I love Moxley but I don’t want him anywhere near the title at this point. Not because he isn’t great, but because he’s just lost the damn thing and MJF should be the next guy after 3 straight babyface champions. And that means Moxley has to lose again.

If they do strip Punk of the title, I say run another tourney, building up to grand slam, and have Hangman win it. He’s seemingly back at the unsure of himself cowboy, and it never made sense that he just walked away from the title. He’s also not beaten MJF in AEW, I don’t believe, so there’s history there.

And him losing in another big match, which would be 4 in a row (title match with Punk, IWGP title match, trios title) just adds to his current story of serving regressing to insecurity.

If they're not using it for a storyline all involved should be publicly shamed on television.

Injury might be the best thing honestly if they're going to keep Punk around. Let things cool off, see how things go, keeps open the possibility to turn it into a story if/when Punk can return.

This is what I hate the most about it. MJF feuding with another guy with serious mic skills in Punk could have taken him to the next level. Now I don't know what they do with his direction. If Kenny wasn't in the situation I could have seen them trying him as champ again and he could have represented the "authority" as EVP and had MJF chasing him. But that wouldn't be 1/10th as interesting as the Punk feud.

Who do you make champ now other than Wardlow that makes sense for a feud with MJF and lets him capitalize on his storyline? And even that sucks because MJF needs to go over but you don't wanna bury Wardlow either. Like shit, they may have to make TK an on air authority figure just to give MJF something to work with.
