Judging by schedules, it really looks like Ohio St./Michigan could be another #1 vs. #2 game at the end of the year. Auburn and Florida both have their murderous SEC schedules, USC actually has to go through a decent Pac10 this year and if Michigan and WVU both win out until then, Michigan will probably jump them in the rankings. I wonder how many times there have been two 1 vs 2 games in the same season.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-19-2006 01:13 PM

lol wow Oklahoma probably the worst officating job ever

I don't know if Michigan is going to win out until their game againest Ohio State, just going off of past track records they have been known to slip up and lose to a team they shouldn't lose too.

The Outlaw 09-19-2006 02:34 PM

They've actually been talking about suspending the game.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-19-2006 03:44 PM

Yeah I heard that but it isn't going to happen, if you got ESPNU check out the Bob Stopps press conference, I've never really been an Oklahoma fan but that dude is the man.

The Outlaw 09-21-2006 02:29 PM

Yeah Stoops is cool folk.

BCWWF 09-21-2006 06:16 PM

The reason that I don't give a shit is because Oklahoma isn't going to be a BCS team regardless. They looked very average against Washington and would have barely beat Oregon. So if Oklahoma finishes 9-3 and outside of the BCS, and a team like Iowa State or Missouri finishes 10-2, of course the Cotton Bowl or Holiday Bowl is going to take Oklahoma anyway.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-21-2006 09:03 PM

just had to get the Missouri plug in

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-21-2006 09:16 PM

lol

BCWWF 09-21-2006 09:57 PM

It is a perfectly legitimate point, and Missour and Oklahomai could both very easily go 9-3 this year.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-21-2006 10:57 PM

What if Oklahoma beats Texas this year? "Barely" beating a team like Oregon isn't that bad really, pretty sure they are like #15 or something the nation.

BCWWF 09-22-2006 02:27 AM

That is true, but I am looking more at the Washington game. The fact that Washington looked like the better team for a whole half in Norman, and then Oklahoma wasn't all that much better in the next game.

Oklahoma could beat Texas again this year, and that would change everything, but I don't think they will. Anyway, even if Oklahoma did go like 10-2, isn't the BCS based on the polls, so the voters wouldn't be skewed like the computer program?

Supreme Olajuwon 09-23-2006 01:10 PM

You know......... If the Texans wind up with the first pick this year, then all of a sudden not taking Reggie Bush might've been the smartest move ever. Adrian Peterson is absolutely ridiculous in every sense of the word so if they got him and Mario Williams then they might just be geniuses after all.

RoXer 09-23-2006 02:21 PM

I will be on national television TONIGGHHTTTT

Check your local listings.

ABC. 5 p.m.

I'll be probably on the 40 yd line on the right side of the field if you look at it from the tv. I'll probably be about 2-3 rows up. I'll be the one in the red shirt.

BCWWF 09-23-2006 05:12 PM

4-0!

Anybody see the Colorado game? Up 13-0 at Georgia in the fourth, then end up losing 14-13. Too bad they are about to go 0-5. Also, sucks that Wisconson lost, that is usually one of my favorite games, I wish it could have been on at a better time.

BCWWF 09-23-2006 05:13 PM

Also, No. 4 West Virginia 7 - 7 East Carolina in the second quarter.

Supermark101 09-23-2006 07:06 PM

Arkansas posted this as a demo of what the shirt would look like. The two 00's are where the score goes.

CU being 0-4 makes me quite happy

RoXer 09-23-2006 11:41 PM

FUCK. Tuitama is GARBAGE. We held them 0-3 till halftime, but like always USC turns it up at the half. Why is that? Every single USC game I've watched it's like they take steriods or adreneline or something and just shut teams down.

We looked good and all though I guess. I loved chanting "Oklahoma" during the reviews. Was really looking foward to the upset but Tuitama is trash.

RoXer 09-23-2006 11:41 PM

Also, WOW. Can't believe ND came back.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-24-2006 12:38 AM

lol damn I was hoping ND would lose so I could make my away message "Brady Quinn for Heisman" to piss off all my friends.

I wore a Michigan jersey on campus last Saturday night though so I guess that is good enough. Everyone loves ND around here so it was hilarious

Joey Slugs 09-24-2006 02:33 AM

INSTANT CLASSIC!

GO IRISH!

BCWWF 09-24-2006 03:54 AM

Damn, all I can say about that game.

