YES YES YES YES YES

Corndad 03-03-2014 11:13 PM

#1-norm-fan 03-03-2014 11:13 PM

WOW NO CM PUNK? PRETTY GOOD SHOW

#1-norm-fan 03-03-2014 11:15 PM

Hmm... possibly...

Dark One 03-03-2014 11:15 PM

Rumor:
"CM Punk is definitely going to be returning on Raw tonight."

Reality:
Raw ends with HHH's music after pedigreeing Bryan.

Hanso Amore 03-03-2014 11:15 PM

Oh a yeah Bryan is totally going to be in the title match

ron the dial 03-03-2014 11:15 PM

and no punk. disappointing, but that was a great raw. lots of good shit. the second hour was a bit weak, but for 2/3 of the show to be of high quality is nice to see.

Shadrick 03-03-2014 11:15 PM

the CM Punk signal flashed in the Chicago sky tonight but alas our hero would not answer the call.

sean the killer 03-03-2014 11:16 PM

Hmmm so why did paul heyman do the pipe bomb on punk

Lock Jaw 03-03-2014 11:16 PM

Now D-Bry goes to David Otunga, who says that D-Bry can sue the WWE unless they appease Daniel Bryan with a match against HHH, and that he gets to pick the stipulation. HHH agrees, and then D-Bry announces the stip that if he beats him he gets into the main event.

Is this WWE Network stuff?

rob11 03-03-2014 11:22 PM

And back to not watching Raw although I will catch WM for being WM. Same old WWE. We keep telling scenarios that get Bryan into the main event at WM but do you actually think they will do it? We keep pushing it back. At WM, Bryan won't get the title, and we will all say they are building for him to win at Payback which he will job in the opening match and we will keep pushing it back and back.

el bobbo 03-03-2014 11:22 PM

Titus O'Neil just cut a hilarious promo with Byron Saxton coming up to him backstage to ask him his thoughts on Daniel Bryan while he was getting his stuff ready to leave and Titus basically responded with "I don't care. I'm hungry!"

Bryan almost got the best of Batista, Orton, Kane and Triple H. The WWE is openly setting up hurdles for Bryan to over-come and this is what you get from this?

Bryan will get his match at WM with Triple H and maybe even go over but that's it. Somewhere in the middle of the card. I could see Brock/Taker being the main event.

Really. What, I'm not saying it was bad but compared to the hype, I guess I'm alone in thinking this. For a regular Raw it was good, a B+ show.

Heisenberg 03-03-2014 11:32 PM

That was a fuckin hot ending!!! Holy shit!!

#1-norm-fan 03-03-2014 11:34 PM

The small amount of heat they started between Batista and Orton went backwards tonight. Any chance that they might try to make Orton more of a face or tweener or at the very least the lesser of two evils is kind shot. If they somehow decide to keep that match one on one at WrestleMania, it's gotta go in the middle of the show which is gonna shit on the title.

I can't see Batista not walking out of WrestleMania with the title though. They wouldn't go Bryan vs Orton vs Batista at WrestleMania just to have Bryan lose again? Would they??? lol

RawRocks 03-03-2014 11:35 PM

i forgot Brock Lesnar could talk lol

Swiss Ultimate 03-03-2014 11:36 PM

I haven't watched a Raw live or otherwise in over a year. I fucking had a blast tonight. It was way better than my expectations which were reasonably high.

I mean, fuck, they opened the show with Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar F5'd Henry, fun tag match with Usos getting the titles, great promos...

Listen, if you didn't enjoy it, that's your right. I had a good time watching though.

Innovator 03-03-2014 11:37 PM

I guess if there will be a payoff it would be at WM. Maybe it will be Bryan winning the title with confetti raining down and 70,000 people chanting yes. I will give the WWE one thing, they knew they couldn't keep Batista face. Next year, Bobby Lashley returns, and wins the Rumble lol

Swiss Ultimate 03-03-2014 11:37 PM

Shield VS. Wyatts was great, Batista VS. Bryan was the best match Batista has had since he returned, Bryan looks amazing.

I was hoping for one of those historic nights. Okay, it wasn't meh, it was good. Solid matches, a good storyline ending, but I guess my expectations were of a historic Raw and they were too high. Some big swerves or something. Now we go back to dead crowds next week. The crowd helped make tonight but I don't think Memphis is known for their loud crowds.

Oh, props to Heyman for the opening. Perfect promo.

That was a way to turn the situation into a work and write Punk back in. I was so hoping it was going to be Batista doing to Chicago what HBK did to Montreal in 2005 so that Punk would be the one getting in to make it a Triple Threat. It makes sense though to write him in with Paul/Lesnar/Taker because of recent history. Because of that, I'm actually glad that he didn't come back tonight. It fits perfect for him to return in a run-in during the Brock/Taker match.

No way would they have done something like that if an agreement wasn't reached...so you know he will be back soon. Just remember, they were kicking people out of the arenas & tearing up CM Punk signs just a week ago. Yeah, cooler heads prevailed.

exactly, the arena was packed with punk signs, even some colt related signs, and on air mentioning of him, they tried to keep it subtle tho with just mentioning him a little bt, just wondering and really curious on the direction they are going with punk

I'm not trying to convince you man, if you didn't like it you didn't like it. I just felt like it's important to increase tension until Wrestlemania. If Bryan had gone over it would have taken away his momentum for me. By the time Bryan gets to face Triple H it'll be epic.

If we get what we want now, what's left for Wrestlemania.

This is why I think if CM Punk's leaving isn't a work he has to come back as a heel at Mania. The only way he can turn the fans against him and push the product forward is if he is the deciding factor in Lesnar VS. Undertaker.

Bryan going over at Mania will be what's best for the company and also make the fans happy. We need a CM Punk VS. Daniel Bryan feud next.

If Bryan is put into the main event then it's worth it. If it's to have a mid card match with Triple H, then meh. I'm sure it would be a good match. Like I said, I'm probably alone with my thoughts and for people who thought tonight was amazing, good for them. Obstacles are good but what is this leading to at WM?

He's really nothing special and the "cooler heads guy" is just something random creative had to come up with because Ambrose and Reigns outshine him.

Quiet, you.

Corndad 03-04-2014 09:58 AM

I personally thought the show was great. I think they played the Punk card exactly right with Heyman being the first guy out of the blocks. I figured that would be the first song to hit at top of Raw just didn't know who was coming out. It was played perfectly IMO

Usos deserved the Titles going into Mania. I'm sure will end up with a 4 way Tag or something at Mania but Well Deserved.

The end of the show was also done amazingly. Sets up possible Triple Threat between the 3. Both sides got upper hand with Bryan going nuts on everyone but the show ending with HHH standing over him. Only thing curious about is if Orton is gonna be a Heel or Face in all this mess. If it's not gonna be a Triple Threat you would think he would have to turn Face or atleast be a Tweener but what kind of Mania Main Event would that be if it's Heel vs Heel with no one to "Cheer" for.

Hanso Amore 03-04-2014 10:33 AM

It seems like the much more logical angle with the shield shouldnt be "OH T HE ARCHITECT IS LEAVING THE SHIELD"

it should be that he is overshadowed by Reigns and Ambrose despite being the best Wrestler out of them, so hes jealous etc.

Hanso Amore 03-04-2014 10:35 AM

I cant believe how over the Usos have gotten. Now that the straps are back on a face team I think they will flounder a bit and defend against the outlaws one more time then move onto Rybaxel...Hopefully in the next few months the Ascension move up from NXT to feud with the Usos.

Also why does JBL keep referring to them as Rikishis baby boys. They are like 30
