IT'S A CONSPIRACY

Captain of Fun 09-14-2011 02:05 PM

The cops in North Carolina must be huge Dudleyz fans.

If he was at fault, Matt Hardy would hold himself accountable for his actions, so clearly this some sort of elaborate plot against him.

Xero 09-14-2011 02:42 PM

If Matt were at fault he'd have made a video about being changed.

...So it's only a matter of time.

JERRY 09-14-2011 02:47 PM

:( Matt Hardy disaster total!

Hey Jerry, I believe your caps lock is off.;)

From PWInsider:

Matt Hardy was arrested on Monday afternoon 9/12 and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Hardy was pulled over in the early afternoon by Raleigh-Durhan International Airport Authority Officer Smith-Wynter after concern was made about the way he was operating his vehicle.

Hardy passed a breathalyzer test on the scene and had no alcohol in system based on the results, blowing a 0.00. At that point, North Carolina State Trooper Hans Ellefson, a Drug Recognition Expert, was brought in to examine Hardy.

In speaking to PWInsider.com this afternoon, Trooper Ellefson stated that he "conducted a series of tests on [Hardy] and determined he was impaired and unable to safely operate a vehicle."

Hardy, who had already been placed under arrest for DUI at that point, was given a blood test for further testing. The results of that exam were not available as of this writing.

Trooper Ellefson commented that he had ruled that Hardy was under the control of "Central Nervous System depressants" but until the results of the blood test were returned, could not make an official determination of what those depressants might be.

Hardy has a court date in Wake County, NC on 11/30 in regard to the DUI charge.

Hardy is also slated for a 9/28 court date for the Driving While Impaired charge that led to his TNA dismissal in Moore County, NC and a 10/11 court date in Wake County, NC on charges of reckless driving.

Matt Hardy Version 134.3. Now with beard.

Theo Dious 09-14-2011 08:30 PM

I am seriously concerned about Matt at this point. This shit is far beyond the level of regular jackassery. Something is very wrong with this man and someone needs to figure out what before he ends up sharing a locker room with Owen and Savage.

Xero 09-14-2011 08:35 PM

I think it's pretty clear by the responses (publicly) he's gotten from those who actually know him (Reby, Helms, Jeff's wife, etc) that they've tried everything they can and Matt just doesn't want help. Unless he wants help and reaches out, he's just going to continue on this downward spiral until he either gets arrested and locked up for a while or, well...

Theo Dious 09-14-2011 08:48 PM

Thing is that I don't trust any of those people to know their asses from a hole in the ground; Helms has proven on the internet that he's also susceptible to jackassery, and Mrs Jeff and Reby fuck Hardys.

Xero 09-14-2011 09:22 PM

I agree, but they're pretty much his circle. It's not like others (from JR to JBL) aren't echoing similar things to those close to him. And I'm sure other people have reached out to him.

WWE would pay for and help with any rehab he needs. He just won't take it.

That actually makes me think. I wonder if WWE is paying for Jeff's current rehab.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-14-2011 09:24 PM

Matt's forehead spells something. But I can't quite make it out.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-14-2011 09:24 PM

FOG maybe

Lock Jaw 09-14-2011 09:42 PM

Loose Cannon 09-14-2011 09:43 PM

Yea, just a big "D" for Dickhead

Somehow I don't think that offer extends to former employees in competitive organizations.

Though it does make me wonder, maybe this is a conspiracy by TNA to bankrupt McMahon by getting him to pay for rehab for Angle, the Hardys and unnamed others...

Xero 09-14-2011 10:01 PM

WWE's policy is that they will pay for anyone who asks who is a former employee. I don't remember who, but I know they actually paid for someone who never even worked for the company.

Couple of more details on the arrest

Quote:

TMZ.com has published the police report from Matt Hardy's arrest and the details are disturbing to say the least.

Matt Hardy was at the airport on Monday afternoon when police received several phone calls from concerned drivers who said Matt's car "almost hit two drivers three separate times."

When an airport police officer spotted Hardy, the wrestler's car, "swerved into the curb and then back onto the road."

Once Hardy was pulled over, the officer claims Hardy was asked to step out of the vehicle. Matt proceeded to open his door and get out of the car - without putting the car in park. The police report reads, "The vehicle rolled forward and I yelled for him to put the vehicle in park."

Matt Hardy was observed to have "slow and slurred speech, sleepy eyes and a very lackadaisical demeanor."

Hardy was asked to walk in a straight line but - "after taking two steps, Mr. Hardy lost his balance and failed to stay on the line." He was given a second chance but only made it "two or three steps" before failing to remain "heel-to-toe" and lost his balance again. Hardy took another field sobriety test where he had to stand on one leg. "He was unable to hold his leg up past 1 second."

Hardy took a breathalyzer test - which showed that he had zero alcohol in his system.

Cops then called in a "Drug Recognition Officer" to perform even more tests - and they determined Hardy was under the influence of "Central Nervous System depressants" and arrested him on the spot. Hardy's blood was taken for drug testing - and those results are not in as of this writing.

Hardy is due back in court [for this offense] on November 30th.

Shortly after the arrest, Matt Hardy's girlfriend Reby Sky tweeted, "F*ck this."

CSL 09-14-2011 11:04 PM

I don't give a fuck what Matt Hardy does, how many drugs he ingests, how many times he rolls his car into a tree and so forth but if Reby "Hotter than Lita and Ashley Massaro combined and I managed to pull her whilst at my least famous/valuable" Sky fucks him off because of his "wacky ways", homeboy needs a slap.

Emperor Smeat 09-14-2011 11:15 PM

:nono:

At this point I don't think even the WWE's rehab program would help him considering only 1-2 weeks ago he got busted and lost his license to drive in Virginia from a DUI/DWI.

