• I found myself agreeing with Styles during his promo and actually seeing where he was coming from.
Good promo though. • Carmella being added into the mix isn't really surprising, but why was Ellsworth holding his neck? • I was a bit surprised to see that Nickelodeon still uses gunge. We stopped using gunge over here 20 years ago. • Miz TV was so good as was Maryse's promo. Much like Styles, I could see where both Miz and Maryse were coming from and I found myself agreeing with them and feeling a bit sorry for them. What also helped Miz's point was Daniel Bryan (who just happens to be Nikki's brother-in-law) making the match at WrestleMania. It just gives Miz and Maryse more ammo to use against Cena and Nikki and actually makes both Miz and Maryse comes across as being the good honest guys and Cena and Nikki being the pricks. It would have been better if Shane made the match. Also, what are the betting odds for Cena proposing to Nikki in the ring after their match? • During the James/Bliss match I wondered "Why does Alexa Bliss always wear her T-shirt during her matches now?". • AJ's attack on Shane was pretty sweet and again, I found myself agreeing with it and seeing why he did it. It could have done without the camera in the car though. • Is it bad that I really don't care about Dolph Ziggler anymore? His heel turn has been shit so far and all he's really been doing is losing to a bunch of losers. • So that whole Orton/Bray thing. Was that Bray's way of letting us all know that he's the son of Satan? • Boring Baron Corbin promo. • Good to see American Alpha and the Usos on SmackDown again. I can only hope this leads to something at WrestleMania. I dunno about showing Shane plod about backstage during the match though. It sort of took away from the good tag team match. It's also strange that just last week I was wondering how Jamie Noble was getting on now, months after his stabbing and there he is, looking fit and healthy, so that was good to see. • The ending was pretty abrupt. Shane says "he does now" and then two seconds later, off goes SmackDown. |
I forgot to mention how good Chad Gable is at throwing.
