Baron Corbin's presence disappears whenever he opens his mouth. The vignettes they put together were alright, but keep that guy away from a live mic. The guy needs a manager, ASAP.

He'd have been a pretty good Wyatt in lieu of Rowan being injured.

NXT books him in a couple of quick squashes, and the fans decided to start counting down his matches. Then they started booing when he stopped breaking his time record and had to work longer matches. Well shit, what did you expect?

I really don't know what they expected from the guy. He is what he is: a big dude with a power moveset. He's never going to be able to wrestle a technical masterpiece. But the fact that the fans just boo and chant boring the second the match starts now seems like they're trying to get themselves over. A frequent occurrence with Full Sail, really.

A manager would definitely help him out, though.</font>

See this is that I tell folk. Eva Marie can be an AWESOME heel champ along the lines of Maryse. She can get her behind beat until her opponent makes that ONE mistake which Eva can apply a finisher and win.

i don't think the booing has anything to do with not beating the squash time record, but in the fact that he was exposed as an awful worker when forced to work an actual match. his moveset consists of next to nothing, and he doesn't have the mic skills to compensate for that. or at least he hasn't shown it yet. if he could add some more power moves, it would go a long way. he doesn't need to be a mat technician, but at least show some variety. i'm still holding out hope that he and joe can put on a good match and he can come out looking strong. he's got a good look, but right now he's just got that and a solid finisher.

Arena setup for tonight's special. According to people at the arena, outside was packed full of people waiting to get in along with several "Full Sail sucks" chants as a counter to the "Brooklyn sucks" chants from the recent tv episodes.

I actually had no clue that Aiden English was engaged to Shaul Guerrero. He's also younger than Simon Gotch by like five years. Also, Gotch's Wiki page lists him as having been partially trained by Daniel Bryan.

Haven't read the spoilers (if they exist), and don't want to, but I know what my heart is screaming for as far as Bayley's next program goes:

* Bayley comes out to celebrate her Women's Title win. In street clothes. Maybe jeans, her "I'm a Hugger" shirt with a jacket over the top. She's not doing her usual gimmick entrance -- she's more relaxed and kind of has a justified swagger about her. But the inflatable people come out, because it's a scheduled segment for her.

* She thanks the fans, and says she has a lot to say, but she wants to hear what they say about her as the NXT Women's Champion. The crowd cheers. She thanks her super-fan at ringside, because she believed in her even more than she did herself. Everyone is super-happy and emotional.

* Bayley specifies that she knows this isn't the destination, but part of the journey. She earned the Women's Title at Takeover Brooklyn, but she knows that she will have to re-earn it every time she puts it on the line.

* William Regal's music hits, and the NXT General Manager comes out, looking rather troubled -- head hanging low, shaking, etc. He says that there are a lot of people he wants to thank for the success that was the biggest show in NXT history, but this is Bayley's time, so to one-half of his main events, he wants to say thank you. And I'm sorry.

* I'm sorry? What? Cue some guitar riff, and out comes NXT Head Female Trainer, Sara Amato, in her ring gear.

* Amato enters the ring and points at Bayley, then at herself, then at the NXT Women's Title. Bayley looks around the audience (hopefully chanting "YES!"), and nods her head. Amato then offers her hand. Bayley shakes her head. She stretches out her arms (she is a hugger after all). Amato shakes her head. She then forearms Bayley in the fucking face.

* Amato beats down Bayley, then hits maybe one big move and sends Bayley out, where William Regal helps her. Amato is your new #1 Contender for the NXT Women's Championship.

I was thinking earlier today how it'd be a nice little "thank you" for the work she's putting in to the women's division if she got to do something on WWE TV.

Really wish Enzo and Cass had won the titles that night... that was logically where the story should have gone, and the roof would have blown off the place....

I enjoy the Vaudevillains but it just seemed out of place/cutting into the natural story with Enzo/Cass/Carmella vs. Blake/Murphy/Alexa....

Also find it weird how people who call themselves "villains" can be the good guys...

It did look goofy but Charlotte overreacted badly which made it worse. Instead of just attacking Emma, she does the legit ending and later knees Dana's face as punishment.

Thought pinning Emma for the fuck of it was funny. But yeah, clearly a fuck up.

That ending did come off as botched, but I think Emma going over is actually the right call. Charlotte and Becky Lynch should be putting over the next wave of heels for Bayley to beat, and Emma is in that pack. She's fucking rocking her new gimmick by the way. And she looks amazing.

Anyway, the Charlotte win was unnecessary, but kudos to them on how they covered it up. Great work by all, even if they got boo-boo faces on a bit. Professional shit at the end.
