During an interview with IGN, the lead game director for Luigi's Mansion 2 revealed the game was meant to have a different set of bosses before Miyamoto demanded they'd be replaced with the current set of bosses. It was due to him wanting bosses that would feel unique to the game and not be influenced from other games.

Love my Wii U, but the games coming out on 3DS just put it in BEAST MODE right now. Shocked by how good Luigis Mansion 2 is.

That AC 3DS reminds me so much of my childhood bedroom. Had that kind of thing on a lot of my stuff. White background with red/yellow/green things like numbers, letters, shapes etc at jaunty angles.

I've played chunks of Bravely Default and it's up there with those two as well. Add in Animal Crossing, Mario Kart 7, Mario 3D Land, Smash Bros, Luigis Mansion 2, Fire Emblem and hopefully a localisation of Ace Attorney 5 and this is the greatest handheld of all time. Seriously, that horrible start got Nintendo in panic mode and it's glorious. Hoping the Wii U follows suit, although HD assets might make progress slower.

I was about to order Animal Crossing: New Leaf from Amazon, but I realized that it comes out on a Sunday, so I wouldn't actually get it until the next day. I suppose this is a good occasion to use the GameStop gift card I got for Christmas.

Nintendo announces they are currently developing plans to increase StreetPass usage outside of Japan. The idea is to use their existing wifi networks in McDonalds and Starbucks to also act as StreetPass spots while they expand into more areas.
