That's ridiculous. When was the last time he played the WHOLE season without getting hurt?

Requiem 09-14-2010 04:07 PM

Time to cut him. Mad disappointed in him. I realize a lot of it is out of his control, but come on. Love his play style and his attitude, but this is ridiculous. He's used up all his chances, IMO.

CSL 09-14-2010 04:09 PM

I'm not entirely jumping on you but haven't you only followed the NFL for a year or so/haven't had to 'put up' with Sanders' injury problems?

CSL 09-14-2010 04:10 PM

And I feel really bad for Kris Jenkins

Hanso Amore 09-14-2010 04:11 PM

You know what is awesome?

Being a Bills Fan.

Knew who Bob Sanders was before I started actively watching football. Have watched him tear it up on the field before, and have seen enough of him from 2007 to see how good he -can- be. He is a fantastic player, but the Colts went to the Super Bowl last season without him, so I feel he is not as necessary as he once was. I don't care if he was the defensive player of the year once. That doesn't mean the team should keep him in hopes that he'll have one more good season, especially if he goes out in the FIRST GAME. Doesn't take a football expert to draw that conclusion. Guy has sat out more games than he has played. That should be a major factor in any player's worth to a team.

SammyG 09-14-2010 05:03 PM

lol Bob Sanders needs to stop playing football about now. BIG Blow to GB losing Grant.

Reggie Bush officially becomes 1st person ever to forfeit the Hesiman Trophy as a winner.

He gets to keep the record of 2nd highest ever vote total for a winner but looses voting rights as a member of the Heisman winner group, the trophy itself, and any stats he had for the winning season.

It basically means the entire Colts team joins the other 3-4 teams of players that voted to temporary disband from the players union as a final tactic. It would only be activated should the owners start the lockout while negotiations are still being done.

If the owners kill the upcoming season, they benefit by not having to pay any players or their guaranteed money for that year while the players earn nothing for that year. It would hurt the lower pay players the most which makes up the majority of the players union.

By disbanding, the owners now have to deal with 30 mini-unions instead of a single huge union which could lead to 30 new deals costing more money than a single bigger deal.

NFC West: Cardinals
NFC North: Packers
NFC South: Saints
NFC East: Cowboys

AFC West: Chargers
AFC North: Ravens
AFC South: Colts

Monday's game was disappointing offensively but I'm confident the kinks will be ironed out after a week or two. The fact we only lost by a point with a non existent offense is comforting in a way. Gotta win Sunday though, pretty scary thought being 0-2 with an away game at Miami next, and Minnesota, Green Bay and Denver away on the horizon. Jesus.

Stadium was awesome. Spent silly amounts trying all the food but it was all good. Gutted the stealth bomber didn't go over as planned. Probably due to the delay because of the storm I'm guessing. Got interviewed by ESPN New York outside the stadium before the game, trying to get a copy of the video now :D

Actually i think it has more to do with something about being able to sue the owners if the players union is disbanded.

Time for some good ol fashion pig skin.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-19-2010 12:58 PM

Alright guys I've got the Bengals (+40) over the Ravens this week. I was a little concerned about the line as it's pretty tight, but after looking at weather conditions and the fact that Baltimore is banged up in their punt coverage unit, I had to pull the trigger on this one. Just don't see the Ravens winning by more than 35 today.

Triple A 09-19-2010 01:04 PM

Free preview (?) or something of the Red Zone channel right now. On Verizon Fios here.

It's the best channell ever. I get it on Comcast.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-19-2010 01:08 PM

Time Warner doesn't offer Red Zone. Piece of shit.

RP 09-19-2010 01:09 PM

you're practically watching every game at the same time.

Triple A 09-19-2010 01:10 PM

Yeah this is fucking incredible. Was actually going to order it just now but it's free this week I guess.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-19-2010 01:16 PM

I don't even have an option for any NFL package if I wanted it. Time Warner and the NFL have both been buttholes about coming to a deal. Don't even get the NFL Network over here.

It's a fucking joke. I have Time Warner too.

They've also been running commercials about Time Warner not offering the ESPN channels soon. Not really a big deal for me other than football games, but the war between these service providers and networks is fucking stupid.

Requiem 09-19-2010 01:33 PM

Yeah, tried ordering RZ last week but the system wouldn't let me. Kept getting errors and shit. Gonna try again next week after this free thing is done.

Loved it last year.

RP 09-19-2010 01:41 PM

I jack off to NFL Redzone atleast 4 times each sunday.

Emperor Smeat 09-19-2010 01:53 PM

Volare 09-19-2010 02:08 PM

My Vikings are sucking ass. I got a really bad feeling about this season. We've lost so many weapons and we still got to face the AFC and NFC east this year. Looks like GB is taking the NFC North so far.
