Anonymous Donor: It's meee dixie!
josh matthews: awww son of a bitch! the pope: Well, Elijah Burke here! |
Hogan just got a pretty good payday a few months ago.....
Hulk Hogan spending the Gawker money sounds more realistic in all this. That's just what he does brother
Hogan is one of the reasons they're in this predicament to begin with.
Jeff Jarrett would be funny. Tobey Kieth maybe. Not Vince but Shane again? HHH? I don't know but its sounds like Dixie has been able to keep some of the company and it just like Billy Corgan and Arolux bailing them out for some ownership.
Shane McMahon wasn't on Smackdown last week.
Obviously busy buying TNA........ |
TNA just isn't announcing anything because they want to build buzz in the hopes that it will be extra buys. That's their MO for everything ever.
The anonymous donor?
TITO ORTIZ |
The entire cast of Jersey Shore will be making their return to TNA wrestling as the Board of Directors.
Hoping video of another tearful yet threatening Dixie Carter speech surfaces from tomorrow morning.
FUCK! Why won't it die?!?

Seems like Velvet Sky is more to blame since she mistimed the whole sequence although the time I watched TNA for a bit, Bell did come off as the worst one in her group.

Trump Now Awesome? |

It wouldn't surprise if Donald Trump did start running a wrestling company after the election. I know there are lots of smart wrestling fans around the world, but he's got the fan-base to start up a real rasslin company.
Hogan and Trump. Orange Championship Wrestling?
I wonder if there is even the slightest of chances if WWE does wind up purchasing it that they keep it going as a second developmental company. Even if they lose their POP TV deal, they could air Impact on the Network and basically just continue to just use the state of Florida as their breeding ground.
(I realize it's not actually going to happen......I'd just like to ensure that some of the talent still have a place to work if WWE doesn't want to bring them in immediately)

While not strictly a developmental company, they are handling a few of WWE's recent signees before they are ready for NXT. |
I wonder if Dolph Ziggler loses, jumps to TNA and becomes one of their top guys over there, working with the likes of Lashley.
They could really use a place to send talent when they have somewhat run their course on the main roster. Even the main event guys, like Orton, gets long in the tooth after a while. It'd be nice to have somewhere where these guys can go, have star time, be fresh again, and then return to main roster WWE and be bigger than ever.

What if it's Big Money Matt making his return?
It's Palmer Cannon! He's made it all the way from UPN to PopTV!
I'm sorry. That reference is as obscure as TNA is now.
Also, "The Slip and Fall of TNA" is amazing, Simple Fan. :y:
I was looking up pictures of Palmer Cannon and this photo came up:

Alberto El Patron has been spotted in Orlando.....................
Maybe he was taking WWE Paige to Disneyworld
Maybe he's the anonymous doner. Was talking about buying a MMA promotion maybe he just figured he'd get in on TNA. Don't really see TNA being able to afford him as a wrestler though.
