In a bit of irony, main reason SyFy wanted Smackdown off the network was due to low ad rates and them wanting to go in a new direction for the channel. Smackdown drew some of their highest audiences but very little carried over to their other shows.

Some other sheet news includes: - According to the Observer, The Club vs Reigns feud is rumored to be continuing after Extreme Rules based on upcoming house show plans.
The Club vs Reigns/Cena/Ambrose is planned to occur at several house shows after Extreme Rules. Usos not included in those plans. May or may not end up replacing rumored plans for Sheamus vs Reigns title feud to be next.
- In a "WWE Did You Know" type fact, Marvel and WCW had plans to work on a cross-over comic series somewhere between 1998-2000 before those plans were dropped. Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho might have been the first depending on the stipulations used. Charlotte is currently on track to join the list next month baring a sudden injury or Creative issue.
