Personally, I think he was taken out of context, though. He actually said if their team performs as well as he knows they can, then he can guarantee a win (though nothing about THAT part of the quote was ever said).

Oh, and is it me, or should've that entire Moss/Brady flea flicker be called an incomplete pass the second Moss juggled it? I'm not sure of the rule on that, but I'm pretty sure it hit the ground, and the refs never blew the whistle (and Tomlin, I think, made a huge mistake of not even considering a challenge on that one, because I think he could've won that). Would that've been an incomplete pass or Moss recovering a fumble? If it's an incomplete pass, the Pats got away with a BIG one. I may be hated on for asking this, but what the fuck, I'm asking anyway, so NOW WHAT?!

Smith is an idiot and I hope his teammates gave him a blanket party, heck even Farrior took a shot at him after he said it.

and yes, he went on to say "if we play as good as we...." but that was after the gaurantee... and he talked about how he's always been a winner... christ sake.. he's only started 4 games due to injury... then to make it worse in the pre-game he went up to Brady and talked shit... how great was it they kept throwing at him.

oh and the Moss play was a fumble, for it to be an incomplete pass it would have been forward in which case Moss throwing it back and Brady throwing it both would have been illegal fwd laterals... so, actually one of the few things Tolmin did right was not challenge that play.

Originally, I figured Pats v. Steelers re-match for the AFC championship, but after that game... I see little reason the Colts wont destroy them...

19 TD passes from Brady to Moss, the most ever from one QB to one WR in a single season.

Also, Brady is very close to breaking the single season TD pass, QB rating and completion percentage records. He is also like 900 or so yards from catching Dan Mario's single season yardage record, could be a pretty big record breaking year depending on how the Patriots play these last few games.

As soon as Vick got pinched it was gonna be a rough ride for him. I thought picking up Byron Leftwich would sorta save them. That didn't work out.

They are playing the Giants the last game, the Dolphins are the second to last game....really though neither games matter for anything, as they can lose 2 games and still have home field throughout the playoffs.
