Cincy's Vontaze Burfict facing a possible suspension from the league after tape of him deliberately stomping on LeGarrette Blount's leg after the end of a play surfaced.

Already had an incident earlier in the Pats-Bengals game in regards to him pulling a cheap shot-like tackle to Martellus Bennett's knee.

Clerk 10-18-2016 10:44 PM

Don't care if they're in London, Giants should cut Brown right now

Evil Vito 10-20-2016 01:00 PM

Yeah, I can't justify it. I didn't join the lynch mob when there was no proof nor charges pressed against him. But now he's admitted to it. No excuses to keep him around.

Evil Vito 10-20-2016 01:15 PM

Just fly out Randy Bullock. He's already on the payroll for the year anyway.

Emperor Smeat 10-20-2016 04:58 PM

NFL considering suspending Josh Brown again because of the new documents even though he already served a suspension for this domestic violence incident earlier in the season.

NFL also ended up just fining Vontaze Burfict for the dirty hits he did during the Pats-Bengals game. Fined $75k as a punishment.

Innovator 10-20-2016 05:34 PM

Brown isn't traveling to London

Evil Vito 10-21-2016 02:04 PM

The Giants have signed Robbie Gould to kick this week. But they haven't released Brown and now Ben McAdoo just said "we aren't going to turn our backs on him."

What a fucking joke.

Emperor Smeat 10-21-2016 05:27 PM

NFL got trashed by the sheriff who was in charge of the Josh Brown domestic violence case.

NFL tried to claim they never had access to all the evidence available nor were aware of how serious the situation involving Brown and his wife was.

Sheriff stated NFL half-assed their original investigation since there was more evidence available the NFL refused to use. Reports from the media revealed the NFL knew about Brown's domestic problems and even provided protection on at least one occasion to his wife from the abuse.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-24-2016 12:10 PM

AFC East could be all bit sewn up next week. New England can get a 3 game lead over the Bills by winning.

Evil Vito 10-24-2016 12:38 PM

The AFC East was sewn up before the season started tbh.

Ruien 10-24-2016 05:51 PM

The only thing the Pats care about is getting home field advantage through the playoffs. Winning the division is kind of a given.

69 Touchdowns for Gronk.

Emperor Smeat 10-30-2016 02:20 PM

:D Gronk

Evil Vito 10-30-2016 02:32 PM

How the fuck was Gronk a second round pick?

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-30-2016 02:42 PM

He had a back injury in his junior year.

Evil Vito 10-30-2016 02:44 PM

I guess that makes sense. The Pats were already good so they could have afforded to roll the dice on somebody who is amazing but injury prone, but still.

Just one look at his tape would have made me draft him.

Lots of improvements by the Pats compared to the first game earlier in the season at Gillette.

Could have more in the future if the NFL ends up going through with some anti-kicker plans they have like making the uprights even narrower than now.

Evil Vito 10-30-2016 05:21 PM

Wade Phillips just went down hard on the sideline and got stretchered off. :(

Oakland, man. Broke the record for penalties, and won.

Emperor Smeat 10-31-2016 02:50 PM

Pats traded LB Jamie Collins to the Browns in return for a 3rd/4th Round draft pick.

3rd round if the pick is compensatory else its just a regular 4th round pick.

Main reason for the trade is money and Pats not wanting to give him Von Miller type money he is demanding for a new deal.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-31-2016 03:19 PM

Damn that's rough.

Pretty much guaranteed Chargers are leaving San Diego. New stadium ballot question got rejected during last night's election. Only got 43% approval but needed at least 66% to pass due to California laws related to special tax hikes needed to pay for it.

Team has until January 15th to make a decision on its future with the options being stay in San Diego and try to muster up a new stadium deal or bolt for LA since the Raiders picked Vegas as their new future home.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-10-2016 11:55 PM

Who y'all got? Bingals or Giants? Idk who to pick cuz the Giants could win because there facing Andy Dalton but then again the Bingals could win because there both facing Eli Manning. Doesn't really matter who wins tho tbh because both teams won't make the playoffs and if they do they will barely make it and get knocked out 1st round. Only watching because I love watching sorry teams try for no reason lol

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2016 03:19 PM

Tony Romo is currently rumored to want a trade or play for the Broncos next season. He's also looking at a few other teams as options but Broncos are rumored to be his first choice at the moment.

Quote:

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Romo is looking at the Broncos for 2017.

Rapoport said on Sunday that Romo "already has eyes on the Broncos as a possible destination if (Denver) general manager John Elway decides Paxton Lynch needs another year and that Trevor Siemian isn't the guy."

Other destination options for Romo could include the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills, according to Rapoport.

Career wise, he's barely above .500 for a win-loss record.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-21-2016 02:15 AM

No idea how he survived the move to LA.

Emperor Smeat 11-22-2016 04:46 PM

City of Oakland trying one last attempt to keep the team there after an early agreement on a new stadium was made.

Only catch is the Raiders weren't involved in the talks and the league itself might still vote in favor of the move to Vegas. Raiders are only guaranteeing two more seasons in Oakland since the new Vegas stadium needs time to be built.

ClockShot 11-22-2016 07:22 PM

I thought the back up plan if the Raiders did move was to play at Sam Boyd Stadium while their new place was under construction.

Pretty sad the City of Oakland finally figured out that O.co was falling apart.

Emperor Smeat 11-29-2016 12:07 AM

Even though they are denying it, NFL rumored to be considering dropping Thursday Night games for future seasons as part of the things to be discussed during this offseason.

Current contract for Thursday games ends after next season.

Quote:

The NFL just issued a statement saying, “We are fully committed to Thursday Night Football, and any reports to the contrary are unfounded.” The report in question comes from respected NFL writer Mike Florio, founder of NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk.com. Citing a source, he says the league will consider “the possibility of ending, or at least limiting, Thursday Night Football.” The current deal for the package shared by CBS and NBC expires after next season; the games also air on the league-owned NFL Network and are streamed on Twitter.

Florio says the league’s options include sidelining the Thursday games outright or perhaps starting the package on Thanksgiving each year and continuing throughout the season, “with games likely to generate broad interest selected in April for November/December programming.”

According to ESPN, Chargers set to make an official announcement of them moving to LA by next month regardless of San Diego's latest efforts on a new stadium deal.

Quote:

Barring a miracle, the San Diego Chargers are expected to exercise the team's option to move to Los Angeles in 2017, sources told ESPN's Jim Trotter ...

Chargers chairman Dean Spanos has to alert the league that he intends to exercise that option by next month's deadline.
Moving to LA has a pricey catch for the team though.

Quote:

The Chargers have a tenant-lease agreement with Rams owner Stan Kroenke that lowers the team's risk because they do not have to borrow money for construction of the $2.6 billion project.

The Rams and Chargers would jointly share revenue such as naming rights, suites, sponsors and advertising. The teams would be on their own to sell season tickets and personal seat licenses ...

However, the risk for Spanos is that the franchise would be on the hook for a $650 million relocation fee paid over 10 years, determined during the January owners meeting in Houston.

The Chargers also would have to purchase land and construct a practice facility, which would cost tens of millions of dollars.
