Holy shit Amy Jo Johnson is 40.

Kalyx triaD 11-27-2010 12:51 PM

Power Rangers was 20 years ago. Fuck. I still remember the first promos for MMPR.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-27-2010 08:21 PM

We demand Bulk and Skull to be in this series in some form! Make it happen Nick or pay the price of nobody watching!

And looking damn good for her age.

Dark-Slicer Diago 11-29-2010 09:42 AM

You could say that again.

Indeed.

Kalyx triaD 02-08-2011 12:37 AM

Some of the dialogue feels really awkward and forced, but it's well shot and pretty fun.

Jura 02-08-2011 11:34 AM

I think PR peaked at Lost Galaxy, at least for me it did. I lost interest after that. Magna Defender was the shiznit.

Kalyx triaD 02-08-2011 12:18 PM

I stopped watching at that point. It was years later I found out it was rather mature and had a badass ending.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-08-2011 12:25 PM

I rewatched a couple of years ago and gave up after Power Rangers in Space. Thought the ending kicked ass and didn't want to be disappointed.

Kalyx triaD 02-08-2011 12:27 PM

Yeah In Space had an epic ending. Could have ended the franchise on that note.

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-08-2011 12:29 PM

I continued watching from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers(S1) all the to Time Force, then I stopped watching it all together. It wasn't until Dino Thunder started that I decided to what again(mostly because JDF came back) and ended up getting into it all over again causing me to get every episode from every season, and it's good to know that Bulk is back for this season. To this day the only seasons I don't have have and never watched are Operation Overdrive(sans the Once A Ranger episode with Adam,Tori,Bridge,Sander and Kira) Jungle Fury and RPM.

I thought it was over after that at first, then they had the preview for LG.

Kalyx triaD 02-08-2011 12:38 PM

Overall I'll to have an epic DVD recap of the entire mythology. Licensing and such make that improbable now, but a collection will surface eventually. Then the marathon begins.

BigDaddyCool 02-08-2011 12:43 PM

power rangers is for faggots.

Or for kids and we were kids when it first aired. So, we are allowed to watch it using the "nostalgia clause." Though 2 of the 5 original rangers are gay, so yeah maybe you're right.

Jura 02-08-2011 01:04 PM

Well Power Rangers brought us these lovely ladies:

You are allowed to watch the original series. Not this new shit.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-08-2011 01:32 PM

Mighty Morphin, Xeo, Turbo and In Space are connected though. I haven't watched anything past that because it had a logical and fitting end.

Kalyx triaD 02-08-2011 01:34 PM

Zeo

/grammar police

Miss the days when series were connected. But team-ups were possible with entirely different teams.

Trade-offs.

Fignuts 02-09-2011 04:05 AM

Someone help me understand how this is appealing to adults. I've watched power rangers. It doesn't seem like one of those shows that is made for kids, but can still be enjoyed by adults. It seems tailor made, exclusively for kids.

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 01:59 PM

Can't help you there, mate.

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 04:35 PM

Yes, Bulk is back. But not Skull.

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-09-2011 04:36 PM

Spike is Skull's son.

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 04:50 PM

OH FUCK AWESOME

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 04:50 PM

...I'M OLD

Fignuts 02-09-2011 04:57 PM

Why can't you help me there?

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 05:02 PM

I honestly don't know what to tell you. I suppose I could explain why I keep up with the show, but that may not be why Dark-Slicer or anybody else is interested.

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-09-2011 05:06 PM

I watch them because for some reason I find still find it entertaining. That and it's funny seeing how corny most of it is.

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 05:08 PM

I enjoy the Japanese aesthetics, presentation, and the camp.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-09-2011 05:12 PM

WTF Bulk is back?! This changes everything! They just need to convince Skull to come back.

RoXer 02-09-2011 05:14 PM

Fringe is geting so good right now Kalyx

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 05:16 PM

I bet.

Fignuts 02-09-2011 05:19 PM

Just started watching Fringe. Awesome show.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-09-2011 05:24 PM

So this rangers show debuted two days ago? Why is it not on Hulu?

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-09-2011 05:25 PM

No idea, it is on Youtube though.

Kalyx triaD 02-09-2011 05:25 PM

idk, aren't there deals for that sort of thing? Not familiar with Hulu.

Savio 02-09-2011 06:19 PM

This thread should be canceled

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-09-2011 06:23 PM
