I kinda like the idea of Nia Jax being a monster heel, but Eva Marie has deluded her into believing she's a dominant face.

Dear Jesus, how epic would it be for Eva Marie to win the women's title. I'd be all for a 30 day run, just for the heat factor.

I'm hoping that as Eva Marie hasn't been on TV for over a month (which means she has had 2 months of further training) that she blows us all away in this match against Bayley.

Yeah me neither really. He wasn't getting used and I never really felt it as far as his matches went. He was supposedly pretty good on the indies, so he should be in a good place as far as getting work goes.

This was one of the best NXT episodes I have ever seen. Everything from the contract signing to Lil Naitch establishing the corporate involvement with Eva Marie was done very well I felt.

I really wish that Eva Marie was a lick of good in the ring, because as XL said, I found myself thinking that I wouldn't have minded a title switch "given the scenario".

I think there would be theoretical "money" in Bayley chasing Eva Marie, corporate champion. And then in Asuka murdering Eva Marie, corporate champion.

Yeah, but this way they solve the issue of Nia Jax coming off generic big woman. Bayley vs Nia Jax at Takeover London and next major event for rematch, and Asuka vs Nia Jax later should be good.

Talent be damned, I'd have done the switch to Eva Marie. As a champion, I don't see much value in Bayley as a long-term champion. Obviously she needs to succeed to prove to little girls and boys that you can "make it," but the money is in her chasing. Eva Marie -- with Nia Jax as her enforcer -- would have been a tremendous heel champion. That's the sort of champion Nikki Bella should have been.

Given that the WWE have already worn out Charlotte, Paige and Becky Lynch, I'm thinking more and more that the money women's match at WrestleMania 32 is Sasha Banks defending against Bayley. NXT can survive with Eva Marie, corporate champion; Nia Jax, bad-ass enforcer; Asuka, bringer of death; Emma & Dana, bitch heel team; and Billie & Peyton, adorable plucky faces for a few months. You've also got Carmella and Alexa Bliss down there doing their thing on the face and heel side, respectively, and Athena yet to make her debut. I'd like to see Sarah Stock on TV in the Natalya role too.

The remix or new song they gave for Blue Pants' return sounded horrible. Should have just kept Big Cass' rendition of the song.

Probably someone got their panties in a knot about copyright.

If it was, should have at least gotten someone else to sing the remix. Whoever it was sounded really bored and/or forgot what the new lyrics were supposed to be.

Glad to see Ciampa getting more tv matches on NXT too, even if it went exactly like I thought it would.

I was going to miss it, but I decided to give NXT a watch this week. Emma vs. Asuka is good stuff. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable are main roster ready.
