Tom Brady; 11-1 in the playoffs

Kris P Lettus 01-07-2007 09:14 PM

Saints are gonna beat the Eagles 37-17..

Kris P Lettus 01-07-2007 09:29 PM

Louisville's Bobby Petrino is the Falcons new head coach..

Kris P Lettus 01-07-2007 09:37 PM

Jemarcus Russel is going to the NFL..

Raiders will get him..

Lions will get Quinn..

LoDownM 01-07-2007 10:06 PM

I love playoff time...even when my team does shitty or doesn't make.

Games are always like 50 times better.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-07-2007 10:31 PM

Patriots vs Chargers should be pretty interesting. Pretty sure last time they played the Chargers destoried the Pats, but that was a while back so we'll see.

I don't think that it will be quite like that.

Kris P Lettus 01-07-2007 10:41 PM

They only beat yall by a FG..

Two weeks ago, we beat yall by 23...

IT'S SIMPLE MATH

Supreme Olajuwon 01-07-2007 10:46 PM

Why wouldn't you just use the game the Saints and Eagles played already this year?

It seems like that would make more sense as well as provide a more accurate barometer of what viewers can expect this forthcoming weekend.

Nah, Kitna's a good quarterback who probably has a couple of years left in him. If the Lions had any sense at all they would draft Adrian Peterson.

OssMan 01-07-2007 11:04 PM

Is everyone still thinking that teams will draft players to fill positions that they need rather than just taking the best player available? Especially the Lions of all teams.

Nervous Ferret 01-07-2007 11:06 PM

lol come on. Lions are taking Calvin Johnson, everybody knows that.

OssMan 01-07-2007 11:08 PM

yeah that is what i was saying, teams dont take who they need and they take the best player available, but people still think they'll draft what they need.

Nervous Ferret 01-07-2007 11:09 PM

I think Quinn will go 1st overall, than Johnson to the Lions, then who has the 3rd pick? I don't think it's it the Bucs :-\

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-07-2007 11:28 PM

You really think the Lions are going to draft another wideout or are you just fucking around?

Nervous Ferret 01-07-2007 11:32 PM

Jokin' around at first, but it really wouldn't surprise me.

What are you talking about? I guess Mario Williams was the best player in the draft last year? That may be the case for huge names like Reggie Bush, but teams will pick players pending on what they need, especially in the latter parts of the first round, as well as the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh rounds.

Nervous Ferret 01-07-2007 11:43 PM

According to Charlie Casserly, yeah he was.

DrA 01-07-2007 11:45 PM

But the Texans already had a running back and needed to stop Peyton Manning, according to their logic, therefore they drafted according to what they perceived to be their needs.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-07-2007 11:47 PM

If the Lions take Quinn then Kitna can mentor him just like Carson Palmer. That seemed to work out well.

RP 01-08-2007 12:46 AM

LOL Milen is taking Calvin Johnson.

Coin toss between the Bucs and the Browns..

Triple A 01-08-2007 01:38 AM

Wow didn't sleep at all last night for some reason so I was watching the game while completely sleep deprived and punched my headboard 98327 times in a row after that lateral/fumble play. In a horrible mood right now.

weather vane 01-08-2007 02:05 AM

lol take it easy

you had to be crazy to think that the Jets were going to beat the Pats

RP 01-08-2007 02:08 AM

Go Pats! I hope they win and my Colts take care of business so i can go to another playoff game this year and watch the Patriots get there asses handed to them. Woooooo Go Pats!

RP 01-08-2007 02:27 AM

Nah, the Jets had a pretty good chance to win that game. Though the Patriots have a legit chance to win the Super Bowl again, it's not like they are superfreaks or anything.

Mr. Monday Morning 01-08-2007 05:56 AM

Also I can see someone like the 49ers trying to trade up and go for Johnson, I really can. They have a ton of draft picks they've got stocked up and atm WR is like the only offensive skill position they're lacking at.

Gonzo 01-08-2007 12:31 PM

If they get a good WR in San Fran, they could be dangerous. Vernon Davis was injured a good part of the year, so if he pans out, Frank Gore keeps playing well and Alex Smith keeps on the up and in they are going to rise back up.

Saints need Patrick Willis..

Kris P Lettus 01-08-2007 01:33 PM

Or a cornerback to replace Fred "I can't handle any superstar WR" Thomas..

:(

Going by that it looks like they will still do the coin flip for the 3/4 spot

Supreme Olajuwon 01-08-2007 02:44 PM

I thought that regardless of records all the teams that made the playoffs would draft after the teams that didn't make the playoffs but that list has the Giants ahead of Denver.

D Mac 01-08-2007 03:21 PM

Go Saints! Or Eagles I guess. Either one.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-08-2007 03:41 PM

Calvin Johnson offically declared for the NFL draft. Dude should go #1, he is going to be the best player from this draft. 4.4 40 time, 45 inch vert and a monster on the field too - not just a work out freak.

He also isn't a head case or egomaniac or anything. Pretty sure both his parents have their PhDs (or atleast his mom) so he has a pretty solid base, dude seems like about as much of a sure thing as you can get in the NFL Draft.
