The WWE's YouTube account is uploading a bunch of Jerry Lawler videos.

I was watching this video because I remember watching it when it was new and being surprised that Lawler was back, but anyway, I noticed that there are no blurs over the WWF logos.

Maybe that story about not needing to blur everything was true.

It was settled, probably for the network. As long as they don't push the product as "WWF", they're now allowed to use all archival footage uncensored.

Speaking of old themes, does anyone else remember this old Booker T theme from WWE Originals? He only used it briefly.

He hasn't used it yet and I'm up to February 2003. Got to be soon then with who's on the cover of that CD.

came out early-ish '04. Only reason I specifically remember this is because I bought it a few months after moving out (October/November '03) into the big bad world alone (well with a missus) and playing Basic Thuganomics obnoxiously loud on the bedroom stereo.

Cool King 09-12-2012 04:53 PM

This is one for my fellow Brits. I was in my local Primark shop today with my friends and I noticed that they were selling a bunch of T-Shirts for £6 each. These T-shirts were the really shit ones that everyone seems to be wearing these days that are made of incredibly thin material, designs that have that "distressed look" to them and a V neck that's way past your nipples.

Anyway, they had a bunch of them with various trademarked characters on them, such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Disney's Goofy and Sonic The Hedgehog. But I noticed, to my surprise, one pile of T-shirts with a massive WWE logo on them.

I checked the tag on the neck area and it had the WWE logo again and said something like "© World Wrestling Entertainment. 2012 All Rights Reserved." under it. It didn't even have the "Authentic Wear" tag on it like the WWE T-shirts usually do.

http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/831...icwearfall.jpg

It got me thinking, are Primark allowed to sell that T-shirt? I've always been under the impression that the only place to buy official WWE merchandise is from WWEShop and also the stands at events. :-\

Cool King 09-12-2012 04:56 PM

I was searching for an image of said T-shirt and apparently, Primark are selling a British Bulldog one too.

My Nexus top-rope and nWo shirts don't have the "authentic wear" tag on them either and they came direct from wweshop.com

The Nexus one was also scoop necked and had the distressed look. Didn't even know until I got it.

Cool King 09-12-2012 05:27 PM

I don't know how to describe it, but top-rope shirts don't have the "Authentic Wear" tag on them because they're suppose to be made with a better material than the usual WWE shirt and are made for the more "fashionably conscious" adult WWE fan. Hence the distressed look on the design.

The nWo shirt is a retro shirt and retro shirts don't have the tag either. I'm assuming because it would make them less "authentically retro" if they had the tag on them.

Jericho got a new tattoo today.

It's the front cover of his latest album, Sin And Bones.

Cool King 09-12-2012 05:58 PM

Though I have noticed that Jericho's tattoo is wrong, as the bottom bone on the album cover is facing left, whereas on Jericho's arm, it's facing right.

Unless he wanted it that way.

XL 09-13-2012 08:26 AM

Something doesn't seem right there.

The IC was unified with the WHC, then reinstated in the same year? Is that correct?

XL 09-13-2012 08:29 AM

Just checked Wiki. The IC/WHC unification was at No Mercy 2002.

Cool King 09-13-2012 08:31 AM

They have it wrong.

It was at No Mercy 2002 that it was unified with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Cool King 09-13-2012 08:31 AM

Ah.
