I can't seem to find that video of all of Test's titantrons, from his first one to his last, that were all seamlessly put together.

I found others there were sort of like it, but they're either "One True Media" videos or the titantrons fade in and out to the next one. :-\

Tom Guycott 03-13-2012 02:35 PM

I just now got the opportunity to start watching last night's RAW. This is the first time in a long time that I marked out for John Cena... for both walking out to "Basic Thuganomics" AND rocking the 80's style Mark Price jersey!

Note the shorts: signifying just how long it's been since the Cavs were truly worth a damn.

Unfortunately, I know it's only gonna go downhill from here, so I just thought I'd post about my soon to be short-lived geeking now. That is all.

The following announcement was issued today by Bill Behrens (SHOWBIS@aol.com, who is handling bookings for Russo:

BABY FACES, BLADE JOBS and BOOKING

Everything you wanted to know about writing a professional wrestling show but were afraid to ask.

A SEMINAR HOSTED BY VINCE RUSSO

During the years of 1995-2012, Vince Russo was one of the most controversial figures in the history of sports entertainment/professional wrestling, while serving as the head writer of all three major wrestling companies, WWE, WCW and TNA.

During that tenure, Russo wrote over a thousand televised wrestling shows--which achieved some of the highest ratings of all time-- while also having a hand in helping create some of the biggest stars in the history of the business. From Stone Cold Steve Austin to “The Rock”, Russo has written for just about anybody who’s anybody in the world of sports entertainment/pro wrestling.

Whether it was in front of the camera, or behind the scenes, Russo has played an influential part in helping to bring the drama of the squared circle to the forefront of American pop culture.

Now, in this limited engagement and for the first time ever, Russo is going to bring the “behind the curtain” aspect of his job, into the spotlight, by sharing his craft and experience with wrestling fans around the world. In his ground-breaking seminar entitled, “Baby Faces, Blade Jobs, and Booking, “, Russo is going to share first hand, what it takes to be a successful writer in the world of sports entertainment/professional wrestling.

Just some of the topics Russo will be covering in this no-holds-barred presentation:

· Where to get your start in writing for a professional wrestling organization.
· How to use the experience you’ve built to get in the door of one of the major companies
· How to create larger-than-life personas and personalities
· Writing effective dialogue for specific characters
· How to format a wrestling show
· How to generate new ideas 52-weeks out of the year
· How to present and sell your idea to a talent
· How to create a successful working environment between talent and writer
· Dealing with egos
· Overcoming writer’s block
· Avoiding the pitfalls of politics
· How to generate ratings
· The difference between “writing” a show and “booking” a show

Baby Faces, Blade Jobs and Booking; nothing will no longer be sacred!!

Taker it Easy 03-13-2012 04:35 PM

Anybody notice on Raw last night that there was 4 black men in the ring at the same time. Are they going for a non-royal rumber record? F the Guinness book mask record, they are going for the black man in the ring record!

If Ahmed Johnson was in his prime right now he would be in Cena's spot.

Xero 03-13-2012 04:38 PM

Ahmed's around. He just changed his name to Zeke.

He's still supposed to be a face, remember? That's near riot inciting level heeling.

And the Price/Daugherty era Cavs were good enough talent wise to have their playoff runs halted by the +Ewing Knicks & +Jordan Bulls. The LeBron era Cavs put too much pressure and stock in the "hometown hope" without making any effort to surround him with any type of talent and expecting him to singlehandedly lift them to multiple championships.

I don't hate LeBron, but I didn't delude myself that he was going to stick around northeast Ohio forever. A lot of people did, however, and resent him to this day.

I don't care about the face/heel thing. I would have loved to hear and see the reaction if he had come out with a LeBron jersey and would have given him props to have the balls to wear it but of course that wouldn't have happened.

Racist.

Flash Funk 03-13-2012 06:01 PM

Am I the only one who didn't think the chairshot from Janetty to Balls looked that bad? The blog from the Pope made it seem like JBL to Eddie times 5.

CSL 03-13-2012 06:10 PM

nah, it was a shitty chair shot/pretty fucking unprofessional (something that looks like shit/like it doesn't hurt but actually hurts like a fucking bastard/does some real damage) I mean, he pretty much hit him in the back of the head with the sturdiest part of the chair. JBL's shot on Eddie was perfect, Eddie just went too deep with the blade

Xero 03-13-2012 06:12 PM

Did I miss this being posted or something?
