Y2Ant 12-29-2007 10:50 PM

Randy Moss > your favorite WR

Y2Ant 12-29-2007 10:51 PM

also rofl @ the lack of hype over Brady breaking Manning's TD record

owned Peyton, owned :'(

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2007 10:51 PM

Nah..

Colston will have better numbers in ten years..

Mark my works..

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2007 10:51 PM

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2007 11:20 PM

Damn Pats..

I really hope the Saints beat them in the Super Bowl..

:shifty:

(or the Pack)

Cooler Tom Schuler 12-29-2007 11:22 PM

Well, there it is, 16-0. Can't say that before this year I thought I'd ever see it.

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2007 11:23 PM

I thought the Colts would get it two (??) years ago but meh...

(whatever year they went 14-0)

OssMan 12-29-2007 11:26 PM

dum

OssMan 12-29-2007 11:27 PM

Kris P Lettus I'm pretty sure you were watching UFC 69 the whole time because it was better than the football game

Boondock Saint 12-29-2007 11:31 PM

God damn Collinsworth is a dumbass.

Overshadowed by the Patriots 16-0.

Hell of a game, so glad it was simulcast so I could watch. Kudos go to the Patriots, they are a hell of a team that hung on at all points and never gave up. Gotta give props to my Giants for coming out and playing with some attitude and emotion. For the most part referees and other dumb things didn't play a part so gotta give props for the game being legit. God, wanted that W so bad, but congratulations Patriots.

DrA 12-29-2007 11:38 PM

That record doesn't mean anything. They can still lose easily to a Jacksonville or an Indianapolis before it is all said and done.

OssMan 12-29-2007 11:38 PM

Gotta give props to Vince Wilfork poking Jacobs eye :y:

Yes, true. Losing in the playoffs would mar the regular season accomplishment, but it is still amazing none the less. In my opinion of course.

That was dirty as hell. I'm not going to say anyone was innocent because there was a lot of talking and shoving back and forth but I hope Wilfork gets a nice hefty fine for that little move.

SammyG 12-29-2007 11:49 PM

That was a fucking sweet game. Congrats to the Patriots, absolutely phenomenal.

James Steele 12-30-2007 12:46 AM

I hate the Pats, but they showed why they are 16-0. They can overcome anything thrown at them, but I still don't think they can beat the Colts twice.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-30-2007 12:55 AM

Brady breaks the record, Moss breaks the record, Patriots 16-0

Fucking right doggy

Really think its gonna come down to the Patriots/Colts match up in the AFC Championship game. Really can't see anyone else beating them.

Also, I like Favre but I wouldn't mind to see the Patriots beat the Packers in the Superbowl, considering I had to watch Packers win it over the Pats when I was a youngin'

OssMan 12-30-2007 01:09 AM

I would fucking love to see Favre destroy the Patriots in the Super Bowl even though he is kinda annoying but whatever. I have been pulling for the Patriots to go undefeated but they really piss me off after tonight so fuck them

Supreme Olajuwon 12-30-2007 01:12 AM

People keep saying the Jags can beat the Pats but I just don't see it. Yeah they have a badass defense but I really think the only way a team can win is if they match the Pats on offense. I don't think Garrard can do that. We saw what happened when teams with great defenses and game manager QBs played the Pats (Philly, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NY Giants): the Pats still scored and the other offenses couldn't keep up. The only way the Pats will lose is if a big game QB steps up and his defense gives him a chance. That leaves Indy, Green Bay, Dallas and maaaaaaaaaaaaybe Seattle.

*79

Plans fell through..

MVP 12-30-2007 01:29 AM

Every game in the playoffs is gonna be a nail biter for the Pats, especially if against Indy. Can't say I didn't get stressed out with this game, but it all went away when Brady threw that 2nd TD pass to Moss and re-took the lead.

Playoff time baby

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-30-2007 01:32 AM

It's pretty crazy both records where broken together at the same time. I'm sure that ball will be in Canton pretty soon

OssMan 12-30-2007 01:34 AM

Giants get Tampa Bay in the first round definately can take them and hey maybe we will score if we get posession on their 40 yard line this year :y:

Those teams dont have the running game the Jags do though

Skippord 12-30-2007 03:14 AM

Ignore the fact that Willie Parker was the leading rusher in the league before his injury

Supreme Olajuwon 12-30-2007 04:46 AM

Brian Westbrook is also terrible.

Skippord 12-30-2007 05:37 AM

I guess I meant that the Jags have two awesome running backs

but I don't know

Wait, I'm full of excuses? you're the one who was saying how Manning did it in 1 less game, because he did it the 15th week, if that's the case then don't you have to factor everything, such as 9 games Manning played in a dome?

Seriously, they're 16-0 which will only be a footnote if they don't win it all.

That being said RP, we can already see it building, the pats got 19-0 including a beat down of your Colts in Foxboro your head if going to explode...

TD's thrown in 1 season Brady
TD's caught in 1 season Moss
Points scored 2007 Patriots

just deal with it.

VonErichLives 12-30-2007 06:18 AM

So, Giants fans are you happy Coughlin went for it?

I don't know the detail of the injuries, but didn't your starting Center, LB and DB go down?

That being said, one hell of a game and fun to watch...

Lots of Props to Eli and that pass rush should give most teams fits

Gonzo 12-30-2007 08:52 AM

I'm happy we tried. Would have been disappointing to lay down and play backups. The injuries aren't serious, I don't believe, but if they are then it might have been a large price to pay.

Hell of a game. Honestly, the Patriots deserve people being on their junk. When I was watching Brady he just has "it". So many times I saw Osi come flying around the corner, and most QB's would fumble the ball because Osi would swat it out. Brady just knew when to move in the pocket and always made the throw that had to be made.

Oh while we're factoring things in, how bout the 83 more pass attempts too.

Hey the Colts are happy you're 16-0. Its awsome tbh. Defending Superbowl champs going potentially being 14-2 and there on no ones radar. I dont really envy the Pats position. If you lose, you're the biggest choke job ever, but if you win, you're the greatest team ever, hands down. But just dont lose.
