I remember signing him to my Dunstable Town team (don't ask) and getting really pissed when Liverpool bought him off me. He scored like 60 goals in our first season in Division 2, then Liverpool bought him for a song, and he was top scorer in the premiership, scored 6 in one international, and after 1 season was worth £15 mill

This message could occur either from a Firewall blocking connectivity or by trying to connect to an incompatible server.

Make sure that the latest patch for the game is installed. Download this from www.sigames.com. Then make sure that the server you are connecting to be running the same version of the game as you. You should remember that you both have to have identical databases, so if anyone has edited their database it could cause a failure to connect.

Next make sure that any firewall software, such as zone alarm, is disabled and if using a hardware firewall or router that it is properly configured and is not preventing outgoing requests from your network. (Contact the manual you got with the firewall/router on how to do this)

You need to enable 9093 and 9094, both TCP and UDP to play CM 0304 Online!

For the record, I'm playing an online game now with my mate, no problems at all

Dazz 03-01-2004 05:21 PM

Going back to the free crisps, Yorkies went round every Premiership ground 2 years ago giving out free Yorkie bars to everyone, I nicked aout 10 of them.

And after the Arsenal match they were giving out free issues of the latest Maxim. Hot.

So there are actually Manchester United fans living in Manchester!?

Dazz 03-02-2004 07:00 AM

Manchester United fan*

Paranoid Rattlesnake 03-02-2004 07:18 AM

CHERNO SAMBA

Dazz 03-02-2004 07:20 AM

Yeah he ruled. 15 whent he game starts. Him and To Madiera won me the premiership on many occasions on my Millwall game. Semi final of the champions league in the 2009/2010 season.

Paranoid Rattlesnake 03-02-2004 07:48 AM

I've got CM03/04

He's still a quality signing, Plays as a backup for me at the moment. On the bench as Landon Donavan and Carlos Tevra play up front.

Sambas scored 15 goals in 11 starts

The Mask 03-02-2004 08:23 AM

I signed him on loan for a season but he didn't do much for me.

packt up 03-02-2004 09:23 AM

I AM NEWCASTLE DAMNIT.

That is all.

Wengerland 03-02-2004 10:09 AM

So to be able to play we all need the same internet connection and database?

If yes to database are we just going from the latest patch or whatever?

Dazz 03-02-2004 11:05 AM

We don't all need the same internet connection, but the faster the connection, the better, as the game runs faster, plus broadband doesn't disconnect after like two hours.

Cactus Sid 03-02-2004 11:22 AM

Yep, from the latest patch

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 11:59 AM

You will all bow down

Dazz 03-02-2004 12:03 PM

Your forgetting, your Wolves.

But thats better for you, less pressure and all.

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 12:04 PM

It's not like I've got the memory of a goldfish here.

F</>uck's sakes, I beat Benfica 6-2 on aggregate in the UEFA semis.

Chelsea are nothing

Dazz 03-02-2004 12:08 PM

That sounds like fight talk to me.

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 12:18 PM

*Draws a line*

*Cheap shot to Mask while he's not in the thread*

Cactus Sid 03-02-2004 12:23 PM

*Watches from a far waiting for the moment to strike...and win*

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 12:29 PM

*Waits for anthrax-laced letter to arrive at Sid's house*

Cactus Sid 03-02-2004 12:50 PM

BUT I'M INVINCIBLE

Dazz 03-02-2004 12:58 PM

Whooa, this was only meant to be a friendly game of Champ Man, what went wrong.

Cactus Sid 03-02-2004 01:10 PM

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 03:58 PM

Mr. Monday Morning 03-02-2004 04:33 PM

Your squad was probably better than the Wolves squad at the start of the game  (:$)

The Mask 03-02-2004 09:17 PM

I doubt it :$

Mike the Metal Ed 03-02-2004 09:31 PM

I'll be in a Network Game if you're getting one going.

Mr. Monday Morning 03-03-2004 03:46 AM

You can't be Leicester :$

Tony Montana 03-03-2004 03:52 AM

 I just found my Champ Manager disk and my Leeds team is pretty damn good , I have halfed the debt , managed to keep half the decent players , and have brought in some good players , I am 5th in the Premiership in my fourth season.

My Team

Paul Robinson

Ian Harte
Michael Dawson
Peter Canero
J Lloyd Samuel

Stephen Mcphail
James Milner
Seth Johnsen
Michael Tonge

Alan Smith
Kevin Kyle

The closest I have came to winning a cup is when I got beat by Arsenal in the FA Cup Final :(

Mr. Monday Morning 03-03-2004 04:03 AM

:wtf: Aren't Harte and Samuel both left backs?
