Very likely IGN messed up with the list reveal which might be why they took it down. Only other scenario is Piper and maybe a few others are are actually meant for DLC.

Locks would be determined because they're the only match that could conceivably be in from a given Mania (given the roster), the only match able to utilize a guy in the mode, or pretty much confirmed based on the attires that were shown.

In all honesty it's not terribly difficult to come up with that list. The only questionable ones are the ones in more recent Manias, where a lot of the people have fought against one another so you can really mix and match it in several ways. They didn't announce American Bad Ass Taker for the mode, only current Undertaker (which probably has hair as an alt) and Retro Taker with his old school attire. Because of this, I had to leave off HHH/Taker from WM 17 and Flair/Taker from WM 18. American Bad Ass might strictly be DLC only.

Some duplicate matches in there, but it would seem to be inevitable.</font>

Or Eddie, for that matter. Sure he didn't win his title match clean, but he was known for winning using shenanigans. Both the WWE and WHC matches were great, IMO.

HBK/McMahon, HHH/Cena, MITB, and Mickie James/Trish Stratus were all great matches. JBL/Benoit didn't disappoint either.

SvR '08 was terrible. Only good things about it were tournaments and the fact that Edge & Orton were a preset team and used the Rated-R.K.O. theme.

Wish Blockbuster was still around in more places. Could just rent this and beat Mania mode over a weekend and probably be done with the game for the most part.

It was alright but they took a bunch of shit from SvR '06 that wasn't broken (i.e. table mechanics) and tried fixing it and as a result, while still a solid experience, nonetheless felt like a HUGE step down from the previous iteration.

Yeah but Redbox has been pretty shitty about getting the WWE games anywhere near the release. Like the game comes out in like October and they get it in like January.
