I'm guessing they want to get to Nikki vs Becky at Mania. I think the story of Nikki chasing the title after the neck surgery is a good one. Although maybe you create a heel girl faction with Bliss, Carmela and Natty. That way you have the group help Bliss win the belt which protects Becky, and then gives Nikki some obstacles to go through leading up to Mania.

Or maybe Becky is the one who laid out Nikki.

Combo of last week's Smackdown being a special episode and RAW getting the post-SS bump are likely the two main reasons why for the drop. That and possible viewer fatigue playing a role since it was the 4th night in a row for WWE wrestling shows.

Has she really gotten that much better in the ring? The last I saw her, people overrated her wrestling ability by A LOT because she was hot. She wasn't quite Kelly Kelly bad, but it was the same "underwater" style wrestling, with delays between her taking a move and bumping and shit. It was clear she was overthinking out there and evident she just couldn't work. If someone plans out spots for her and she goes out there and does a completely choreographed spot-fest, I imagine that is doable for her, but I don't consider that being "good in the ring." She can probably be carried.

The reason she doesn't get the same shit as the old Divas got is because she she's not being pushed as a top babyface and instead she is the mean bitchy heel which plays to our masochism as modern wrestling fans. Women's wrestling is also en vogue at the moment thanks to NXT, catching a spark that TNA started, and it's not cool to criticize the women objectively as performers, because they're trying really hard and being presented as real athletes now, which I personally feel is condescending as fuck.

I actually see a lot in her. She actually reminds me of Trish Stratus in several ways. I just don't think she's on the level people say she's on -- well, at least she wasn't two months ago -- and that's FINE. I just can't stand the gushing because people want to fuck her. And that goes into her charisma, but she is nowhere near the best woman on the roster -- especially when you rank them in terms of pure wrestling ability.

I have no doubt they are moving towards Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, but I'd rather see them put the Four Horsewomen together against four heels. It'll be interesting to see the crowd reaction if they do turn Becky heel against "But What About My Neck" Nikki Bella. In a lot of ways, Nikki is still a Diva too, and despite Tazz Dan telling me that she was the nicest person in the world (and I'm sure she is), makes a much better heel due to how pristine she is.

That crowd gonna turn and chant for her blood.

No blood in the current environment. And only a geek would cheer against Nikki reaching the mountain to after her ordeal and triumphant comeback.

Good thing all wrestling fans are geeks then.
