Simply she isn't a "bad owner".

Everyone talks about how they left the #2 market, yet it's 10? years later... maybe more? and they still don't have a team there...

Clearly she made the right business move and they appeard in 2 superbowls and won one of them.

Can't agree she's a horrible owner...

But, if I was a Rams fan who had my team ripped away I can see being upset.

That was more like 5 sentences, MTH..

Kris P Lettus 12-14-2007 09:28 AM

Not even counting your QB play, MTH, Brees picked your D apart and our THIRD string RB ran for 100 yards against them..

Also, I was talking about games like the Jags game anyway, shithead..

ClockShot 12-14-2007 11:25 AM

Damn Broncos.

D Mac 12-14-2007 01:47 PM

We all suck here in the AFC West. :(

FearedSanctity 12-14-2007 02:09 PM

Yeah, remember when the AFC West was the best division in football? Like 2 years ago? Lucky the division leader is guaranteed to go to the playoffs, otherwise none of the teams would or should

I don't see how the fact that LA has yet to get another team means it was a good business move to leave.

FearedSanctity 12-14-2007 02:38 PM

Also, Denver can STILL make the playoffs, but they need either the Browns (Buf, Cin, SF) or San Diego (Det, Den, Oak) to lose out, and of course Denver would need to win out. No way the Browns even lose one, but I can see SD losing two, possibly to Detroit this week since they seem to have problems with injuries this week, and Denver if they can manage to get their shit together in the next 10 days. Can't at all see them lsoing to Oakland though

Didn't he lose a bet? what was it, change that tag for like 1day? At least when you, me, trips, RP make bets we honor it... usually through the seasons end and sometimes to the next season.

But in all fairness... he ranks NFL players based on Madden, He thought the NFL sentenced Vick to Jail and he's 12... so we should probably go easy on him..

1) I fail to see how it was a bad business move on her part. Clearly she got a great deal to move to STL and the performance of the team has little to do with it's location.

2) If LA is always talked about as this great football market and she made a bad business decision by leaving, then why hasn't a team gone back? Expansion or a moved team...

I just don't see the argument as to how it was a bad business deicison, the only thing brought up was Merchandise sales... The Raiders are one of the top every year, it has little to do with their teams performance, has a lot to do with it being popular gang colors and even still it's a moot point because (unless it changed and I missed it) NFL Merchandise sales are pool'ed and split evenly. This was the whole basis of Al Davis Law Suit againt the NFL, the Raiders sold so much do to the popular colors and the gang use he didn't want to split the funds, it's like the NFL had (maybe still does) a deal with Pepsi and it was for every single stadium in the NFL and Jerry Jones went and struck a deal with Coke for his stadium...

So, yeah, I don't see how she made a bad business decision and is a bad owner... but I'm open to hearing reasons to prove otherwise, maybe she's done a lot I don't know about... maybe they're always 50% under the cap, or she spend money for a good coach (who wouldn't have known Martz was a great #2 but a horrible head coach...)...

Kris P Lettus 12-14-2007 04:37 PM

He was supposed to keep it a week..

I don't really care because the oldest NFL rivalry in the South is getting dominated by the Saints, and by the looks of it, will be for a long time..

Fuck the Falcons..

SammyG 12-14-2007 05:09 PM

DA DURRTY DURRTY ATL FALCONZ

ANYWAY. Yeah, Bulger starting Sunday. Nothing at stake for us obviously, but I have a shitload of Pack fans for really good friends, would love to beat them.

Also, SammyG, I don't feel your offensive line matches up well to us. If STL scores a touchdown tomorrow...my money would not be on it being by the offense.

Hmmmmm. Interesting.

There's a rumor going around that Wayne Huizenga might be selling the Dolphins.

Look at the top jersey sales, all shit boxes

Vick
Owens
Moss (Although he is seemingly changed)

LT sells well because he broke records and the powder blues are fucking sweet.

Rams need a new uniform scheme.

How has Moss changed, but not Owens, you inconsistent dyke.

Fuck of and die.

That was a joke because everyone is on Moss' nuts.

VonErichLives 12-16-2007 12:05 PM

stupid SF... they're not supposed to win... not with our 1st round pick on the line.

That being said, there is already a rumor about the pick say top 5, going to Miami for later picks and Jason Taylor...

pardon me while I blow my load on the idea of Taylor in a Patriot Uniform playing OLB.

Crimson 12-16-2007 12:23 PM

Wow..that's actually not a bad trade..depends what future pick though..stupid Dolphins will probably throw in next years #1 and the Pats will be in the same situation. But Taylor and a couple of 2nd rounders or something like that wouldn't be that bad.

Mr. Monday Morning 12-16-2007 01:14 PM

After Welker if they make that trade there will be riots

D Mac 12-16-2007 03:38 PM

Well looks like Chiefs are gonna lose 7 in a row. :(

D Mac 12-16-2007 03:46 PM

Brodie Croyle needs a lot of work.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-16-2007 03:47 PM

Fuck no TD passes for Brady this week

Pats stay undefeated tho

D Mac 12-16-2007 04:02 PM

7 in a row. Good season Chiefs you faggots.

Dunno, he's going to be 34 next season and the Phins aren't close to winning... have a 34yr old star or two top 5 picks?

Also, Welker has been great with how NE has used him, but would he have made that much of a diffeence in Miami vs. the 2nd round pick they got? They took a Center who is starting for them now...

I wouldn't do it for a top 5 pick unless NE gets a few picks with it.

You also may have a situation where Taylor wants a trade because he wants a shot at a Superbowl before he hangs it up.

Who would have thought.. next week... two wins streaks colide...

NE - 14 in a row!
Miami - 1 in a row!

SammyG 12-16-2007 04:36 PM

lol, Pack got every single fucking call in that game. Not sayin we woulda won, but still, pretty ridiculous. Nice to see Favre get that record, he is tremendous. Steven had a big game, at least.

OssMan 12-16-2007 04:38 PM

I am waiting all day for sunday night

RP 12-16-2007 06:28 PM

Reggie Wayne just made one of the sickest 1 handed catches ever.

Innovator 12-16-2007 06:30 PM

Romo is shitting the bed, and TO is about to start doing sit ups in his driveway

RP 12-16-2007 06:31 PM

lol

SammyG 12-16-2007 06:38 PM

Damnnaaa, Eagles. That touchdown woulda helped a lot. Meh. 4 point game with 13 mins to go.

McLegend 12-16-2007 06:39 PM

This is the worse game ever. You just know Romo is gonna make a comeback.

RP 12-16-2007 06:46 PM

Eagles will find a way to lose it.

McLegend 12-16-2007 06:55 PM

Of course they will

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-16-2007 07:01 PM

Yeah this game is fucking awful and there is no 4:15 game on CBS for me (plus when the Pats where on earlier there was no game on Fox at 1pm) . No options :(

SammyG 12-16-2007 07:06 PM

4th and 2....

Pretty big gamble rite here.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-16-2007 07:09 PM