Shisen Kopf 09-15-2011 07:51 AM

The Hardys should just pull a crash Holly or a Mike Awesome. These two are absolute jokes and if they die, they did it two themselves. Can't feel sorry for those shitheads

Xero 09-15-2011 04:47 PM

The following is from the Fayetteville Observer, which points out another accident Matt was involved in before his last arrest in August.

---

Former professional wrestler Matt Hardy of Moore County was charged with driving while impaired this week, his second arrest in less than a month.

Police at Raleigh-Durham International Airport arrested Hardy on Monday afternoon. A driver called airport police shortly before 2 p.m. to report that a 2011 red Chevrolet Camaro was swerving across traffic and had nearly hit two different cars three times, according to a police report.

When officers stopped the Camaro, they found 36-year-old Matthew Moore Hardy of the 300 block of Boys Camp Road in Cameron behind the wheel, the report said.

According to a police report, Hardy's speech was slurred and he appeared to be trying to "speak normally." When officers asked him to step out of the car, Hardy first tried to get out without putting the vehicle in park, the report said.

The former World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action wrestler said he was at the airport to pick up his girlfriend, 24-year-old Florida model Rebecca Victoria Reyes.

Police said a breathalyzer test was negative for the presence of alcohol. However, Hardy failed a field sobriety test by being unable to walk more than a few steps on a straight line, toe-to-toe, without stumbling.

A North Carolina Highway Patrol drug recognition officer examined Hardy and determined that he was under the influence of drugs, the police report said.

Hardy was charged with driving while impaired, and blood was drawn for lab analysis. Police took him to the Wake County Detention Center, where he was immediately released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to appear in District Court in Raleigh on Nov. 30.

State troopers charged Hardy on Aug. 20 with driving while impaired after he crashed his 2009 Chevrolet Corvette about a half-mile south of Vass in Moore County. The trooper reported that Hardy's breathalyzer test didn't detect alcohol, but Hardy appeared to be under the influence of a substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on that charge Sept. 28.

The day before his first arrest, Hardy was involved in a crash with his 2006 Cadillac on U.S. 1 in Southern Pines.

An officer found that he had run the car off the road and crashed into a guard rail near South Bennett Street.

Hardy told the officer that a car ran him off the road, causing him to crash, according to the accident report.

After the arrest in August, TNA Wrestling fired Hardy, who was already on probation.

Hardy is a former member of the famous Hardy Boyz wrestling team with his younger brother Jeff Hardy.

Jeff Hardy pleaded guilty last week to three felony drug charges and was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail and pay a $100,000, followed by 30 months on probation.

Xero 09-15-2011 04:48 PM

He needs to lose his fucking license. He's had, what, four or five of these incidents in like two months?

Rammsteinmad 09-15-2011 05:01 PM

XL 09-16-2011 01:06 PM

I think I see what's happening here.

Go back to 2000 when The Hardy Boyz first became super popular, who was the most over? Jeff.

Going forward Jeff was always the "popular Hardy", he went on to become a singles star capturing the IC, World and WWE Championships, whilst Matt languished in the midcard with a US Title reign the highlight of his singles run.

Jeff ends up in TNA, pushed as a big deal and wins the World Title there. Even in a WWE devoid of Jeff, Matt was still in the shadow of his younger and argubably less talented brother.

Throughout their careers NOTHING Matt has done has overshadowed Jeff.

Now we come to 2011 and Matt realises he can FINALLY out-do his sibling at being a major fuck-up.

He's made a good start.

Blakeamus 09-16-2011 09:33 PM

And he figures if his brother Jeff can only get 10 days of jail time...then what's so bad about a couple of DUI's?

St. Jimmy 09-17-2011 06:06 AM

If he's going to kill himself I wish he would do it in a way that does not ENDANGER OTHER PEOPLE. Selfish prick.

Rebecca Reyes (a/k/a Reby Sky), the 25-year-old girlfriend of Matt Hardy, was recently arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangering, and speeding charges.

Reyes, who hosts Lucha Libre USA on MTV2, is scheduled to appear in court on November 2 in Carthage, North Carolina.
This is not the former Playboy model’s first run-in with the law as in 2008, she was sentenced to 12 months’ probation, a $500 fine and 48 hours of community service after resisting arrest when she was pulled over for a broken tail light in December 2007 in Tampa, Florida. While the officer was writing her ticket, Reyes got out of her truck, and refused to get back in when asked, instead allegedly accosting the officer who had pulled her over and another that had arrived on the scene. When Reyes attempted to turn the confrontation physical, she was thrown to the ground and arrested.

Xero 09-19-2011 06:41 PM

May as well call this "The Cameron Bunch Thread", since this obviously isn't Hardy-specific.

Maybe "The Omega Thread".

Notice that the one guy from the "clique" who doesn't get into these messes is Shannon Moore. Wonder if he'll ever make an appearance in this thread.

He is too busy having action figures being made:

Matt is going to WWE-sponsored rehab.

From PWInsider:

Matt Hardy posted a video this evening announcing that he is going to enter a three month rehab program to get himself well. Hardy specifically thanked several WWE personalities, including Vince McMahon and Ann Russo, noting that they were going to help him.

Hardy, who became emotional towards the end of the announcement, noted that he had been self-medicating himself due to a number of injuries and over the last year, it had gotten the better of him. Hardy said that over the last month, he was trying to get himself clean and used "something else to balance" himself out, which is what led to his problems in recent weeks.

Hardy stated that his plan was to complete the rehab program, open a wrestling school and get back to being the "old Matt Hardy."

On behalf of everyone associated with the site, I sincerely wish Hardy the best of luck in getting himself and his health back together. I truly, truly hope he can do everything he needs to do for himself and his family so he can enjoy the quality of life he and they deserve.
