutless for standing on the sideline last year in that championship game while Rivers was playing with a ripped up knee. I just hate the guys guts. I hope he doesnt play. He dont deserve to be out there with people who actually wanna be out there. He's the most overhyped player in the history of the game. I forget who, but someone wrote a column about how he was a class act recently. BULL SHIT. The guy pouts and cries in post game pressers . I hope Bob Sanders suplex's him into retirement.

Wow. I'm in shock right now.

Whoever the new guy is will clean house anyway.

If Shanny wants a year off I'm sure Kyle could use someone to hold his clipboard.

Don't forget Brian Billick is still out there. Not saying he'll get the Broncos job but any head coach available would probably want it.

ClockShot 12-31-2008 10:57 AM

We need to bring in a guy who's defensive minded. Cowher would be that guy. Steve Spagnoulo out of NY would be awesome too. Unless these guys want power, Bowlen gotta go and get a GM first and foremost.

FearedSanctity 12-31-2008 11:09 AM

Really hoping we don't lose Bobby Turner or Jeremy Bates, though we probably will. I see both of them following Shanahan, sadly

ClockShot 12-31-2008 09:11 PM

Chad Pennington is your AP Comeback Player of the Year

Jerod Mayo is your AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.

ClockShot 12-31-2008 09:18 PM

And Jerry Jones has started to sharpen the ax.

Special Teams coach Bruce Read is gone.

lol remember when Belichek called that time out and ruined a field goal attempt and then put his poorly coached player out on the field and got a personal foul penalty and cost the Pats that game against the Colts this year, that coincidently if he had won, would have put them in the playoffs.

Oh man good times.

GOOOD TIMES!!!

LOL REmember when you vanished from this board when Tom Brady got injured ROFL. OHHHH MAn you're such a true fan. GOOD TIMES FOR ALL !

You think Chris Berman will say " No one circles the wagons like Chad Pennington! "?

Evil Vito 01-01-2009 11:27 AM

I still refuse to refer to LaDainian Tomlinson as "LT". My ass. :foc:

SammyG 01-01-2009 04:41 PM

Yeah, I forgot this one doesn't do coke.

ClockShot 01-01-2009 05:47 PM

Broncos have asked the Bucs for permission to talk to Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris about the head coaching spot.

A player on my favorite team getting hurt doesn't impact decisions I make in my life, so if makes me a non-true fan then I guess I'm not.

The reason I haven't been posting is because I was busy with school and coaching. I sure hope Phillip Rivers watches out for those Indy fans though, because they haven't forgotten!!!!

Also I highly recommend everyone reads LT's "Over the Edge" book - it's pretty awesome. Some of the stories he has are unbelievable.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-02-2009 12:39 AM

Gotta love all the Jets players throwing Favre under the bus. Especially Thomas Jones.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-02-2009 01:46 AM

THE GUNSLINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worried about Poili leaving the Patriots, could be in for some serious trouble if he bounces. Heard he has "ridiculous" demands though, almost so ridiculous that its like he doesn't want to leave NE.

I don't think McDaniels leaving would be as big of a deal, however the offense was pretty impressive this year considering Brady got hurt in the 1st quarter of game #1.

DaveWadding 01-02-2009 01:47 AM

LOL the Cardinals might get blacked out

SammyG 01-02-2009 01:54 AM

that is so awful

DaveWadding 01-02-2009 02:06 AM

It's hilarious...1st playoff game in 10 years and you cant fill up your BRAND FUCKING NEW STADIUM with people to watch it?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-02-2009 02:21 AM

Its dumb they would black it out

Who wants to watch the Cardinals anyway?

Vastardikai 01-02-2009 03:43 AM

I want to see them...

Get beat by the Falcons.

DaveWadding 01-02-2009 03:47 AM

Michael Turner 150 yards and 2 TDs tomorrow, BOOK IT.

SammyG 01-02-2009 04:03 AM

i just wonder why they can't sell it out. Economy being bad? Week after X-mas and people are broke?

RP 01-02-2009 04:15 AM

If Arizone cant sell there game out, they should never be allowed in the playoffs again. Atleast not be allowed to have a home game. Thats so fucking stupid. If this game was in Atlanta, they'd sell out in like 4 hours.

OssMan 01-02-2009 04:23 AM

We refused to pay $80,000 to keep our Giants season tickets so maybe we will by season tickets for the Cardinals

Mr. Monday Morning 01-02-2009 06:04 AM

Vikings might not sell out either

RoXer 01-02-2009 06:23 AM

$1,000 for two decent seats.

$100 for nosebleeds.

Dave, you wanna go?

RoXer 01-02-2009 06:24 AM

You're paying.

Nervous Ferret 01-02-2009 06:40 AM

NFL 2008-2009 Season Thread. This has bothered me for a long time.

D Mac 01-02-2009 07:06 AM

Shanahan should go to the Chiefs!

RP 01-02-2009 07:27 AM

I wish these games were today

James Steele 01-02-2009 07:30 AM

Tom Brady might miss the 2009 season because of infections in his knee. Karma is a bitch Tombo.

Evil Vito 01-02-2009 12:11 PM

Well that makes the decision to retain Cassel easier. Not sure what the top 5 QB prices average out to be but if they've got the cap space it wouldn't shock me to see them Franchise Tag Cassel so as to not make a long-term commitment to him in case Tom comes back.

Mr. Monday Morning 01-02-2009 12:44 PM

$12m

Boomer 01-02-2009 01:00 PM

I can't believe I have to miss the Falcons game again. I'm going to go crazy at work. It's probably going to keep happening too...retail and weekends is no fun.
