Wow Derek Anderson is playing today like he was supposed to the rest of the season. 2 ints on his last two pass attempts of the 1st half, both lead to Bengals TD's, score would've been 6-0 @ half instead it's 19-0

SammyG 12-23-2007 03:01 PM

lollllllllllllll Packers

RP 12-23-2007 03:18 PM

RP 12-23-2007 03:21 PM

I need to see Jim Sorgi throw a TD

Crimson 12-23-2007 03:24 PM

Wait..could the Giants still miss the playoffs if they lose today? They got the Pats next week, lol.

We could rest up Romo now :)

Mr. Monday Morning 12-23-2007 03:25 PM

Assuming they don't beat the Pats next week, yeah they could still miss out. Although with the Saints losing it might not matter, depending on what happens with the Skins later.

Crimson 12-23-2007 03:33 PM

Ohhhh Giants just got a defensive td..lucky bastards

SammyG 12-23-2007 03:38 PM

Salary Cap

Crimson 12-23-2007 06:43 PM

If that's the case, Jerry Jones should pony up the dough!

McLegend 12-23-2007 07:21 PM

Dovann F. McNabb

Kris P Lettus 12-23-2007 08:29 PM

:foc:

Minn could always drop both of the last games, but then again, with the coaching and defensive play we've been showing, we'd prolly drop 38 to Kyle Orton next week..

Kris P Lettus 12-23-2007 08:38 PM

I posted this about Sean Payton at another board..

Yeah, I blame him (Payton)..

Football is a game of momentum.. You've seen it hundreds of times.. A team is down in the fourth then great D stop that leads to a punt return TD, that leads to an onsides kick etc etc etc..

That challenge on the second and goal when we had all the momentum in the world and their D was on their heels was the turning point of the game.. It didn't gain us shit and gave their D rest that then lead to them making that goalline stop.. No way they would've stopped it if we'd just lined up and pounded it with Stecker or run PA and tossed to a TE.. No way..

I learned today that when Payton was the Off. Coor. in New York, that Parcel took his play calling ability cause Payton had what the Tuna called "the sickness".. Payton is a good coach but he makes really really bad decisions sometimes..

I am with you on the D, but besides looking horrible against the run, what was different about them today?? We know they give up big plays and the only way we can beat most teams is to out score them on offense.. We opened it up early and it worked (long pass to Henderson), why stop?? We didn't try anything deep until the fourth quarter after that..

Payton has "the sickness" and he needs to work that shit out before next year..

OssMan 12-23-2007 10:16 PM

You know who else has the sickness, Tom Coughlin, because he fucking sucks at calling plays and the Giants never mix it up at all especially on the goal line because all they do is run right with Reuben Droughns

OssMan 12-23-2007 10:29 PM

He could have meant for a single game.. I figured that's what he meant cause why would a fan sell their season tickets for (less than??) face value, specially in a market like NY??

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-24-2007 12:18 AM

Randy Moss baby

He could always pull a Lance Briggs..

On this same subject, Stima, do you think y'all will resign Samuels?? Is there enough cap room etc??

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-24-2007 02:36 AM

I dunno if they are, I think they have the space to give him a deal but they aren't going to over pay him. I think that is what it is going to come down to

The dude got a "GET PAID" tattoo during the off-season, so yeah

Kris P Lettus 12-24-2007 02:40 AM

Bobby "The Cajun Cannon" Hebert said today on the radio after the game that the Saints are something like $37 mill under the cap limit..

I hope we go after Lance Briggs, Samuels, and Marcus Trufant..

And Bob Sanders..

Shit, anyone who can make a play on D..

dang our tickets are even better than those and we sold them for like $150 at the beginning of the year lol

that was either a type-o or someone who has no chance...

I did see a lot in the $2,000.00 range, but even still some under $500.00

Hmm, if I recall correctly early in the season I blamed the way the Saints were playing on the coach and you didn't agree...

now I guess I can say "told you so"...

My issue with him back then was play calling, especially the trick play crap that he over used.

VonErichLives 12-24-2007 03:12 AM

I think re-signing Moss and going after Briggs will eat up the money for Samuel and the Pats will look CB with that high draft pick.

unless they deal the pick for say Jason Taylor, then they'll make a harder push.

on the flip side, the Pats win another super bowl this year, and Samuel who is still young may take a deal for a little less to stay here and then his next/last contract go for the money ala: Ty Law and others.

Evil Vito 12-24-2007 10:19 AM

The Giants/Pats game will probably be a snoozer tbh. The Giants are gonna sit their starters after a few series, and I actually heard the Pats might do the same (though I bet they'd come back in if the backups started losing).

I can see it now: Cassel throws a long bomb to someone.....running down the sideline, has an easy touchdown...but he is ordered to step out of bounds so Brady can come in to grab the TD record. :o

Evil Vito 12-24-2007 10:22 AM

Also it looks like the Titans are gonna make the #6 seed against the resting Colts. Goddammit, I really wanted the Browns to make it in. :( Woulda been a great story.
