The problem with hyping a show is that fan expectations get too high. Then they are inevitably going to be disappointed by the product you put on. WWE understands, better than any other leader in the entertainment industry, that low expectations mean you can truly knock the socks off millions of fans and get them all to watch your television, attend your shows and subscribe to the Network. When WWE sells Titan Towers, they need to have a business class held in their new headquarters where they can teach people all these things. Numbers don't like folks, and those TV rights deals are clear-cut evidence that Vince does business better than anybody. |

It has all paid and WWE has a legend that shows up every WrestleMania, rain or shine. He could be sitting this show out, but like a trooper he has trained. A consumate professional. Everyone leaves Vince. They leave for Hollywood or UFC. And don't give me that "Triple H tried to be a movie star but all his films sucked" crap. Triple H and WWE basically OWN a movie studio. If Triple H really wanted to be a movie star, they could just put him in movies. The Miz is the guy that wants to be a movie star, and that's the reason he has only worked one Mania main event, yet Triple H holds the record (16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 25 and 32). I don't think you can count Hogan at 9, so it's 7 a-piece. |