D Mac 09-24-2006 04:32 AM

Mizzou 4-0 WOOHOO

RP 09-24-2006 12:44 PM

Purdue beats Notre Dame next week.

BCWWF 09-24-2006 01:29 PM

Nah, if Notre Dame was going to lose again before USC, it was Michigan State. It would also be cooler if both teams were real good going into that game, because that will be amazing.

In terms of USC, am I the only one who is completely out of the loop? I mean I know that they are really good, but I don't know who their quarterback, running back, basically anybody is. It seems like they would be doing more to promote those guys since so many ESPN guys like them in the national title game.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-24-2006 01:35 PM

lol Do you even watch ESPN? John David Booty has been all over the place

BCWWF 09-24-2006 01:57 PM

I assume that is a USC player, but I haven't heard anything about him. The Big Ten is definately the big story this year, but USC always has games on at fucked up times, so thats probably why I'm not watching them too much.

RP 09-24-2006 02:28 PM

I'm telling you right now. Purdue is going to upset Notre Dame.

lol maybe you hear a lot about the Big Ten since you live in that area? John David Booty is the starting QB at USC and was one of the most highly rated QBs coming out of high school. I really don't know how you can say you hear the same shit on ESPN all the time when you obviously aren't even watching it (If you where, you'd know about John David Booty)

BCWWF 09-24-2006 03:31 PM

I live in Big 12 territory, first of all, second of all, John David Booty is not talked about as much as you are giving him credit for. Maybe I am one of the few who doesn't know who he is, but he isn't a mainstay topic on ESPN like Troy Smith, Chris Leak or Colt McCoy.

And I was never complaining about ESPN's coverage of college football. When people complain, they complain about the coverage of baseball. I was simply saying that for how hyped up USC is as a team, their players aren't on the same level nationally as Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, etc in terms of popularity. You trying to make fun of me for not knowing one player on USC doesn't really disprove my point.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-24-2006 05:38 PM

Colt McCoy? I haven't heard shit about that guy since preseason..I have heard a lot about Troy Smith and Chris Leak though since they are returning starters. I think USC has been getting coverage though...remember when they romped Arkansas?

BTW Big 12 and Big Ten territory are pretty much the same region

BCWWF 09-24-2006 06:18 PM

I am not complaining that they aren't getting coverage, I am saying that compared to the years of Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer, it is weird that the team is still as good as it is but without a marquee player like that.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-24-2006 10:23 PM

Well what do you expect? They don't have any returning starters so what are people suppose to say? It is not like they where talking about Reggie Bush before he blew up and came on the scene - Leinart and Palmer are the same. Nobody started talking about them BEFORE they started playing. It took some time. I still don't know how you claim to be such a component on the media and their coverage when you aren't even watching what the media is putting out, because if you where you would have definetly atleast heard of John David Booty and realized that he is the USC starting QB.

BCWWF 09-24-2006 10:40 PM

I don't understand why you are getting so upset that I am not familiar with the University of Southern California football team. I'm not complaining, I was just pointing out that such a good team and program has changed so much and there aren't the same superstars there used to be.

And I'm sorry that I don't watch college gameday from dusk til dawn on Saturday's. I never claimed to be the college football media watchdog, I don't know why you are so upset about that? There is a big difference in complaining about the coverage of a sport that has 30 teams and a game on every night for seven months per year than college football, which has 118 teams with players cycling in and 50+ games per week. That being said, I never complained about college football coverage, so either stop trying to attack me for doing it or discuss what I actually said.

OK, so Stima and apparently most of the nation knows who the quarterback is. They are still No. 3 in the nation, but since they play their games at like 8 p.m. on Saturday nights I am not very familiar with them. In Stima's world, I am the only one.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-24-2006 10:52 PM

It is not a personal attack at all, I just think its funny how you point out media biases in other sports then are totally unaware of the USC QB (So do you not watch SportsCenter?) If you don't follow college football "that closely" (I dunno how closely that really is if don't know who the USC QB is) then why even bring up something like that? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I never said you had to watch "College Gameday dusk til dawn" or anything like that, but I am pretty sure any common college football fan is going to know John David Booty is the USC QB.

The Outlaw 09-24-2006 11:45 PM

Yeah, LSU's ex QB's brother. Josh Booty I think?

I am still pretty shocked at the ARK/Bama game. We were such a better team than they were. Our QB is the future though. 16/20 240+ yards 3TDs 0 INTs. Just don't know why we are running KD so much. 26 rushes for 64 yards. :|
