The early stuff about Cody isn't a good look for Cody but the longer his story went on, it did start to become blurry on who he was actually complaining about and how much of the bullying was actually from Cody.
Shame about DDP acting like a douchebag behind the scenes considering all the good work he had done for others in recent years. Then again would help explain that big public outburst he had towards Jake Roberts over the coronavirus that felt like it came out of left field and being a hypocrite when he was involved in a similar situation later. |

I notice that there is a sub-section of AEW fans that are always mad because Cody is in a prominent program. Same sub-section seems to be deftly quiet about the Bucks booking themselves to win the Tag Titles or Omega being in a World Title match, while more or less letting the Women's Division (the Division he's supposed to be EXECUTIVE FUCKING VICE PRESIDENT of) languish. I wonder why that is. :shifty:
But seriously, Omega should be fired from his front office position because he clearly can't walk and chew gum at the same time (especially considering that Shida has more or less cleaned out her division.). The only thing that will get him fired is likely him getting caught with Riho* "playing with his Sega." *Not necessarily Riho herself.j |
Cody deserves to always be in a prominent program because his work is consistently the best in the company.

I don’t mind Cody being in prominent programs. He’s excellent.
What I didn’t like was the weekly TNT Title challenge. One of AEW’s strengths since Dynamite started was mixing their talent in and out - you’d rarely see guys wrestle two Dynamites in a row. If Cody wrestles one week, he’d probably be doing a promo the next etc So when you set yourself up with a mandatory 15 minute Cody match every week it felt eh because AEW has a huge roster to feature. |
