I didn't say all of them. I never cared for Lita though. Not as a wrestler I mean.

Victoria was a great one-word name too.

Still the question hasn't been fully answered: why the one-name thing. I don't fully get it.

Easier to remember maybe. Most of the serious woman's wrestlers used first and last names.

Even then, that's not really the case. Who would you consider the "serious woman's wrestlers"? You've got some like Trish Stratus, Mickie James, Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix... but then you've got Tara/Victoria, Winter, Rosita, Sarita, Chyna, Natalya, Tamina, Lita, Santina :shifty: ...

In fact, nearly the only time guys do the first name only thing is when they're doing it as part of a tag team name. Christian, Primo, Epico, etc.

... did you just count "Queen" as Sharmell's first name?

So, Sherri Martel's first name was "Sensational"? :shifty:

Also, Sharmell kinda flew in the face of your point, she only used her first name as well when she wasn't going by Paisley or even whatever the hell her Nitro Girl name was.

Perhaps DDP?

(Note: I am aware that Kelly Kelly is not her real name.)

2 top level "soccer" players named Gary Neville and Phil Neville had a dad that played league cricket. His name? Neville Neville.

I shit thee not.

Corporate CockSnogger 06-10-2012 06:32 AM

Probably the first time I've ever seen Phil Neville considered to be a "top level" player.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-10-2012 07:03 AM

I meant that as a technicality, as in he plays in the top level.

Kind of like how you'd still call Harry Kewell a top-level player even after being sold to Liverpool.

Whatever money they would have gotten from DVD sales would have already been just about finished by this point.

should be awesome to see what they do with it

I would love to see dvds for JYD, Duggan and Dibiase now that they have this footage

A source within WWE has noted that there are already discussions internally to do a DVD documentary on the promotion as well as DVDs on Ted DiBiase, Junkyard Dog and Hacksaw Duggan. All three men were huge stars for the Watts territories.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Sable, who is 44-years-old, will soon become a grandmother. Her 21-year-old daughter Mariah is pregnant with her first child and expected to give birth in September, reports RenaLesnar.net.

Rammsteinmad 06-10-2012 03:32 PM

Am I the only one who feels 44 is a ridiculous age to become a grandmother?

Cool King 06-10-2012 03:43 PM

Yes.

Triple Naitch 06-10-2012 04:17 PM

Babies havin' babies havin' babies.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-10-2012 04:33 PM

It is ridiculous. 28 is the ideal age to be a grandmother.

It kinda seems like it until you realize that she was 23 when she had her kid and her kid is now 21... which isn't that ridiculous of an age to have a kid.

Triple Naitch 06-10-2012 04:36 PM

Going for a British joke here

CSL 06-10-2012 04:48 PM

not actually sure if 3xNaitch intentionally put "AYE" there as another scouse crack as opposed to expressing confusion :o

Triple Naitch 06-10-2012 04:51 PM

Unintentionally intentional

King of the Forum 2012 Campaign: Wrestling Forum Edition

Hey, guys. I know most of you do not venture out of the wresting forum and into casual, but I need your help. Tazz Dan (the tyrant mod of the wrestling forum) is going against yours truly. In order to advance to the next round and put an end to his tyranny you MUST vote for me in King of the Forum. Remember, he is a mod and therefore the enemy.

I'll put it in pictures so some of you can understand.

Gentlemen, this type of aggression is coming from a Tazz Dan supporter. Please do not let this influence your vote or anything.

Tazz Dan 06-10-2012 06:32 PM

Do you really want to come back from certain defeat and have your win purely through shameless pandering Triple Naitch?

Is that the kind of KoTF you as the amazingly wonderful people of the tpww.net wrestling forum want?
