You just tried to convince us all that Ryan Fitzpatrick was the Most Valuable Player of the National Football League. You're not thinking straight enough to judge me on what I say.

McLegend 12-12-2010 09:50 PM

Really hate The Eagles offensive line, and the defenses inability to tackle.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 09:50 PM

@SlickTrickWhatever SHUT THE FUCK UP dude, damn. I said he should be, just because of how valuable he is. Its going to be Brady, Vick, or Brees.

God, dont even know why im replying to you. The no-call on the hit on Vick is bullshit, i don't care what you say. And this "reception" that should've been overturned. Goodnight.

Agreed. Vick is making them look good by being able to scramble.

The tackling is just people not doing what they are taught every practice. I miss the 2001-2007 Eagles D :(

IN bounds with the ref looking directly at Vick's feet. Ref doing his job knowing that a late-hit out of bounds would be possible. Trying to make the right call making sure it was in bounds. If Vick can't take a push IN BOUNDS like that out of bounds he should just leave the NFL.

Also he's not a QB when he leaves the pocket, so he is treated like a WR/RB/TE would be.

There is your photo proof, now I await your apology for being wrong.

McLegend 12-12-2010 10:08 PM

If that's Tony Romo it's getting called.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 10:15 PM

Dude, he's just an Eagles mark as I am a Patriots mark. I'm not going to see logic when you talk about the Patriots and whatever negative things you can say about them.

Doesn't mean I don't expect people to not point out things about them that are negative. Or swear at people who call me out on being full of shit.

It wasn't a late hit both announcers said that that it wasn't after they checked that both feet were in bounds during initial contact. The ref had his eyes directly on VIck's feet with his whistle in hand. He was waiting for the feet to hit and they did after he got pushed down hard, but legally to the ground and out of bounds.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 10:18 PM

Need to at least get a FG on this drive

McLegend 12-12-2010 10:19 PM

Yeah but with the way they call everything now I don't get how there wasn't a flag thrown on that play, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 10:22 PM

btw, im going to need the Eagles to run the damn ball when we are 10 yards from the endzone. Make the D line of the Cowgirls work a little.

Just because QBs are protecting in the pocket doesn't mean they are going to be coddled when they try to leave the pocket.

Really? Come the fuck on man! The ref was looking directly (right at) Vick's feet. Since he never took his eyes off his feet he knew he was in bounds when he got pushed.

Just because you looked at the strength of the hit and it was hard don't think there will be a flag because it was a hard push. This is football a game for MEN! It wasn't a head attack it was a push to the chest down to the ground. They don't give a shit about the players unless it affect their head because of all the negative publicity from concussions from the death of Chris Henry from post-concussion mental disorder.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 10:25 PM

Come on Vick you are my starting QB in my fantasy league! You can't be throwing these INTS!! :foc:

McLegend 12-12-2010 10:28 PM

Nah flag definitely should have been thrown.

If the rules keep changing the way that have during the course of this season, pretty soon the NFL will be a one-hand touch league, because two-hands will be too violent.

I was really hoping that last week during pregame warmups that the Steelers and Ravens would have come out wearing flags.

I do actually anticipate that if there IS a season next year, that QBs will have to wear the "bubble" helmets.

Why don't just just throw a flag for every QB sack too? Or how about a flag for yelling snap counts cause it's too loud and it hurts the players ears?

How about a penalty for every touchdown that you get when you are up by 14 points or more cause it hurts the other teams feelings.

You get a touchdown when you successfully write a poem about how the touchdown hurts your feelings.:heart:

FearedSanctity 12-12-2010 10:48 PM

Oh man, it's a good thing Denver fired McDaniels with 4 games left instead of letting him finish the season out. What improvement they've made. From losing by 4 to the division leaders last week under McD to a huge one-sided victory over Arizona under the Interim-HC Studesville.

Oh...wait...

parkmania 12-12-2010 10:50 PM

They probably looked at Dallas and Minnesota's success under interim HCs and figured "Why not us?"

FearedSanctity 12-12-2010 10:51 PM

Because Garrett and Frasier have been HC candidates for a while. Whereas Studesville has never, besides now, risen above being a position coach

Probably wanted to make sure it just wasn't just McDaniels who was over his head. They want to put their entire coaching staff over their head so they can just fire EVERYBODY in the coaching staff in the off-season and start fresh next season.

Even though he isn't the coach it is still his team. Their QB is somebody who McD traded for. He traded a diamond in the rough RB who is now kicking ass for a rejuvinated division rival.

I'm sure we will see a clean house end of the season. There will be a new Coach, Coordinators, Quarterback, Quarterback Coach. The only sure thing on that team is Brandon Lloyd unless they fuck up and cut him or trade him to get a new QB. :shifty:

parkmania 12-12-2010 10:58 PM

Somebody needs a fine for not acting like they've ever scored a touchdown before.

Grow the fuck up, you and Chad Johnson and T.O.

EDIT: I know there are other guys who do it, but those are the most blatant ones.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 11:02 PM

I thought you could celebrate with yourself just as long as you didn't use the ball as a prop. Jackson should do it again if he scores to give the Cowboys a big :foc:

He just had a 200 yard day on a bad ankle with a score. I think he deserves to celebrate all he wants just as long as the ball goes in the endzone. Unlike those two clips they showed after the celebration.

SammyG 12-12-2010 11:05 PM

lol, love having Desean on my fantasy team

How long have you been watching football?

Dude got a penalty and a $50k fine for hitting cutler last week, while he was carrying the ball past the line of scrimmage..

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 11:09 PM

I'm trying to find a clip to see why it was called. Can you embed it?

15k but whatever..

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 11:15 PM

It looked like a punch to the head. That's why the youtube file is called 'Suh's Forearm Punch to Cutler."

It is what the refs see and it was a little bit too fast. The line judge could only see one forearm. So, it was a bad call just because he didn't see the entire 360 view. The fox commentator (and you, me and everybody else) has the luxury of a 360 view. Perception is reality.

Also if the NFL fined him then they thought that it was close enough to a punch to warrant a small fine.

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 11:16 PM

He pushed his shoulders.. If that had been to a RB a flag wouldn't have even been thrown..

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 11:23 PM

If somebody is precieved to throwing a punch no matter who they are they are flagged. Hell they usually get ejected.

It looked like a punch if you look at what the line judge is looking at. Which is who called the foul.

Evil Vito 12-12-2010 11:25 PM

God dammit Cowboys

McLegend 12-12-2010 11:32 PM

Great win. The olde dongslinger has enough left.

McCoy is awesome btw.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 11:36 PM

YESSSS, McCoy is definitely a beast. I see Andy balancing run & pass more now. Good win for my EAGLES!

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 11:37 PM

A forearm shiver is not a punch. Jesus. Stiffarms are closer to punches than that and those are legal.

Evil Vito 12-12-2010 11:39 PM

What an asshole! Probably wanted to draw a foul because he stepped out of bounds and then wouldn't have tried to get back in bounds cause he was on his face.

Show some balls Rex Ryan and fire this son of a bitch!

Jeritron 12-13-2010 12:43 AM

Rex Ryan won't do shit. That's why it happened to begin with, obviously.
